Chapter Three Hundred Ninety-Two: 0

The forces involved in the Toy Room are diverse and extensive. Whether among ordinary people or deeper within the Underworld, one can almost find a foothold of this organization everywhere. 0

This force seems to function as a public trading platform, permeating every corner of the Wizarding World. 0

Moreover, Freya has a feeling that the Toy Room does not only exist within the Wizarding World; perhaps there are traces of it in other High-Level Worlds as well. 0

However, despite the overwhelming strength of this force, to Freya, it is merely an information channel. 0

Her philosophy differs from that of the merchants involved; even if she were to formally join, it would likely not be very comfortable. 0

Sitting quietly in a corner, Freya opened a thick stack of wanted posters on the table. 0

These wanted posters were for notorious wizards or fierce knights, issued by the Wizard Organization or family bounties. 0

At the top of each poster was an animated portrait, while below it were the bounty amounts and essential basic information. 0

In just over ten minutes, Freya finished reviewing the wanted posters. 0

"Eh? There's not even one for me?" Freya frowned slightly as she put down the wanted poster. "Could it be that the Klyent Family does not have any wizards specialized in prophecy?" 0

With her doubts in mind, she picked up a newspaper about a recent major event in the Northern Snowfield. 0

Quickly, she found information regarding the eruption of Anshabella Volcano. 0

At the top was a statement from a group called Silver Crown Family, claiming responsibility for this incident, which occupied the headline of the newspaper. 0

Above the statement was an illustration of a volcano erupting with lava, resembling a fiery column shooting straight into the sky, with numerous lava meteors falling around the mountains. 0

The consequences included the extinction of a Humanoid Nation, half of the towns submerged by floods from the snow-capped mountains, and countless property losses. 0

It was worse than a mere natural disaster. 0

Below the statement was a scene of a large group of wizards in animal skin armor immediately coming to the rescue. 0

Frost magic reformed the snow-capped mountains, and heaps of flesh offerings were thrown into the volcano's mouth to appease the fury of Anshabella Volcano. 0

Although it was already suspected that the war among the wizards would cause harm, seeing Freya in person still felt somewhat unusual. 0

After a pause, she put down the newspaper in her hand, took a sip of the cool and refreshing Cider, and sorted through her myriad of doubts. 0

"Shirley has been here. Silver Crown is a branch of the Klyent Family. But why are they responsible for the volcanic eruption? Also, that deceased Silver Wolf Sorcerer—was he not part of the Klyent Family? Strange?" 0

The impact of this incident was considered catastrophic even in the affluent Sky City, yet it was surprisingly quiet here. 0

No wanted notices. No significant public concern, just methodical rescue operations. 0

All these signs made Freya feel increasingly puzzled. 0

Suddenly, she seemed to recall the massive red crystal hidden beneath the lake of Anshabella Volcano and that mixed Spiritual Message. 0

"Perhaps it is related to that; after all, that area is considered Klyent Family territory. They must be aware of such an existence at the bottom of the volcano." 0

Freya vaguely speculated that this incident might have been misled by them. 0

Of course. This was a significant boon for Freya, as being targeted by a powerful ancient family with a long history was not something anyone would find pleasant. 0

Although she still had many doubts in her mind, Freya decided not to pursue them any further. The fact that they had no plans to investigate was her greatest fortune. 0

She could roughly guess the direction things were heading, and the subsequent events might not have much to do with her. 0

After pondering for a moment, Freya lightly tapped her fingers on the table. "In that case, it's time to consider the area of Stardust Prairie." 0

Stardust Prairie was originally a vast wetland inhabited by various creatures. Even in ancient times, it was considered very rare fertile land. 0

As the guardian of Stardust Prairie, every King Cobra was born and perished there, and all the secrets of the King Cobra existed within that place. 0

However, according to the map Freya had found, the current location of Stardust Prairie was not in Cloud City but in another place called Crimson Forest Trace. 0

That area was a desolate land that had not been developed by wizards, hiding most of the Alien Life and mutants. 0

Aside from some desperate fugitives or wizards with other intentions, no one would want to stay and live there. 0

Even so, it would not be an exaggeration to say that it was a forbidden zone for normal creatures. 0

"Compared to other wizards, my current strength is at the peak of level four, infinitely close to level five in one form, while in my normal state, I am merely a wizard specializing in Wind Element and Plant Energy. That is usually sufficient to handle ordinary situations, but if I encounter something tricky, it might be somewhat lacking." Remembering the formidable Silver Wolf Sorcerer made Freya frown slightly. "Moreover, I still lack specific information about Crimson Forest Trace; I should make some necessary preparations just in case." 0

The ancient Stardust Prairie and the current Crimson Forest Trace held great significance for Freya; she could not afford any accidents. 0

It was the last inheritance of the King Cobra and contained the secrets of its second final form's condensation. 0

Freya had a feeling that if she found something there, perhaps many of her questions would be answered. 0

The conclusion of the prosperous Ancient Times, the invasion of Otherworldly Creatures, and the external manifestation of the rules of various worlds will all receive answers... 0

Half a year later. 0

In the dim sky, distant thunder rumbled, and flashes of Lightning illuminated the thick gray-black clouds. 0

Below, in the deep green sea of trees, a winding rugged path was slowly traversed by a line of carriages. 0

Most of the wagons were ordinary gray, with a crude depiction of a Scale Pattern etched on their sides. Perhaps due to long neglect, the pattern had faded and become incomplete, giving off a somewhat worn-out feeling. 0

The drivers of these wagons wore gray-black Hemp Clothing, while a few robust individuals donned armor and weapons, their expressions slightly serious as they occasionally scanned their surroundings for any signs of danger. 0

At the end of this caravan was a striking Black Carriage, which was considerably more luxurious than the preceding wagons. The horse surrounding it bore no decorations, making it appear as if it did not belong to the caravan. 0

Suddenly, a flash of lightning illuminated the sky, followed by a torrential downpour that came crashing down. 0

The already difficult path became even muddier, and the front wagon's wheels tilted, getting stuck in a depression. No matter how much the driver whipped the reins, it could not be freed. 0

The caravan began to halt. Some armored individuals started walking towards the nearby forest, while others unloaded supplies from their wagons to set up tents. 0

A man wearing half armor, drenched from head to toe, rode a Black Stallion up to the last Black Carriage. 0

He gently knocked on the carriage window. 0

"Wow." 0

A gap in the car window opened, and a woman who looked to be around twenty-three or twenty-four with blonde hair leaned out. 0

Seeing her, the man wiped the rain off his face and said respectfully, "Sister Freya. The rain is too heavy, so we decided to camp here for the night. We'll wait until it eases up before we leave. What do you think?" 0

"That's fine," Freya nodded lightly. "However, the time wasted will be deducted from the Magic Stones I pay you." 0

"Alright, no problem. I've already informed our leader," the man smiled. "And we'll have the tents set up soon. You—" 0

Before he could finish, Freya waved her hand to interrupt him. 0

"Yes, I understand. I'll come over shortly." 0

The man didn’t mind being interrupted. He gently tugged on the reins and turned the horse around. 0

"Okay, if there's nothing else, I'll get back to work." 0

Watching him leave, Freya closed the car window and soon stepped out of the vehicle. 0

The rain parted above her head, not a drop touching her. Freya scanned her surroundings; aside from the caravan in front of her, there was only the dark forest. 0

At the edge of the forest, members of the caravan were preparing traps or other equipment. 0

On the left side of the caravan, some black-tipped tents had already been set up, and a young man in a gray robe was waving at her. 0

Freya paused for a moment and then walked over. 0

The young man reached out to pull open the entrance of the nearby tent, slightly bending down as he spoke. 0

"My lady, this is your tent. Please wait a moment; Lord Bill would like to speak with you." 0

"Alright." 0

Freya nodded lightly and stepped into the tent. 0

The space inside the tent appeared larger than it did from the outside, and a faint energy aura lingered in the air, as if it had just been enhanced by magic. 0

There was a simple single bed and some tables and chairs, with a thick white carpet covering the floor that felt soft underfoot. 0

After looking around the tent, she walked to the circular window and gazed outside. The caravan was still busy, and several guards who had entered the forest had returned in this short time. Two of them were carrying a gray-furred deer, an arrow lodged in its neck, blood flowing down and mixing with the rainwater before quickly soaking into the ground. 0

Two Apprentice Wizards dressed in Gray Robes began chanting spells to create a dry area under the makeshift awning for barbecuing. 0

It seemed that this heavy rain would take a long time to stop, making it likely that they would have to stay overnight. 0

She had only been standing by the window for a moment when a red light from the Warning Array outside flickered on, and a man's voice called out from outside. 0

"Lady Freya, this is Bill. Is it convenient for me to come in now?" 0

Retracting her gaze without speaking, Freya gently snapped her fingers, causing the entrance of the tent to part automatically. 0

A young man with flaxen short hair walked in. He was dressed in a black robe, with a Scale Pattern badge on his chest that glimmered faintly. 0

As soon as the man walked in, he bowed to Freya and respectfully handed her a bag of Magic Stones that he took from his waist. 0

"Lady Freya, this is compensation for the time I took from you with the Magic Stones." 0

"Mm." 0

After checking the bag, Freya put it back into her waist pouch. 0

Watching Freya take back the Magic Stones, a young man named Bill hesitated for a moment before continuing. 0

"Lady Freya, I still have some questions about the Ashfire Model you traded to me last time. It's regarding the Merkel Formula. May I ask if you are available to answer now? Of course, you don't need to worry about the Magic Stones or any materials." 0

"Sure, no problem," Freya nodded in agreement. 0

Bill was one of the leaders of this caravan, which was headed towards the Crimson Forest Trace to trade with the unusual beings living there and acquire some rare resources. 0

Freya had spent a long time searching for this caravan, which was the only one that knew a safe route to the Crimson Forest Trace. 0

For this reason, Freya had paid a substantial amount of money. 0

The location of the Crimson Forest Trace was so remote that even flying above it would not reveal its position; one could only traverse through the most primitive ground routes. 0

Fortunately, despite the difficult journey, it had been relatively safe. The only battles encountered were with Demonized Creatures that attacked the caravan out of hunger, which were easily dealt with by the knight guards in the caravan. 0

Through this period of communication, Freya had also gathered some specific intelligence about the Crimson Forest Trace and had exchanged her Witchcraft Model for it with Bill, the caravan leader. 0

After a brief exchange, Freya quickly pointed out Bill's questions regarding constructing his Model. 0

For this young person who was promoted to a wizard at just sixteen, she was very willing to guide him. 0

"It turns out I was mistaken, thank you, my lord," Bill said, a look of realization appearing on his youthful face. 0

"Ashfire originally belonged to apprentice-level witchcraft, but after my modifications, it now possesses the power equivalent to a peak first-level spell. Since it is a continuous spell, stabilizing the output of mental energy after constructing the Model is key; just trust your own feelings," Freya said casually. 0

Upon hearing her words, Bill took out his Wizard's Notebook from his waist and began to record seriously. 0

This modified Witchcraft Model was as precious as some Intermediate Enchanted Items. Although it meant little to Freya, it held significant meaning for Bill, who had just been promoted to a wizard. 0

After watching him finish his notes quietly, Freya continued, "You don't need to use the Magic Stone. Please tell me more about the specifics of the Crimson Forest Trace; I am very curious about that place." 0

Hearing that he didn't need to pay with Magic Stones, Bill raised his head with a hint of joy and then respectfully replied, "Yes, my lord. Our organization has only been to the Crimson Forest Trace three times; we are only familiar with some safe areas nearby. Besides what I previously told you about the many Alien Life forms for survival, there are reportedly more mysterious areas hidden within the Crimson Forest Trace. For example, there are inexplicably appearing altars and some strange Alien Creatures that have life forces contrary to our own. There is also an Ancient Town that even alien creatures are reluctant to approach. However, these are just reports; we dare not venture in ourselves since those places are dangerous for us. If you wish to explore, you can hire alien creatures from outside the Crimson Forest Trace; I believe they would be very willing to act as guides." (To be continued) 0
