"Kill them!"
Lin gritted his teeth and squeezed out these words through clenched jaws.
He suddenly lifted his heavy head, his eyes filled with the aura of blood and death; wherever his gaze landed, it signified the end of life.
"Brother, no, we can't kill people!"
Xing Shifang struggled to hold onto Lin's raised arm, preventing him from unleashing the insects again. If they swarmed out like a tide, everyone would likely be dead.
In this brief moment, the Destruction Bug had already caused numerous injuries. The group of people was crying out for help, and if it weren't for Edible having grown a bit more rational, they might have all been dead by now.
Edible also leaned against Lin, rubbing against him forcefully. It could sense the fear and anger of the crowd but felt no killing intent; this was why Edible had not gone all out.
"Don't kill anyone. This has already escalated too much; you can't continue like this!"
At this moment, Dream Source could no longer sit still. She rushed to Lin's side, anxiously grabbing his hand, feeling both panic and regret.
She shouldn't have allowed Lin to vent earlier; his hostility was too intense. After all, he had come from a battlefield where life and death were at stake—killing posed no pressure for him.
The two's pleas finally brought a glimmer of reason back to Lin. He breathed heavily, trying to adjust his emotions.
No one dared to disturb him; they quietly watched as Dream Source held onto his hand tightly, her eyes brimming with tears as she shook her head at him repeatedly.
Everyone knew that Lin had committed a grave mistake. Given their identities as students and the complex power dynamics behind them, injuring dozens or even hundreds of classmates was enough for Lin to be expelled from Wuyuan Star!
"Huh!"
He let out a heavy breath and waved his hand. The Swarm returned to him, swirling around the three of them.
Lin managed to suppress the anger boiling within him; he decided to hold back.
At the moment the Swarm retracted, not only did those students breathe a sigh of relief, but Dream Source also felt relieved, and even the onlookers nearby relaxed.
A dense crowd had gathered at the entrance of the School of Business, although no one knew exactly when it had formed. Everyone stood a hundred meters away from the battlefield, and the crowd continued to swell.
The situation had escalated; friends of the students were rushing over, and the opposing crowd was growing larger. In just a few minutes, over a thousand people had arrived.
It wasn't just these students causing such a commotion; the higher-ups from the Four Major Academies were also alerted. Teachers from the Commercial Institute were on their way, but these less capable instructors dared not speak up. They weakly shouted, "Students, don't fight!" before falling silent.
No one heeded their warnings. The situation was mixed with too many powerful forces, and many scions of prominent families disregarded the teachers entirely. To control this fight, it seemed only the Enforcers from the Four Major Academies could intervene.
As more people continued to arrive on that side, Lin's reinforcements finally showed up.
"Brother!"
"Brother!"
Two familiar voices called out from behind, causing Lin Xin to startle. He turned around to see Fatty's familiar face and Lu Liang's robust figure.
Along with them was a large group of people who surrounded Lin, each calling him "Brother," both male and female.
Looking around, Lin felt a bit emotional; some of these people he recognized as classmates from Cloud Star who had come with him, while others were friends who had rushed over upon hearing the news.
Most were Azure Planet People; being far from home, his closest ties were with his fellow countrymen.
"You all came."
After holding back for a moment, Lin managed to say this. Seeing this group warmed his heart and made him feel as if the burden on his shoulders had suddenly lightened; someone was there to help him carry it.
It was that anxious Fat Black Man, that furious Lu Liang, and those comrades from the training camp who had shared life-and-death experiences with him.
"Do you know what’s going on?"
Dream Source quickly stood up, wanting to explain everything to everyone. However, Fatty waved his hand and quietly said, "Dream Source, don’t worry about this. I don’t know what happened either, and I don’t need to know anything. Since my brother is surrounded, there’s no need to discuss right or wrong!"
"Yes, they want to mess with us? Then they're wrong; I've never been afraid of a fight!"
Lu Liang's handsome face twisted in anger as he spoke fiercely.
He bent down to help Lin up and signaled the people behind him to take the injured Xing Shifang to the back for treatment. They had come prepared, bringing along classmates trained in battlefield medicine.
"Look at my brother Shifang; he's been beaten to a pulp by those bastards. This matter isn't over, damn it! What are we waiting for? Who's afraid of whom?"
Fatty glanced at Xing Shifang, his anger intensifying. He waved his hand to push through the crowd in front of him and glared at the group across from them.
"Bro, leave it to us. Everyone here, many of us have fought alongside you on the edge of life and death in Cloud Star. Are we going to fight or not?"
Lu Liang turned back to rally his comrades.
"Fight!" "We must fight!" "Even if we can't study anymore, we have to fight!"
A thunderous cheer erupted from behind them. They were filled with the fiery spirit of the Azure Planet People, each one enraged by the pitiful state of Lin and Xing Shifang!
"They're outnumbered; are you scared?" Lu Liang shouted angrily.
"Scared of what? Have they ever killed anyone? I've killed more than a dozen Bloodfang members!"
At their age, full of vigor, they were most afraid of being outnumbered in a chaotic brawl. Even before the fight began, Lin was already ready to kill.
"Bro, let's go find a place!"
Lu Liang was no stranger to street fights; he had plenty of experience brawling with other schools in Azure Planet. He pulled Lin forward.
"No need to kill; they haven't gained anything from this. It's getting too big; you all should stay out of it. I'll handle it myself."
At this point, Lin had regained his composure. Frowning, he didn't want to drag his brothers and sisters into this mess. He shook his head and walked ahead alone.
No one was willing to back down. Wherever he went, the crowd followed. Although this group was small, only half of those across from them, each person glared with murderous intent.
As soon as they reached the other side, Fatty immediately resorted to his old tricks—provoking trouble.
"Hey, someone from across, send out a manager! You come out first to die; your brothers behind you will die too, and you can't blame anyone!"
Fatty's flesh quivered as he sneered at the people opposite him.
Next to him stood a fellow who looked like a panda. This guy was about the same size as Fatty, round and fluffy, covered in long hair, giving off a comical vibe. But once he opened his mouth, it was clear he was just as much of a troublemaker.
"Hey, you grandsons over there, come out and accept your death! Grandpa's cannon is getting restless!"
With that, the panda pulled out an oversized revolver from behind him and fired a shot at the ground in front of the crowd.
Boom!
The bullet compressed with force exploded on the ground, sending shards of stone flying everywhere.
The panda arrogantly blew away the nonexistent smoke from the gun and said to Fatty, "Look at this bunch of grandsons; they’re scared! My big grandson doesn’t dare come out!"
"You're right, Cat Lord. I think so too. With us old men standing here, these big grandsons must be so scared they’ll wet their pants. Who would dare come out and seek death?"
The two bantered back and forth like a comedy duo, laughing heartily at each other while being utterly arrogant.
