"Wow, Sister, your alcohol tolerance is really impressive," Anna admired as she looked at Ji-hyo.
Due to the drinking, Ji-hyo's face was slightly flushed as she said, "It's no big deal."
Haha joked, "If Ji-hyo gets drunk later, everyone should keep their distance; otherwise, you might get hit."
"Not at all, Haha Brother, I won't get drunk," Ji-hyo replied.
Anna couldn't drink because she was still on medication, but if she could, she would definitely want to drink happily with Sister Jihyo. Seeing the table full of delicious grilled seafood sparked her appetite, and she began to eat on her own.
From a distance, she spotted one of the two female guests who would be filming together this time, Miss Choi, walking by with her assistant, who was carrying a bag full of shopping. Even at night, Miss Choi looked radiant.
"Hello," Anna stood up to greet her and said, "Would you like to join us for some food?"
Everyone turned to the guest and asked, "Miss Choi, would you like to join us?"
They expected Miss Choi to be gentle and charming like in the dramas, but to their surprise, she glanced at the food on the table and wrinkled her nose in disdain. "Oh dear, this looks so dirty; I think I'll pass. I'm afraid I might have an allergic reaction."
Everyone instantly didn't know how to respond; their expressions stiffened as the atmosphere dropped to freezing point. Park Soo Eun frowned in annoyance while Kwon Ryeol shot her a glance. Park Soo Eun had no choice but to hold back and remained silent.
Seeing everyone's reactions, Miss Choi seemed to realize she had misspoken. Covering her mouth with a smile, she said, "Oh, I'm sorry; I think I said something wrong. It's just that I have to go back to filming a drama and can't take any risks." After saying that, she walked over to Kwang-soo with a smile, her voice suddenly turning gentle as she asked, "Brother Kwangsoo, would you like to join me for some other late-night snacks?"
Kwang-soo pressed his lips together and smiled at her, saying, "No need, Miss Choi." He raised the grilled oyster in his hand and waved it in front of Miss Choi, startling her so much that she took a step back. Kwang-soo then added, "I just like dirty things."
Everyone watched her startled expression and lowered their heads to suppress their laughter. Miss Choi huffed in annoyance and quickly turned to leave. However, upon seeing some fans at the door, she quickly put on a slight smile, changed to an elegant stride, and even asked her assistant if she needed help carrying anything. The assistant, being considerate, replied, "No, thank you. The items aren't heavy." Miss Choi seemed satisfied and nodded before gradually walking away.
"Ashi, this woman really is..." Park Soo Eun finally voiced her displeasure.
"Kwang-soo, well done," Ji-hyo said with a smile.
Haha grinned mischievously and said, "Kwang-soo, why don't you want to go with her? Afraid she'll eat you?"
Kwang-soo replied, "Hey, bro, I'm afraid I won't be able to eat anything while looking at her."
Anna also laughed and said, "Even Brother Kwangsoo can't handle it."
Kwang-soo looked at Anna with disdain and said, "Anna Zheng, is it appropriate for you to say that about your brother?"
Everyone teased Kwang-soo back and burst into laughter.
"I just hope this shoot with her goes smoothly; let's not have any unexpected issues," Park Seok said.
That's true; although encountering such artists isn't new, every time they meet someone like this on a show, the filming never goes smoothly.
"What's going on with Zhao PD this time? Why choose such an artist as a guest for such an important long-term special? Although she's acted in many dramas, this is just too..." Park Soo Eun remarked.
"I heard it's pressure from above. Her mother is a government official, and her father is an executive at Century Group, so you understand," Kwon Ryeol sighed helplessly.
Everyone understood but knew better than to say anything more. They silently hoped that this shoot would go smoothly.
