At this moment, Huo Feng's tears streamed down his cheeks as he rushed towards Huo Lianqing, shouting loudly, "Father."
Suddenly, Huo Feng stopped with a gasp. He felt a golden aura rapidly surge from his heart to his brain, stimulating his mind and gradually bringing him back to consciousness. Startled, he thought, "Wasn't I at Black Yan Mountain? How did I end up at home? This is bad; it seems I've fallen under the illusion of a magical beast. I wonder how they are doing?"
Once he regained clarity, Huo Feng unleashed his Origin Force to break through the interference of the illusion. At that moment, he realized he was standing on the edge of a cliff, which made him break out in a cold sweat. He became increasingly curious about the Golden Light Membrane that had helped suppress his special blood.
Huo Feng quickly stepped back from the cliff's edge when suddenly a voice rang out.
"Xuanran, I'm going to kill you for killing my father."
Huo Feng recognized it was Nangong Yu's voice and immediately turned to look. He saw Nangong Yu attacking Xuanran, who had blood-red eyes and was laughing maniacally. Looking at Nangong Yu as if he were an ant, Xuanran laughed, "Hahaha! How can you ants block my path? Since you seek death, I'll send you to reunite with your father." With that, Xuanran surged forward enveloped in fiery red waves.
Seeing this situation, Huo Feng didn't have time to think further. His arms began to change rapidly; both arms grew larger and sprouted golden Dragon Scales, while his hands transformed into golden claws.

It was then that Huo Feng moved; his Golden Dragon Arms reverted to their original form as he pressed his right index finger against Nangong Yu's forehead.
Nangong Yu felt a cool sensation wash over him and instantly regained consciousness. Seeing the injured Huo Feng before him, he asked in surprise, "What happened?"
Seeing Nangong Yu recover, Xuanran also sighed in relief and immediately sat down on the ground.
"We just fell for the illusion of the beast, and we didn't expect to run into trouble as soon as we arrived," Huo Feng said.
"It's all my fault; I should have listened to you from the start," Xuanran replied, feeling a bit scared and apologetic.
In the shadows, a figure also let out a sigh of relief. This person was Chief Liu, who had been ready to act when he saw Huo Feng approaching the cliff. However, sensing the changes in Huo Feng, he halted his movements, realizing that there were many unpredictable factors about Huo Feng.
This was the first time all three of them had encountered an illusion, and they were all at the same level. Yet, Huo Feng managed to break free from the illusion on his own. Chief Liu was increasingly curious about Huo Feng.
"What are we going to do now that both of you are injured?" Nangong Yu asked, still shaken by what had just happened and unsure of what to do.
"How about this: you guard us while Brother Xuanran and I start healing," Huo Feng suggested.
"But what if that beast takes the opportunity to attack us?" Nangong Yu was still worried about the unknown beast.
Xuanran spoke up, "The beasts here likely specialize in illusions; their offensive and defensive capabilities should be weak. Otherwise, they would have attacked us while we were injured. In the shadows, a strange and lewd laughter echoed as a person leaned against a Bald Man.

Just then, from Huo Feng's heart area, a strand of golden aura from the Golden Light Membrane extended towards both arms where two drops of Blood of the Earth were located. In an instant, those two drops were activated. At that moment, Huo Feng's arms transformed into two Golden Dragon Arms.
Huo Feng felt a sudden clarity amidst the chaos. He looked at Nangong Yu and Xuanran, noticing that both of them seemed much more relaxed. Huo Feng did not understand why this was the case, but it was not the time to dwell on it. He activated "Meteoric Steps" and took a quick step forward, arriving in front of Phantom Butterfly.
Phantom Butterfly looked at Huo Feng in terror, wanting to fly away but finding its wings unable to move. It trembled in fear, lying flat on the ground. Huo Feng stood before it like its king.
Huo Feng raised his Golden Dragon Arm, ready to deal with the Phantom Butterfly. At that moment, a woman's voice echoed in his mind: "Do not kill it. Do not underestimate this Phantom Butterfly; it is rare. Once it grows, it will show remarkable potential."
Huo Feng was taken aback and thought, "Who are you? Why are you inside me? Why do you help me when I am in danger?"
"You do not need to know that now. The power I left within you is limited. Take this Phantom Butterfly; it will be of great help to you in the future. I will enhance your Narcissistic Ring; it is about to release life. Do not worry; it will not attack you later," the voice replied.
Huo Feng saw a glimmer of golden light flowing through his veins towards the Narcissistic Ring on his finger. With a thought, the Phantom Butterfly offered no resistance as it entered Huo Feng's Narcissistic Ring.
Huo Feng stood there, unable to comprehend everything that had just happened. At that moment, Nangong Yu and Xuanran approached and patted Huo Feng on the shoulder. Nangong Yu asked, "Are you okay? What happened to that Phantasm? Where did it go?"
"I don't know either; just as I was about to kill it, it suddenly disappeared," Huo Feng could only lie to them.
"At least we avoided disaster. Let's continue moving forward," Xuanran said with a sigh.
Thus, the three continued toward the direction of Shadow Cave.
