Dong Wan brought a late-night snack and placed one portion in front of Anna, who was focused on organizing her notes.
"Eat something first. We have to pull an all-nighter," Dong Wan said.
Seeing the late-night snack that Dong Wan had brought, Anna smiled and replied, "Thank you, Dong Wan. It's okay, I'm almost done."
"You did pretty well today; I heard it from Haha's VJ," Dong Wan commented.
"Not really," Anna said as she finally finished organizing her notes, only to realize that her entire hand was swollen and red. She quickly hid her hand behind her back, afraid others would notice.
"Hurry up and eat something," Dong Wan urged.
"Okay," Anna replied, setting her notes aside. She was extremely hungry and began to wolf down the rice.
"Slow down while eating," Dong Wan advised.
Anna smiled sheepishly and said, "It's fine; I'm used to it."
After finishing the late-night snack, the last filming session was completed. Everyone was preparing to wrap up when Anna went to grab her original notes beside her, only to suddenly realize they were missing. It felt like a thunderbolt struck above her head; she instantly broke out in a cold sweat and stood up to search around.
"What's wrong?" Seeing her look of panic, Dong Wan asked in confusion.
"My notes are missing," Anna's mind felt like it had been struck by lightning.
"Where did you put them?" Dong Wan frowned.
"They were right here. How could they just disappear?" Anna's face turned pale.
"Let's look again," Dong Wan said, helping to search, but it was all so sudden.
Everyone was busy wrapping up, the place was in disarray, and where could they find a small notebook? Perhaps someone had taken it by mistake.
"Anna, Dong Wan, hurry up! We need to head back to the headquarters for editing," Miao PD shouted at the exit for Anna and Dong Wan.
"It's fine, don't worry about it. Just think back on the recording process during the ride; it will be okay," Dong Wan said.
Anna hesitated a bit.
"Come on!" Miao PD was getting anxious; everyone was already waiting in the car. "We're just waiting for you two. What are you dragging your feet for?"
"Okay, we're coming," Dong Wan replied, pulling Anna toward the car.
Lee Kwang-soo saw everything unfold. He initially wanted to help but remembered Anna's request and ultimately chose to remain silent. After Anna left, he returned to his own car.
The video editing began, with everyone working on their edits according to the notes they had organized.
Only Anna was empty-handed. Whenever it came to the key scenes of Haha Brother, she had to rely on her memory to describe them.
Zhao PD frowned at the scene and expressed some displeasure, "Anna, where are your notes? Also, what happened to your hand?"
The studio fell silent, all eyes turned towards Anna. Some looked worried, while others seemed to be enjoying the spectacle. Anna felt as if she were sitting on pins and needles. Although she had memorized the filming process and had already reviewed her notes several times, she knew that PD might be angry for not having them.
She couldn't understand why someone would want to make things difficult for her, forcing her into a predicament.
However, she couldn't allow herself to stumble right as her dreams were beginning to take shape, nor did she want those who disliked her to succeed in their schemes.
"My notes disappeared after I organized them, but I have memorized everything I wrote down," Anna said.
"Hmph, what a boast without any basis. I don't believe she can remember all the details from such a long shoot," someone scoffed.
Zhao PD's expression darkened. To avoid disrupting the workflow, he could only suppress his frustration: "Alright. Let's continue."
Time passed slowly, and the sky outside gradually brightened. Everyone began to feel exhausted. However, as Anna fluently responded about the key editing points of Haha for several hours, everyone gradually fell silent.
The gloom on PD's face also slowly dissipated.
