"How could you...?!" Seeing Anna appear in the office at this hour, Zhao PD angrily scolded her, but as soon as the words left his mouth, he took them back, and everyone was startled.
Anna stood at the door, drenched from the rain, her gaze somewhat vacant, trembling all over.
"Anna, what happened to you?" Park Soo Eun rushed over from her seat and pulled her down to sit, saying, "Are you crazy? It's raining and you didn't use an umbrella. You're as cold as a corpse!"
Dong Wan brought over a coat for her to put on.
Anna snapped back to reality, looked at everyone, stood up, and said to Zhao PD, "I'm sorry, Zhao PD. Please give me the appropriate punishment."
Zhao PD felt a bit troubled, but there are company regulations after all. He nodded and asked, "Anna, what exactly happened? If it's too much for you, I can allow you to take a few days off."
"No need!" Anna shook her head vigorously and said, "Please don't give me time off. I'm going to work right now."
"Can you really work in this state?" Zhao PD asked.
"I can do it. Don't worry."
Zhao PD glanced at Miao PD, and they exchanged understanding looks. Miao PD said, "Anna, you can work with me and Li Zhen on the subtitles. This part is something you haven't had much exposure to; it will be a good opportunity for you to learn."
"Okay," Anna nodded.
"But first, you need to dry yourself off before coming back to work. Our equipment can't get wet," Miao PD said.
"Okay, I understand," Anna said.
Miao PD gave Park Soo Eun a knowing glance, and Park Soo Eun understood, leading Anna to an empty Dressing Room. She brought out a purple tracksuit that Ji-hyo had worn before for Anna to change into.
"What are you doing? Why do you look so disheveled? You scared me!" Park Soo Eun leaned against the wall, examining the haggard Anna.
Anna smiled lightly, her lips slightly cracked, and said, "It's nothing, just got caught in the rain to wake myself up."
"Oh come on, stop lying. You workaholic, you’re always the one who stays late and never arrives late. And today you didn’t even answer Zhao PD's calls. You have no idea how angry Zhao PD is. You say you're fine? No one believes that," Park Soo Eun shot her a glance.
Anna looked at her and said, "Even if there were issues before, there won’t be any in the future."
"Did you break up?" Park Soo Eun asked suspiciously.
"No, stop guessing," Anna replied as she finished changing. "Let's go, we need to get back to work."
Subtitling is one of the three essential elements of a program; it is a crucial part. The creativity and word usage of the subtitle team must be just right—too much will overshadow the video itself and leave no room for the audience's imagination, while too little will fail to effectively convey the atmosphere of a scene.
The purpose of subtitles is to provide appropriate explanations and highlight key moments in games and comedic points.
Anna felt a bit of a headache, perhaps due to being caught in the rain, but she still carefully noted Miao PD's and Li Zhen's techniques for adding subtitles.
"Once we finish this today, we can relax for two days. The Asian Tour video only needs the opening and closing segments edited together; we can leave that to Xu Minshu and his team," Miao PD said with a smile. It had been over a month since filming for the Asian Tour began, and after continuous overtime work day after day, they were finally able to complete it today.
"Is it time to rest?" Dong Wan asked excitedly.
"Yes, everyone will have a break tomorrow and the day after, but after that, we need to get back into the spirit for new filming," Zhao PD said.
Everyone cheered softly in agreement.
The weather was getting colder, and summer was about to leave completely. Still wearing Ji-hyo's sportswear, Anna returned home to find Park Chan-yeol missing. Only Andy was sitting on the usual spot on the sofa, reading a newspaper.
"You're back, Miss Anna? Why are you dressed like this? You look so pale," Andy greeted her as usual upon seeing Anna return home.
"I got caught in the rain, so I wore the clothes that Sister Jihyo used to wear," Anna replied with a smile. "When did you get back?"
"This afternoon. What's wrong?" Andy closed the newspaper.
"Oh, nothing."
Hearing Andy's response, Anna realized that by the time he returned, Park Chan-yeol had already left.
"I'm a bit tired; I'm going to sleep now," Anna said as she slowly walked towards the bedroom on the second floor. When she reached her bedroom door, she glanced at the adjacent room and paused. She opened the door; everything inside was tidy as if no one had been there. Gently closing the door behind her, Anna returned to her own room.
Andy quietly observed everything out of the corner of his eye and smiled slightly.
