No one expected that Miss Choi, who was thought to have left the filming site, would coincidentally return due to some matters and see Kwang-soo and Anna playfully teasing each other. Naturally, she was extremely displeased. This feeling of discontent was even more pronounced the next day.
The next day's mission on Blue Diamond Island required individual completion. Just as filming was about to start, Anna suddenly couldn't find Miss Choi. The entire crew was waiting for her alone, and as nearly an hour passed with no response to calls and no sign of her, Miss Choi leisurely walked out of the restaurant. Upon seeing everyone waiting for her, before anyone could speak, she feigned surprise, widening her eyes and saying, "Oh my, is everyone waiting to start filming?"
"Yes, we've been waiting for almost an hour. Didn't you know we were supposed to start at nine o'clock?" Zhao PD asked.
Miss Choi innocently shook her head and replied, "I didn't know! Miss Anna Zheng clearly told me we were starting at ten."
Hearing this, everyone's gaze turned sharply towards Anna, who looked incredulously at Miss Choi.
"Alright, everyone prepare to start filming. Miss Choi, please take your position," Zhao PD instructed.
As the program recording began, Miss Choi switched into her angel mode again. Anna felt utterly wronged. Zhao PD approached with a serious expression and asked, " Anna, what exactly is going on?"
"Zhao PD, I did tell her it was nine o'clock," Anna responded.
"Then why does she remember it as ten? I know that Miss Choi doesn't have the best personality, but from what I know of her, she wouldn't randomly accuse someone without reason. What benefit would it bring her to accuse you?" Zhao PD said.
"Zhao PD, I swear, I really don't understand why she would lie. I definitely didn't tell her the wrong time; I confirmed the entire process multiple times," Anna insisted.
"Alright, let's not dwell on this. I'm not blaming you; I just hope you'll be more careful next time. Now get back to work," Zhao PD said.
Anna felt frustrated and helpless. She really wanted to know what she had done to offend this young lady. Thinking about having to work with this person for so many days made Anna feel overwhelmed with distress.
Surprisingly, Miss Choi was exceptionally cooperative today, fulfilling all the PD's requests for the games. She was fully engaged during the activities, contributing to a fantastic show. Whether it was going bare-faced, falling into the water, tripping, or competing fiercely, she handled everything effortlessly, making her seem like a completely different person compared to yesterday. However, this only reinforced the impression that Anna had miscommunicated the schedule.
As they approached the final scene of filming, thanks to Miss Choi's sudden enthusiasm, Jae-seok's team secured first place. Even the staff felt that Miss Choi performed exceptionally well today. Park Soo Eun noticed that Anna seemed a bit down and walked over to ask, "What's wrong?"
Anna shook her head; after all, there was no way to explain what had happened today.
"Actually, nobody really likes Miss Choi, but we have to work together," Park Soo Eun said.
Anna frowned and seriously replied, "Sister, I really didn't get the time wrong. I don't understand why this is happening."
Park Soo Eun looked into Anna's eyes and became serious as well. "I believe you, but others may not see it that way. Remember, nothing is more important than ensuring the filming goes smoothly. If Miss Choi is indeed targeting you intentionally, then what you need to focus on next is how to manage your relationship with her and the filming."
Anna felt powerless to argue; Park Soo Eun's words were reasonable. She felt a bit wronged but could only nod in agreement.
Park Soo Eun patted her shoulder and said nothing more.
