"Anna, please help retrieve the small cameras set up on the beach," Zhao PD said. Anna agreed and quickly got up to tidy up. Everyone was busy organizing their things. Zhao PD and a group had already finished packing, boarded the speedboat, changed clothes at the hotel, grabbed their luggage, and were heading straight to catch their evening flight to Beijing.
The remaining people stayed behind to wrap things up. Miao PD and Anna were scheduled to take the flight the next morning to meet up with Zhao PD and the others. This was not a big deal, but Anna felt some unease about traveling with Miss Choi again, sensing that something might go wrong.
Finally, they finished packing, first loading the filming equipment onto the speedboat and covering it with waterproof cloth to prevent water damage. The other crew members began boarding the boat one after another. There was a stretch of beach covered in broken shells that hurt to walk on. Anna's knee, which hadn't fully healed, made it difficult for her to walk that distance. Lee Kwang-soo happened to be right behind her, joking a bit before taking the items from Anna's hands and helping her onto the speedboat.
After a bumpy ride, as they approached the port, it started to rain again. The rain blew into the cabin along with strong sea winds, giving everyone goosebumps from the sudden chill. Fortunately, they were about to disembark, and once inside the car, it wouldn't be much of an issue.
Finally on land, everyone hurriedly grabbed their belongings and headed toward the parking lot, getting drenched in the rain and looking quite disheveled.
"Oh no," Miss Choi exclaimed in panic. Everyone stopped in unison, wanting to know what had happened.
"What’s wrong, Miss Choi?" Miao PD asked.
Miss Choi looked like a startled bird as she searched through her bag frantically and then said, "I left my phone on the island. It has many contact details for artists on it; if someone finds it, we’ll be in trouble."
"Are you sure you left it on the island?" Miao PD asked.
Miss Choi nodded.
"Oh, it's okay. I'll call the person in charge of Blue Diamond Island right now and ask them to keep it safe and send it to the hotel," Miao PD said.
Unexpectedly, Miss Choi looked unhappy and said, "When will he deliver it?"
"Once Blue Diamond finishes work over there, it should be delivered by tonight."
"That won't do. Who knows what they'll do with my phone for such a long time? We need to go get it ourselves for peace of mind."
Miao PD frowned, feeling somewhat displeased, but he knew well that losing an artist's phone was no small matter.
"How about this? I heard that Miss Anna has been there before and is probably more familiar with the place." Miss Choi walked over, took Anna's hand, and gently shook it, pleading, "Miss Anna, could you please help me go get it? I would really appreciate it."
Anna felt extremely awkward and didn't know how to respond when Brother Jae-seok said, "Miss Choi, Anna is still a girl; it's not good for her to go alone. How about this?" Jae-seok glanced at Kwon Ryeol beside him and suggested, "Let Kwon Ryeol go."
Kwon Ryeol looked innocent, but seeing the drenched Anna, he had no choice but to say, "Fine, I'll go."
Miss Choi nodded and shyly said, "That's fine, but after all, I'm also a girl, and there are definitely things on my phone that I wouldn't want a guy to see..."
At that moment, everyone internally cursed a thousand times, thinking: What the hell did you put on your phone that you wouldn't want men to see!
Seeing everyone looking troubled, Anna had no choice but to say, "I'll just go."
Miao PD wanted to retain her and said, "Anna..."
"It's okay, Miao PD. I'll be back soon." Anna smiled.
Miss Choi revealed a beautiful smile and gratefully said to Anna, her voice incredibly sweet, "Thank you, Miss Anna, thank you so much."
Anna maintained a polite smile and replied, "It's no problem."
Anna looked at the other concerned staff members who were smiling and said, "Don't worry everyone, I'll be back soon."
"Be careful."
Anna nodded, turned to head back to the boat, and waved goodbye to everyone. As the speedboat started moving, everyone let out a collective sigh and continued walking toward the parking lot. Watching the speedboat grow smaller in the distance, Miss Choi displayed a satisfied smile. She secretly took out her phone to check that it was on silent mode before placing it back into a hidden compartment of her bag, happily catching up with the others.
