Anna was taken aback. Having grown up without understanding the concept of a mother, she was unsure how to respond when someone suddenly claimed they wanted to be her mother. 0

Seeing the expression on Anna's face, Han Yoon-soo released her hand. "I'm sorry, I was being too forward." 0

Anna smiled and said, "No, it's just that I feel so honored. It's just that Mr. Park Anqing doesn't seem to like my presence." 0

"It's okay; he has always been accommodating to me and won't oppose this. Also, if you truly like Chan-yeol, I will definitely help you," Han Yoon-soo said. "Then we can really become a legitimate family." 0

"Are you really willing to help us?" Anna asked hesitantly. 0

Han Yoon-soo nodded and said, "Yes, I will definitely help you, Anna. You can trust me." 0

Anna felt a mix of confusion and happiness. 0

"Alright, ma'am, I believe you," Anna replied. 0

Even after sending Han Yoon-soo off, Anna remained in a daze. This woman had seemed strange from the very beginning; now she had come directly to the company looking for Anna, chatting about so many things that were both random and emotional. Sometimes they would talk and cry, and other times they would laugh. 0

It left Anna feeling helpless and unsure of what exactly she wanted. 0

"Who was that?" Park Soo Eun happened to walk by and asked Anna. 0

Anna glanced at Han Yoon-soo, who was walking out of the SBS building, and replied, "A friend's mother." 0

Park Soo Eun stretched her neck to look and saw Han Yoon-soo getting into a super luxurious black Rolls-Royce. Her jaw nearly dropped. 0

"Wow, this lady is really wealthy! What does your friend do to have someone this rich?" 0

Anna glanced at her disdainfully and said, "Dream on, alright?" After that, she ignored her and continued walking toward the studio. 0

Park Soo Eun chased after her, "Hey, don't be so stingy. Just tell me, is it a guy or a girl? If it's a guy, introduce me. I would definitely like him; I'm still waiting to get married." 0

"Are you interested in that Rolls-Royce or the person you want to marry who you haven't even met yet..." Anna teased. 0

"I like both." 0

"Alright, you know my friend," Anna said. 0

"Who?" 0

"Dong Wan," Anna said with a mischievous smile. 0

"Go away..." Park Soo Eun slapped Anna playfully. 0

Anna nimbly dodged and quickly slipped into the studio. 0

"Hurry up, Anna. Why did you take so long to come back?" Dong Wan said. 0

Anna sat down next to him and saw a bag of Hallasan Oranges from Jeju Island on the table. A group of people was eating them one by one, but Miao PD was nowhere to be seen. 0

"Hey? Where's Miao PD?" Anna asked as she picked up an orange and began peeling it. She popped a segment into her mouth; it was incredibly sweet. 0

"Miao PD went to Mugyeongdong SBS for a meeting. The oranges were brought by Zhang Yuanxiao; we're all sharing them," Liu Quan Town said with a smile. 0

"You all took advantage of Miao PD being away to sneak snacks again," Anna joked, "but I like it." 0

"Hey, but you know, for this Christmas Special and the Year-End Special, from what Miao PD just said, it seems we each have to submit a creative proposal. With the upcoming selection of a new PD, could it be that Miao PD intends to use these two proposals as one of the evaluation criteria?" Dong Wan asked. 0

Han Yufei smiled slightly and said, "It's possible. This time, it really depends on everyone's true abilities." 0

"That's true, but hasn't every selection in Running Man always depended on true abilities?" Park Soo Eun retorted. 0

Han Yufei lowered her head and remained silent. 0

"However, since Dong Wan has been with Running Man the longest, he is definitely the most likely candidate," Zhang Yuanxiao said. 0

"That's not necessarily the case. Duration is one thing, but work capability is another. I think Anna has a better chance than I do. Besides, she always comes up with clever ideas; her creative proposal will surely be excellent," Dong Wan replied. 0

"Then that means my chances are even greater," Anna said shyly. 0

"However, I heard that next month two new FD members will be joining. It seems like the show has passed its previous low point and is getting better and better. The staff is becoming increasingly insufficient. If we add two more PDs, there will be hardly anyone left among the FDs. While you all are still FDs, they will definitely have you mentor the newcomers," Park Soo Eun said. 0

"In any case, everyone should work hard this time. Everyone has a chance; no matter who gets promoted, it's something to celebrate," Dong Wan said. 0

"Yeah." 0

Han Yufei smiled slightly but did not respond. 0

While there was no peace within Running Man, the Korean entertainment industry was equally restless. Just a year after debuting, the MESE group faced an unexpected contract termination request from Jang Bo-Yeon. The group was in a continuous upward trajectory and was a hot rookie team; such an incident was truly baffling. Moreover, it was evident that S.M. Company had been heavily promoting her, and she had consistently held the top position in popularity within the group. 0

Why? 0

She had not provided any response for now; she only filed a lawsuit against the company. 0

Although many people have chosen to terminate their contracts with S.M. Company over the years due to some unreasonable systems and distributions, those who have done so are artists who have already reached a mature position and height in their careers. Jang Bo-Yeon has only debuted for less than a year; while the group has achieved some good results, they are still far from reaching the pinnacle like Girls' Generation or f(x). 0

Why is this happening? It is truly puzzling. The journey from trainee to being accepted and loved by the public requires immense perseverance and hardship. Just when success seems within reach, she easily gives up the victory that was almost hers. When other artists leave, it may be attributed to unfair distribution or treatment issues, but Jang Bo-Yeon has made no statements. This action has led to criticism from everyone except her own fans, who are trying hard to support her. Why would someone as smart as her make such an unwise decision? 0

"Hey, you don't think she's been swept off her feet by some rich person and decided to leave the entertainment industry to get married, do you?" Dong Wan joked. 0

"That's impossible," Anna instinctively denied, knowing that Jang Bo-Yeon still has feelings for that person. 0

"How do you know?" Dong Wan replied skeptically. "By the way, I had originally suggested to Miao PD that MESE should participate in a show since they're so popular now. Oh? Wasn't Jang Bo-Yeon rumored to be involved with Park Chan-yeol? What happened to that?" 0

"It was just a rumor, so of course it fizzled out. Their company has always liked using this method to promote new artists," Zhang Yuanxiao said. 0

"Yeah, it seems like nothing came of it. Otherwise, look at how Park Chan-yeol hasn't made any statement regarding Jang Bo-Yeon; these rumors are just jokes," Dong Wan added. 0

Anna also laughed it off, although she found it strange that Park Chan-yeol hadn't called in two days and his phone was off when she tried to reach him. 0

Whenever strange thoughts crossed Anna's mind, she would forcefully try to dispel them; after all, it's most tragic to be troubled by trivial matters. There's no use in worrying; it's better to focus on her work. 0

The lunch at the staff cafeteria remained healthy yet bland. Anna took bites of plain rice while occasionally glancing at her phone beside her. Several times she thought she heard a notification sound; even though it was someone else's phone ringing, she eagerly picked hers up only to find the screen displaying just the time and date, leading her to put it down in disappointment. 0

"Sis, who are you waiting for? You're so anxious! Did you have a fight with Brother Kwangsoo?" Zhang Yuanxiao teased. 0

"Just eat your meal; stop talking so much," Anna replied. 0

"Regarding the Christmas Special and Year-End Special creative planning, Anna sis, do you have any good suggestions for me?" Zhang Yuanxiao asked. 0

"Creativity doesn't have a right or wrong; as long as it's something you've created yourself, it's good. Do you understand?" Anna said. 0

"What does it mean?" 0

"It means, think for yourself... I just managed to come up with a rough idea," Anna said. 0

"Wow, Sister Anna, you already thought of something? Can I take a look?" Zhang Yuanxiao asked. 0

"You shouldn't look at the specifics; I'm afraid it might restrict your thinking. However, I can share the general concept with you." 0

"What is it? Hurry up and tell me," Zhang Yuanxiao said excitedly. 0

"For the Christmas Special, I'm thinking of using Marvel's comic 'X-Men' as inspiration. Basically, Brother Jae-seok's character would be like Professor X, Sister Jihyo would be Model Woman, Jung Kook would be Magneto, Haha Brother would be Quicksilver, Brother Gary would be Wolverine, Brother Kwangsoo would be Nightcrawler, and Brother Stone... I'll think about that one later." 0

"Wow, it sounds like it could be really fun, but the production costs..." Zhang Yuanxiao said in surprise. 0

"Exactly, it's just an idea. Whether it's feasible or not depends on what Miao PD says." 0

"Have you finished writing the proposal?" 0

"I'm working on it; it's all saved on my computer but not completely finished yet," Anna said. 0

"That's impressive; I need to think hard about mine too." 0

"Good luck!" Anna said with a smile. 0

After discussing some ideas with Zhang Yuanxiao, Anna felt inspired and planned to incorporate her new thoughts into the partially written proposal. So she left her meal unfinished and returned to the studio to write everything down, fearing she might forget if she waited too long. To her surprise, instead of finding a quiet workspace during what should have been a break time, she saw Han Yufei walking out of the studio. Their eyes met, and both felt a bit awkward. 0

"Aren't you taking a break?" Anna asked. 0

"Oh, I have some things to organize, so I'm going to take a break now," Han Yufei said with a smile and then walked into the break room. 0

Anna didn't think much of it and entered the studio, turning on her computer. The creative document was password-protected, so nothing dramatic was likely to happen. 0

Anna opened the file and continued adding new text to her original ideas. 0

After a busy day, when she returned home, she was extremely hungry. She checked her phone and saw that there were still no missed calls. Anna tried calling again, and this time it went through, but no one answered until the end. 0

Feeling somewhat disappointed, she stood up. There were vegetarian dumplings in the fridge, so she boiled a few. After taking a bite, she lost her appetite. Indeed, when one is eating, they shouldn't have other thoughts; if they do, they can't focus on the food. 0

What is the worst feeling? The worst feeling is this kind of silence. Once upon a time, Andy was like this too—vanishing inexplicably and returning as a completely different person. Strange and frightening. It’s unfortunate that during his absence, she felt powerless; she couldn't participate in anything or sense his changing emotions and could only ultimately accept an outcome that was hard to bear. 0

Is it happening again? 0

Ding~~ A text message sound; the screen finally lit up. Anna quickly put down her chopsticks and picked up her phone. The name flashing on the screen was Park Chan-yeol. 0

Eagerly, she opened the message: "I'm fine; I'll call you later." 0

Anna hurriedly replied, "Is something wrong?" and pressed send. 0

She waited and waited as the steam from the dumplings slowly dissipated until they were completely cold. Still, there was no sound from her phone again. Anna sighed, stood up, poured the dumplings into the trash can, and placed the plate in the sink. She had no mood to wash them; she'd do it tomorrow instead. She turned back to her bedroom and lay down on the bed. 0

Since you want me to wait, then I will quietly wait for your reply. 0

As long as it's not bad news, as long as your response remains positive and beautiful, that would be enough. 0

She turned on the TV; no matter which channel it was, it brought some sound into the room so that she wouldn't be left in silence with her wandering thoughts. 0

It was a rare Monday filming day that didn’t require an early wake-up, as preparations would start on Monday night, and recording would begin early Tuesday morning with the members and guests entering the building. Therefore, it was only natural to sleep directly at the recording preparation site that night. 0

This wasn’t the first time; aside from feeling a bit cold, Park Soo Eun had managed to snag Dong Wan's sleeping bag. Anna and Park Soo Eun huddled together, which made it much warmer. 0

From a distance, Han Yufei seemed to be discussing something with Miao PD. A wave of drowsiness hit Anna, and she quickly closed her eyes, falling into a deep sleep. 0

Before she knew it, she seemed to have walked into a forest again, with the sound of flowing water nearby. Following the stream, she moved forward slowly. One step took her to January, where the ice and snow had yet to melt. In February, the branches faintly showed budding leaves, a hint of green. By March, there was a Heavy Rain, and then in April, the ground was covered with blue irises. In May, it felt like an encounter; they faced each other and smiled, but when she looked again, she couldn’t clearly see who it was. In June, fragrant grass bloomed as she inhaled the floral scent. In July, you said you would leave while I waited for your return in the wheat field. August came, and I happily reclaimed lost time. In September and October, her eyes were filled with an ocean of blue as you stood in the center of it. Then through November's window, she saw December's heavy snow swirling around. 0

Amidst the heavy snow, there was an unknown thirteenth month—eternity. 0

Feeling a bit cold, it seemed like snowflakes from December were landing on her face. 0

Step by step, she walked through the seasons and cycles; it was such a wonderful feeling... 0

“Hey... Anna, what are you smiling about? Time to get up for work...” Suddenly hearing Park Soo Eun's voice in her dream. 0

Opening her eyes, there were no seasons, no forest, no snowflakes, nor an eternal thirteenth month. 0

“Oh, got it.” Anna’s voice was a bit hoarse from just waking up as she unzipped her sleeping bag. Most people were already preparing for filming; Lee Kwang-soo’s car had arrived particularly early today. However, according to regulations, he could only stay in the car until 6 AM before entering. 0

“Anna, please go over the process with Kwang-soo. But keep details about the guests confidential, understood?” Miao PD said to Anna, handing her some documents. 0

“Okay, I understand.” Anna replied as she took the documents but couldn’t help yawning again. 0

“Stay alert; we’re short on staff today and want you to follow Brother Jae-seok.” Miao PD said seriously. 0

Anna quickly blinked hard to shake off her fatigue; tears of weariness hung in her eyes which she wiped away and said: “I got it, Miao PD, I’m fine.” 0

Miao PD smiled at her and said, "I originally wanted you to follow Kwang-soo for the shoot, but Brother Jae-seok is more important, so I'm handing it over to you. Besides, I was worried you and Kwang-soo would get too caught up in your romance." 0

Anna smiled shyly and replied, "Not at all, Miao PD." 0

"Alright, off you go," Miao PD said. 0

Anna nodded, holding the documents as she exited the building. The cold wind made her shiver involuntarily. The branches by the roadside had nearly shed all their leaves, leaving the street bare. It seemed winter was approaching once again. Anna recalled the fantastical dream she had last night; it was far more beautiful than reality. 0

As she opened the car door, she was startled to see Lee Kwang-soo lying in the seat, chatting on his phone with someone unknown. He quickly tucked his phone away. 0

"Anna... what are you doing here?" Lee Kwang-soo asked with an awkward smile. "Come on in; it's getting cold outside." 0

Seeing his expression, Anna knew he must be up to something mischievous again. She rolled her eyes at him and got into the car, closing the door behind her. She noticed that his assistant was nowhere to be seen; it was just Lee Kwang-soo alone. 0

"Where's your assistant?" Anna asked. 0

"He had something to take care of at home. I told him to drop me off here and then leave," Lee Kwang-soo replied with a smile. "What do you need me for?" 0

"I wanted to go over the general process for today's recording," Anna said as she opened the documents. "The first segment is the Name Tag Ripping battle. You can start entering from six o'clock; it's in this nearby building. I can't disclose who the guests are yet, but there won't be any lovelines today or anything particularly special to note. Just follow the game rules announced later and aim to win the individual championship." Anna mumbled as she looked down at her notes, still feeling a bit groggy from lack of sleep. 0

"You didn't sleep well, did you?" Kwang-soo teased. 0

"How did you know?" Anna asked in confusion. 0

"Just look in the mirror; you must know yourself. Your hair is a mess, and it looks like there's some sleep in your eyes. How could I not notice?" Lee Kwang-soo said. 0

Anna quickly took out her phone and used its faint reflection to check her face. She hastily ran her fingers through her hair and wiped away the dirt from the corner of her eyes. 0

"Hey, why didn't you say it earlier?" Anna glared at Lee Kwang-soo. 0

"You didn't ask me either," Lee Kwang-soo replied innocently. 0

As they exchanged words, Anna noticed Kim Jong Kook's car slowly approaching. She wanted to get out of the car. "I can't talk to you anymore; I need to go tell Jung Kook." 0

"Then I'll go with you," Lee Kwang-soo said, following her. 0

"Why are you coming along?" Anna shot him a disdainful glance. 0

"Why can't I come? It's not like I'm getting in your car," Lee Kwang-soo ignored Anna and got into Kim Jong Kook's car first. 0

What was originally mutual disdain and teasing appeared to outsiders as a couple playfully bickering, evoking envy. 0

"Wow... their relationship is really good... I'm so jealous..." Zhang Yuanxiao said, mouth agape and looking dazed. 0

"You little brat," Dong Wan smacked him on the head. 0

Zhang Yuanxiao jumped in surprise, snapping back to reality. 0

"Hurry up and focus on your work. You're still young; if you don't work hard, you'll just be busy envying others," Dong Wan teased him. 0

"But didn't you just look at them with envy a moment ago?" Zhang Yuanxiao muttered quietly, rubbing his head. 0

"Who said I was looking?" Dong Wan weakly retorted. 0
