Star Dragon God
Seeing Huo Feng desperately fleeing, Li Tie became even more ferocious, his expression twisted as he said, "Ruo Feng, just keep running. Use this brief moment to appreciate the value of life."
Huo Feng ignored him, secretly cursing, "Hmph! You greedy bastards want my things. I can't wait to see your desperate expression as you struggle in your dying moments."
As Huo Feng approached the magic array, he gradually slowed down. Noticing Huo Feng's deceleration, Li Tie assumed it was due to Huo Feng's Origin Force being depleted and coldly snorted as he fiercely pursued.
Just as Huo Feng was about to reach the magic array, he suddenly accelerated and dashed through. Seeing Huo Feng speed up unexpectedly, Li Tie also accelerated without a second thought, aiming to deliver a fatal blow.
Suddenly, Li Tie found himself unable to move, instantly blinded and panicking. Then he saw a white Light Barrier rise up, enveloping him within.
In a moment of desperation, Li Tie quickly raised his fist and struck the Light Barrier, but it felt like hitting water; his attacks vanished into thin air.
At that moment, Li Tie sensed a deadly aura descending from above. He looked up abruptly and saw a massive light sword slowly falling like a death sentence.
With no time to ponder how Huo Feng at the Earth Vein Realm Fourth Stage could unleash such a lethal attack, he had nearly gone mad. His fists wildly struck around him in a frenzy, but it was all in vain.
Meanwhile, Huo Feng slowly approached the Light Barrier, a smile on his lips as he said, "Weren't you going to kill me? Didn't you want revenge for Scar Strong? Come on, hit me!"
However, Li Tie didn't even glance at Huo Feng, lost in his relentless assault on the Light Barrier. The massive light sword was getting closer and closer. The expression on Li Tie's face twisted into one of despair—a helplessness and unwillingness facing imminent death.
Suddenly, Li Tie's aura surged violently. Huo Feng realized that Li Tie was burning his own bodily functions to unleash even greater power, just like Scar Strong. Seeing Li Tie struggle in such desperation made Huo Feng lose interest in taunting him. He turned away and headed straight for Kimuura.
"Ah... Huo Feng, you son of a bitch, you'll soon follow in my footsteps."
Li Tie suddenly cried out tragically just before his death. Huo Feng paused for a moment, thinking that it seemed someone still had intentions on the typewriter. But then he smirked and left without looking back, while behind him, Li Tie was cleaved into ashes by the enormous light sword of punishment.
...
Huo Feng soon arrived at the entrance of Kimuura Village and found that it was filled with wooden houses and thatched roofs. It looked like the villagers lived very modestly. What puzzled Huo Feng even more was that the village gate was tightly shut, with no one guarding it. Additionally, many parts of the wooden walls surrounding the village had collapsed, making it appear like a deserted wasteland.
With various questions in mind, Huo Feng pushed open the somewhat dilapidated wooden door and walked inside. As expected, there was no one inside; the ground was covered in bloodstains, and a strong smell of blood permeated the air.
Furrowing his brows, Huo Feng stood in the center of the village, thinking, "Why did those Thorny Earth Demon Boars attack this village? Where did all the villagers go? Why are there no bodies? Did those Thorned Earth Demon Pigs eat them? But it shouldn't be this clean; there aren't even any bones left."
As Huo Feng pondered this, he suddenly heard a cry of "Ah!" He immediately dashed toward the nearby thatched house and saw a black Thorned Earth Demon Pig, about half his height, snorting white vapor from its nostrils. Its long tusks were exposed as it fiercely stared into a corner, thick mucus dripping from its mouth while it scratched the ground with its hooves, ready to charge at any moment.
In that corner was a boy who looked to be around seven or eight years old, leaning against the thatched house and staring in terror at the Thorned Earth Demon Pig. The ground around him was littered with broken soil fragments.
Without hesitation, Huo Feng rushed forward, stepping on the Thorned Earth Demon Pig's head before jumping beside the boy and scooping him up. Before the Thorned Earth Demon Pig could react, Huo Feng leaped off its head and flew out of the thatched house with the boy in his arms.
Once they reached the center of the village, Huo Feng set the terrified boy down. At that moment, the Thorned Earth Demon Pig charged out as well, angrily snorting white vapor; dust swirled around as if Huo Feng had stolen its food.
It then crazily charged at Huo Feng, who had his back turned to it while looking at the boy. The boy shouted in fear, "Big brother, behind you!"
Huo Feng smiled lightly without turning around. With a swift motion, he unleashed a silver Starlight Blade that shot rapidly toward the Thorned Earth Demon Pig's forehead.
The boy did not see Huo Feng's actions, as he was pointing at the Thorned Earth Demon Pig behind him. Just then, with a loud "bang," the Thorned Earth Demon Boar fell to the ground, a stream of blood shooting from its forehead.
The boy's expression, which had been filled with extreme worry and fear, suddenly turned blank and surprised. Huo Feng smiled and said, "Brother, are you the only one here? Where are the others from the village?"
The boy was still in shock and completely unaware that Huo Feng was speaking to him. Huo Feng gently turned the boy's face towards him and said, "Brother, stop dazing off. Quickly tell me, I came here to help you."
"Ah! I don't know. I ran out to play by myself before five o'clock and just returned last evening to find the village like this. I was terrified, so when I yelled for my parents and rushed into my room, suddenly it felt like an earthquake; the ground started shaking. But I knew it wasn't an earthquake because I heard chaotic footsteps. So I hid inside a Rice Jar and didn't dare come out, just surviving on raw rice."
The boy began to cry again, shouting, "Dad, Mom, where are you?"
Huo Feng frowned, stood up, then suddenly crouched down again to ask the boy, "Brother, don't cry yet. Is there a shelter around here? Your parents might be there."
Upon hearing this from Huo Feng, the boy's crying abruptly stopped, and he became excited. "You're right! Big brother, you're so smart! There's a big hole dug by our ancestors at the foot of a mountain not far from our village. We usually hide there during disasters. Big brother, I'll take you there right now!"
He immediately stood up and grabbed Huo Feng's hand as they ran towards the outskirts of the village.
