I did not answer the question because I had no answer. Clearing my throat, I continued, "Secondly, who exactly called Sister Mei to inform her to tell Ma Zhenkai and Xi Shaohua about this matter?" 0

"And they emphasized that it was the three people from the seventeenth-floor clothing company who saw Ma Zhenkai cheating? Could it really be Du Weidong and the others?" Kong Xuan added. 0

I nodded, "Thirdly, is there any connection between Wen Li's car accident and Chen Fei'er being brought to this building? Fourth, what does Liu Zihao's close contact with that ghost imply?" 0

Just as I was about to continue, there was a series of knocks at the door, which then opened to reveal Liu Zihao entering with a briefcase in hand. 0

Upon seeing us, Liu Zihao broke into a broad smile, waving and greeting us. Suddenly, he slipped and seemed to have stepped on water that Fatty had just spilled, causing him to fall to the ground. His briefcase flew up onto the Flower Board and then fell down, scattering A4 papers everywhere; they appeared to be contract documents. 0

I didn't bother to help Liu Zihao, instead reaching for the flying papers because there were three or four overturned teacups on the table, and if the papers landed in them, they would get soaked. 0

I reacted quickly and managed to catch four or five sheets in an instant. 0

"Don't look at my contract!" Liu Zihao shouted urgently, completely disregarding his fall. His voice became somewhat distorted from shouting so loudly. 0

He was not doing well; upon hearing that, I instinctively glanced at the top sheet in my hand, which happened to be a signature page of a contract. The insured party listed was Cheng Yongqi, and the beneficiary was surprisingly Liu Zihao. 0

What does this mean? Is Liu Zihao the beneficiary of Cheng Yongqi's accident insurance? In other words, if Cheng Yongqi were to die unexpectedly, then Liu Zihao would receive the insurance payout. Could it be that Liu Zihao is having an affair with Cheng Yongqi, or is there another reason? 0

At this moment, Liu Zihao also got up and saw me looking at that paper. He immediately shouted, "How can you do this? How can you look at someone else's things without permission?" 0

He reached out to snatch the contract from my hands. 0

I casually punched him on the forehead; with a thud, Liu Zihao fell over and fainted on the ground. 0

Fatty Kong Xuan, who was picking up other papers, was taken aback when he saw me knock down Liu Zihao. Especially Fatty, who had an exaggerated expression: "Ghost Brother, even if he said something to you, you didn't need to knock him out like that!" 0

I couldn't be bothered to explain. After taking those papers from them, I gathered three contracts. These contracts were for personal accident insurance for Du Weidong, Qin Zhicheng, and Cheng Yongqi. Each person's coverage amount was quite high; even someone like me with some wealth found it tempting. The strangest part was that all three contracts listed Liu Zihao as the beneficiary, and the signing dates were no more than a week ago. 0

He handed the contract to both of them for review. After looking it over, both of them had a grim expression. After a while, Kong Xuan frowned and said, "There is something strange about these three contracts." 0

Kong Xuan's statement was rather subtle, while Fatty was much more straightforward: "What’s strange? I can say with confidence that this guy colluded with ghosts and then killed Du Weidong and others to obtain a large insurance payout." 0

Although Fatty's words were speculative, I believed this was very close to the truth. For some unknown reason, these three had signed large insurance policies with the insurance company, naming Liu Zihao as the beneficiary. Moreover, within less than a week, they all died mysteriously. In other words, Liu Zihao could potentially receive a huge insurance payout from all three policies in just one week. 0

Although I didn’t know the insurance company’s procedures, Liu Zihao himself worked for the insurance company, so he definitely had ways to claim full compensation. The thought that Liu Zihao might have colluded with ghosts to kill Du Weidong and others for the sake of obtaining a large insurance payout sent a chill down my spine. For a moment, I didn’t know what I should do. 0

Kong Xuan picked up Liu Zihao's briefcase, opened it, and pulled out a stack of receipts. After looking at them, he smiled bitterly and said, "These are the payment receipts from Du Weidong and the others." 0

Hearing Kong Xuan say this only confirmed my suspicions further. Damn it, how could someone build their own interests on the lives of others? How could such scum not just die? A flame of anger surged within me as I walked over and grabbed Liu Zihao by the collar, lifting him up and slapping him four times across the face. 0

Liu Zihao grunted twice, opened his eyes in confusion, and when he saw me glaring at him menacingly, his face turned pale. He stammered, "What... what do you want?" 0

"You bastard, explain to me what this contract is about!" I slammed the contract down on the table angrily. 0

"They were all good friends of mine; it was just a joke..." 0

With a loud slap, I struck him again, forcing the rest of his words back into his throat. 0

"I... I actually wanted to forge the contract to defraud the insurance..." 0

Another slap followed. This one sent Liu Zihao flying; when he got back up, he spat out two teeth and blood flowed from the corner of his mouth. 0

"You better tell the truth before Ghost Brother kills you!" Fatty kicked Liu Zihao in front of me. 0

"I... I..." Liu Zihao finally realized who he was dealing with and stumbled through an explanation of what happened. 0

He had taken Chen Fei'er to the hospital but after several attempts at rescue, she ultimately couldn’t be saved. When he returned home, Zhou Xiaoping became mentally unstable due to the shock and ended up in the hospital as well, which further depressed him. At that moment, he received a phone call asking about what had happened. Not long after that call, a ghost appeared beside Liu Zihao. Although he was scared half to death, he realized that this ghost wasn’t there to kill him; instead, it wanted to know who those three people were because it intended to kill them. 0

Liu Zihao was initially scared upon hearing this, but then he thought that since the three of them were doomed anyway, he might as well trick them into buying a hefty insurance policy first, seeking fortune in danger. With the help of the ghost, this became exceptionally easy; the three were controlled by the ghost to sign their names and press their fingerprints, and afterward, they were each killed by the ghost. 0

"Who called you?" I shouted sternly. 0

"It was a woman; I don't know who she is. She called me right after work," Liu Zihao said, trembling. 0

"What did she say to you?" 0

Liu Zihao did not respond immediately. Instead, he took a deep breath, and a strange expression appeared on his face. 0

Oh, so you're starting to act cool now? I couldn't help but feel furious and raised my hand to slap him. 0

"Heart!" Kong Xuan shouted. Before I could react, I felt someone pull hard on my collar, and then I was lifted off the ground as if riding clouds, crashing against the wall with a loud bang. 0

With two more thuds, a painting on the wall fell to the ground along with me. 0

I jumped up; there was no one else in the room. Fatty looked bewildered, Kong Xuan had a serious expression, while Liu Zihao wore a sinister smile. 0

"Kong Xuan, what’s going on?" I shouted. 0

"It’s that ghost!" Kong Xuan replied while drawing symbols in the air with Spell. 0

"Stop drawing symbols; don’t you just want to see me? Why make it so complicated?" A gloomy voice echoed from mid-air, and then a wisp of smoke gradually emerged in the air, becoming denser until it coalesced into a thick black mist that twisted and rolled slowly, changing into various bizarre shapes. 0

This black mist was the same one that had emerged from Chen Fei'er's coffin in the funeral home. 0

At that moment, the door opened, and a rather beautiful Waitress peeked in to ask what was happening. 0

The black mist flickered, and Kong Xuan rushed towards the waitress but was too late; the black mist had already enveloped her. In the next moment, Waitress was thrown into the corner of the booth, lying on the ground with her eyes closed, unaware of her fate. 0

At this moment, I couldn't care less about the situation with the Waitress. I shouted at the black mist, "Damn it, this waiter is innocent! Also, aren't you disabled? Can't you even talk?" 0

"It's just a little thing, and you believe it? Possessing that Meatball is just to add some entrance effects," the black mist sneered. "Fine, I don't want to harm the innocent either. Let's seal this private room. Until I lift the spell, no one can enter." 0

The black mist flickered a few times, and with a loud bang, the door to the private room closed automatically. A silver light flashed several times, and suddenly the walls around the room began to emit a series of clicking sounds. Then both the walls and the door started reflecting silver light. Upon closer inspection, there were no gaps at the door; in that instant, it transformed the private room into a large iron cabinet. 0

"What do you want?" I shouted, glancing at Kong Xuan and noticing his lips moving. I realized he was warming up and quickly recited Transforming Illusions into Reality. 0

"I hear Liu Zihao wants to sign a few accident insurance contracts," the shadow coldly laughed. 0

Turning to Kong Xuan, I saw a red light sphere had already appeared between his palms. The sphere rapidly grew until it was about the size of a volleyball. Kong Xuan exhaled and said, "Reversal of Aging! Aging!" 0

With a push of his hands forward, the red light sphere flew above the black mist. Suddenly, it burst into countless red Starbursts that intertwined like rain, enveloping the black mist. 0

"Hmph!" The black mist let out a cold snort, and in an instant shrank to the size of a Basin. Then it suddenly expanded outward, instantly wrapping all the red Starbursts within it. There were faint sounds of wind and thunder in the air. Before long, the black mist returned to its previous form, and all the red Starbursts vanished as if devoured by the black mist. 0

Kong Xuan's spell was actually eaten by it! 0
