Chapter Four Hundred and Seven: 0

'Puff.' 0

It sounded as if something had fallen into the water. 0

As Freya entered the gap between worlds, her vision was initially filled with white mist, which gradually began to dissipate. 0

When her sight became completely clear, she found herself in what seemed to be an endless green field. 0

The sky was gray and empty, with nothing in sight. 0

The surroundings were silent; apart from the many weeds on the ground, there was no sign of life. 0

Looking at this unfamiliar scene, Freya frowned slightly, as it seemed different from what she had imagined. 0

"Could I be in the wrong place?" She glanced around but quickly dismissed the thought. "No, that's not it. Although it's very secluded, I can smell the scent of a place I've been before, not far from here. Besides, the gap between worlds is much narrower than a complete world; there's no way I could have ended up in the wrong location. Could it be that something unusual has occurred in the former Ruined World?" 0

After standing still for a moment to sense her surroundings, Freya extended her right hand and gently waved it. 0

'Hiss' 0

The Azure wind mixed with Reconnaissance Seed floated away like powder towards the distance and soon disappeared from view. 0

After a long while, Freya suddenly turned her gaze to the left, as if she had discovered something. 0

'Swish!' 0

A silver halo flashed by, and she vanished from her spot. 0

On a low hillside, Freya's figure abruptly appeared. 0

Below the hillside was a simple farm, with two warehouse-like buildings and a large windmill beside them. 0

There was not a breath of wind, yet the blades of the windmill slowly turned, making a soft creaking sound. 0

On the other side of the windmill stood an ordinary duplex building that seemed to be used for living. 0

In front of the building was a fenced square area, where crops resembling radishes were planted. 0

"Is this the place?" 0

Looking at the enormous windmill with confusion, Freya had no recollection of it at all. 0

However, based on the feedback from her senses, her aura was indeed coming from that direction. 0

After pondering for a moment, she walked down the hillside towards the farm. 0

Her boots made a faint rustling sound as they stepped on the grass. Freya's gaze wandered around the farm, her azure eyes occasionally flashing with a hint of green light. 0

"Although the rules are somewhat incomplete, this is indeed a gap at the edge of the Wizarding World. It’s just as I thought—there are no living creatures here. So how did this farm come to be?" 0

Freya approached the giant windmill and noticed that in its center was a decaying wooden door. Slightly ajar, it revealed a glimpse of a rotating wooden wheel inside. 0

After thinking for a moment, she reached out and pushed open the wooden door that carried her aura. 0

Creak. 0

As the door opened, inside there was nothing but the massive wheel connecting to the windmill and scattered wheat stalks on the ground, along with some peculiar footprints. 0

Just as Freya was about to enter the windmill to investigate, a faint breeze suddenly blew past her from behind. 0

"Who’s there?!" 0

She suddenly turned her head and looked behind her. 0

There, a Gray Rabbit dressed in gray linen stood, looking at her with a fearful expression. 0

The rabbit was holding a wooden fork, seemingly its weapon. 0

"Who are you? Why are you in my farm?" 0

The rabbit trembled as it spoke a standard Ancient Elvish Language, which made Freya pause for a moment. 0

In her view, this creature's physique was no different from an ordinary rabbit, not even resembling the magical forest races of the Wizarding World, yet it could talk, and in standard Ancient Elvish Language, a rare spellcasting language. 0

Freya's moment of distraction seemed to confuse the rabbit. It boldly raised the wooden fork towards Freya and repeated what it had just said. 0

After a pause, Freya raised her head and pointed questioningly at the windmill and two warehouses behind her. 0

"You are. This is your farm." 0

"That's right, stranger. I advise you to leave quickly, or..." The rabbit seemed to muster its courage to continue. "Or I will set the dogs on you!" 0

"Oh? Is that so?" Freya looked at this creature with an amused expression, trying to soften her tone. "I am just a lost traveler who accidentally ended up here. So, Mr. Rabbit, could you tell me where this place is? Is there a way out?" 0

"You are a lost person?" Mr. Rabbit seemed very naive, gradually lowering the wooden fork in its hand. 0

"Of course, absolutely." Freya replied earnestly. 0

"Oh, then you are truly unfortunate to be lost here." Mr. Rabbit sighed and completely put away the wooden fork sympathetically. "Well, I will tell you, this place is Misty Fields. To get out of here, you must find the Question-Answer Spring. Otherwise, you will never be able to leave." 0

"Misty Fields? Question-Answer Spring?" Freya pondered these unfamiliar terms and then asked, "So if I find that Question-Answer Spring, I can leave?" 0

"Yes, but it will ask you a question. If you answer correctly, it will take you out." Mr. Rabbit said matter-of-factly. "Of course, you can also offer something to ask it a question, but whether the answer is correct or not is uncertain." 0

"Is that so? That truly is a magical spring," Freya said, listening to Mr. Rabbit's introduction of the spring, feeling a sense of familiarity as if she had heard it somewhere before. 0

After a pause, she continued, "Do you know where the Question-Answer Spring is? I will give you some delicious seeds as a reward." 0

"Seeds?" Mr. Rabbit's eyes lit up at Freya's offer. "Show me what you've got." 0

With a slight smile, Freya pulled out a brown seed from her pouch and handed it to the rabbit's fluffy paw. 0

"This is a tree seed that can bear Milk-Flavored Fruit. If your information is correct, I will give you some other flavored seeds as well." 0

"Milk? Bob loves milk!" The rabbit placed the seed on its pink nose and took a deep breath, savoring the aroma. "Oh~ it really does smell like milk." 0

After quite a while, its nose finally left the seed. 0

"Alright, for the sake of milk, I'll tell you," Mr. Rabbit said cautiously, placing the seed in his close pocket. "The Question-Answer Spring really likes the sound of Cocoa Birds. If you can find a group of Cocoa Birds, you should be close to a Question-Answer Spring." 0

With that, bright stars seemed to flash in his eyes as he extended his hand. "Oh~ oh~ what flavor of seeds will you give me next, lost traveler?" 0

"I think I want to know something now. Thank you for your answer, Mr. Rabbit." 0

With a smile, Freya tossed a handful of seeds into the rabbit's hands and then turned to leave the shabby farm. 0

The rabbit, filled with joy after receiving the seeds, took a deep breath from his palm and with a 'bang,' fell straight to the ground. 0

His fluffy cheeks were flushed as if he were drunk. 0

"Good wine! Bob loves wine." 0

Not paying attention to what happened behind her, Freya looked out over the entire green field with narrowed eyes. 0

"If I'm not mistaken, this should be a Spatial Bubble in between worlds. Although it resembles an interstice, both the composition of space and the rules within are quite different from those of an interstice. Therefore, that Question-Answer Spring should be the exit of this bubble." 0

Freya did not know how she accidentally ended up here; it might be because the residual information from her previous location was automatically drawn into this place due to the changes in the World Rift. 0

Moreover, the stability of the Spatial Bubble is even worse than that of the World Rift. A slight increase in power could easily rupture this place. 0

If there were no exit at that time, even the current Freya might perish here. 0

"When I used Time Power earlier, it seemed like nothing happened, but it's better to be cautious." 0

Muttering to herself, Freya waved her hand, and a cloud of gray mist suddenly appeared around her, lifting her into the air. 0

However, she had not flown very high when a soft object suddenly appeared above her head. 0

'Puff!' 0

Freya's expression froze instantly. 0

In the faint sound, Freya felt her vision blur for a moment before quickly returning to normal. 0

Feeling as if nothing had happened, Freya let out a deep breath and looked nervously at the transparent space around her. 0

"That was close." 0

She hadn't expected that this bubble of space would be so low, only a few hundred meters in height. 0

Regaining her composure, Freya adjusted her flying altitude slightly and then quickly headed in a specific direction. 0

Spatial Bubbles vary in size, but with Freya's speed, even the largest would not be bigger than an entire world. 0

After twenty minutes, in the distance across the fields, a large group of black birds dressed in tailcoats appeared in her line of sight. 0

These large birds held instruments in their hands, eyes closed, passionately playing an unknown melody—sometimes cheerful, sometimes melancholic—very strange indeed. 0

Freya even saw a large black piano placed in front of one of the more robust birds. The five feathers on the bird's wings moved like nimble fingers across the piano keys. 0

On the back of the piano, there was a line written in Ancient Elvish Language: "Dedicated Piano for Cocoa Bird." 0

"These Strange Creatures in the Spatial Bubble..." 0

Listening to the various sounds of music around her, Freya ignored the humanoid Cocoa Birds and scanned her surroundings. 0

Soon, she discovered a Puddle not far from the band. The water in the Puddle was deep blue, resembling the color of the ocean. 0

Freya quietly landed in front of the Puddle, and to her surprise, she could faintly hear a young girl's humming nearby. 0

Looking at the Puddle, Freya raised an eyebrow and then connected a thread of mental energy to it, directly asking, "Hello, are you the Question-Answer Spring?" 0

Upon receiving Freya's Spiritual Message, the humming stopped, and then the girl's voice came through. 0

"Stranger, if you want me to answer, please provide something that satisfies me." 0

"It seems so," Freya nodded and continued, "Then can you help me get out of here?" 0

"Please provide something that satisfies me, and I will answer," the girl's voice replied. 0

"Alright, how about this?" Freya took out a blue gem and tossed it into the Puddle. The deep blue water immediately rippled. 0

"Of course," the girl's voice responded. "However, you have three chances to answer one of my questions. If you answer any one correctly, I will help you leave. So here’s the first question: What is the name of the piece that the Cocoa Birds just played?" 0

Freya fell silent, listening to the occasional melodies escaping from the Cocoa Birds in the distance. After a long moment, she finally attempted to respond. 0

"Is this an emotion?" 0

"Incorrect. Second question, how was I born?" Question-Answer Spring replied directly. 0

For this question, Freya did not hesitate. "You are a byproduct of the formation of the Spatial Bubble." 0

"Incorrect. Third question, there is a foolish rabbit in this place, what is its name?!" 0

"Incorrect??" Hearing the second question was wrong, Freya frowned slightly. "Aren't you the natural entrance generated when the Spatial Bubble formed?" 0

"Please provide me with something satisfactory, and I will answer. By the way, you only have one chance left." The voice of Question-Answer Spring was straightforward. 0

Without saying a word, Freya took out a larger red gem from her waist and threw it into the Puddle. 0

"Yes, I am not." 0

Freya felt that Question-Answer Spring was being somewhat unreasonable. 0

Shaking her head slightly, she decided not to waste time on this. Recalling Mr. Rabbit's monologue from back then, Freya stated directly. 0

"The rabbit's name is Bob." 0

"Alright, you got it right. Now, as long as you jump in, you can leave here. I am connected to thirty-two Spatial Bubbles; where do you want to go?" Question-Answer Spring asked. 0

After thinking for a moment, Freya confirmed. 0

"To an area without Spatial Bubbles." 0

"Okay, jump in." 0

Just as Freya was about to jump into the Puddle, she suddenly turned her head to look at the Cocoa Bird, which was still playing joyfully not far away, casually tossing something into the Question-Answer Spring. 0

"One more question, I want to know what piece those guys are playing?" 0

Soon, Freya got her answer. 0

"I don't know either." 0

"I knew I shouldn't get caught up in this." Shaking her head in frustration, Freya jumped directly into the Puddle. 0

Splash! 0

Freya felt the gentle life force surrounding her in the water; she could sense the swift current pulling her away from here. 0

"No wonder the answer isn't the entrance to the Spatial Bubble; this spring is actually a special form of life." (To be continued.) 0
