"Where have you been?! Where have you been?! You little brat!" Anna hugged Andy. It had been two years, and she didn't know how each day had passed. Every time she hoped the call she made would connect, she also feared that one day when Andy suddenly called, it would be with bad news. She missed him, longing for him like a madwoman, and was angry because of his long disappearance. She cried out, releasing the emotions she had suppressed for so long. 0

"Didn't I come back?" Andy smiled, but his tone was very calm. There was a hint of weariness and composure on his face as he wiped away Anna's tears. "I'm back." 0

"Do you know how long I've been looking for you?! How much I missed you?! How scared I was that if you died, I wouldn't even know?! I'm afraid that my only remaining family in this world won't come back! I'm afraid you would just suddenly die like father did!" 0

Andy gently patted Anna's back. If it weren't for Anna being born two hours earlier than Andy, he would seem more like her older brother. Especially now, with his expensive tailored suit and calm demeanor, he no longer had the childish innocence he once had; it was as if he had emerged from a cocoon. 0

"Don't worry, I won't leave again. Never again," Andy said. 0

Anna nodded vigorously, holding tightly onto this long-lost loved one, fearing that it was all just an illusion and that he might disappear again if she wasn't careful. "Yes, yes, it's good that you're back, it's good that you're back..." Anna kept saying as if constantly confirming the fact that Andy had returned. 0

Anna wiped her nose and tears away as she looked at Andy in front of her. Suddenly, she felt he had matured a lot, so much so that he seemed somewhat unfamiliar. What had he gone through to achieve such transformation? Anna asked, "Where have you been these past two years? Did you suffer a lot?" 0

"It wasn't really suffering; I just told myself that I had to succeed, even if it cost me my life." Andy smiled slightly, with a barely perceptible light in his eyes. "In any case, I now belong to Century Group, and there I report directly to Jin Yu Cheng." 0

Anna's eyes widened in surprise. "Jin Yu Cheng? Century Group? Is that the largest business group in Korea that we often see in the news?" 0

"Yes," Andy nodded with a smile. 0

Anna certainly knew what Jin Yu Cheng and Century Group represented in Korea—the largest chaebol. It wasn't an exaggeration to say that if Century Group collapsed, the entire economic circle of Korea would face collapse as well. Moreover, the direction of Century Group often dictated the political landscape in Korea. Confused, Anna asked, "How did you get into Century Group? And directly under Jin Yu Cheng?" 0

Andy pondered and said, "It's a coincidence; it's hard to explain in just a few words." 0

Anna noticed he was reluctant to elaborate and didn't press further. She asked, "By the way, why haven't you answered my calls? Why won't you let me know where you are?" 0

"Work demands it, and the timing isn't right," Andy still didn't give a direct answer. 0

Anna felt a bit sad. The old Andy would have complained to her for ages even about a stomach ache. She said, "Andy, you used to tell me everything." 0

Andy smiled and replied, "I'm an adult now; I know how to handle things with discretion. Trust me, don't worry." 0

With no other choice, Anna could only nod. Does growing up necessarily mean having secrets from each other? Is it truly growth, or has time and distance created an imperceptible barrier between them? 0
