Chapter Three Hundred Sixty-Two:
Wen Li is a Third-Rank Apprentice of the Seth Family, responsible for Freya's daily requests.
She is considered a promising junior in the Seth Family and holds some influence within her family.
Moreover, she is quite clever and sensible, which makes Freya like her even more.
Three hours later, the Belamus Family's dedicated carriage arrived at the outskirts of the estate, and a pile of thick, ancient books was moved into Freya's study.
A girl with long black hair dressed in a Gray Robe stood obediently to one side of the study.
Freya, still in her brown long dress, was casually looking over the newly added books on the shelf.
"Lady Freya, this is all the information we have collected regarding ancient runes for your review."
Her voice was slightly hoarse but sounded very magnetic.
"Mm, not bad." Freya nodded and turned around with a smile. "This information overall contains most of what we know about ancient runes. Even the Rune Department's database might not be as comprehensive as yours. It seems that you Belamus have put a lot of effort into this collection."
"Thank you for your praise, my lady." Wen Li slightly bowed and replied appropriately. "This is what we at Belamus should do."
"Hehe, no need to be so formal." Seeing Wen Li's businesslike demeanor, Freya walked to the desk and sat down. "Aren't you turning seventeen this year?"
"Yes, my lady." Wen Li respectfully lowered her head.

"So, would you be interested in joining my Blood Eagle Territory to work for me after you advance to a wizard?"
Wen Li's eyes flashed with surprise; she seemed not to expect Freya to say such things suddenly.
After a long while, she seemed to have thought of something and quickly bowed.
"Sorry, my lord, I was lost in thought just now. I am willing."
"It's alright." Freya waved her hand and took out a white square crystal from the drawer of her desk. "Since that's the case, I'll give you this."
"Klein's Core," she instinctively murmured the name of the crystal in Freya's hand.
"It seems you know about this item. Although with your current status in the family, you could obtain it. However, after this, the materials for your promotion might not be sufficient, so consider this a gift from me," Freya said with a smile. "After all, I truly appreciate an apprentice as talented as you."
"My lord," even though she was mentally prepared, Wen Li still felt so excited that her body trembled slightly.

A Klein's Core was nothing to her; after all, the costs of her experiments were a terrifying number for an ordinary wizard.

After placing the Feather Pen back into the inkwell, Freya lightly tapped her fingers on the table, her mind racing with thoughts.
A week of research had made her increasingly aware of the complexity and peculiarity of this Ancient Rune Array. She sensed that its significance had long surpassed the otherworldly topics most wizards were currently studying.
With the guidance from the two experts at the Stellar Tower, a line seemed to appear in her mind, but it always eluded her grasp.
After a moment's pause, she arranged the previously disassembled Ancient Rune Array pieces in front of her.
Layer upon layer nearly covered the entire desk.
After an unknown amount of time, Freya suddenly felt a spark of inspiration. She flicked her fingers. Countless dark blue winds swirled under her control towards the various rune materials below.
These ordinary sheets of paper ignited upon contact with the winds and deeply imprinted themselves onto the tabletop.
The disassembled runes quickly reformed and stacked, taking on their most primitive shapes.
After what felt like an eternity, the smooth surface of the desk was filled with intersecting marks. Circles of runes were arranged in some order, each representing meaningful primary runes embedded in central positions.
Eventually, the prototype of that Ancient Rune Array expanded several times and presented itself before Freya.
She reached out to touch the rune traces on its surface, and green light flickered in her eyes unconsciously.
"So this is what the Ancient Rune Array does. I never expected this. It's incredible—projection, descent, communication with other worlds."
Through a week of continuous research, comparison, categorization, and speculation, she finally began to guess what this Rune Array was for.
It was an otherworldly 'Summoning Array,' or perhaps a 'Counter-Summoning Array.'
Using the Rune Array, one can project oneself or create a clone to other dimensions, thereby obtaining various items or knowledge.
According to Freya, in Ancient Times, the World Barrier of the Wizarding World was still very strong, and there were almost no passages formed by World Rifts.

As her palm made contact with the Rune Array, the King Cobra Mark on the back of Freya's right hand seemed to come alive. The snake-like pupils glimmered slightly, and a thin red thread flowed from her palm into the Rune Array.
Freya felt as if one-third of her Bloodline Power was flowing into the Rune Array along with her mental energy.
In the center of the Rune Array, the Starry Beast Mark twisted for a moment before being replaced by the King Cobra mark.
As the King Cobra Mark formed, Freya's eyes widened in shock.
In her azure pupils, countless silver stars streaked by rapidly, as if her mind had entered the cosmos.
Freya felt as though she was in a vast passageway, with numerous silver light points racing past her.
Illusory images appeared in her field of vision.
Desolate mountains, vast oceans, endless flames, pure voids.
Most of these images showed no signs of life; some were merely barren lands or simple bodies of water.
"This is my mental energy automatically searching for worlds with signs of life through the Rune Array. It seems to be an exploratory Summoning Array."
However, it seemed that due to it being just an experiment, Freya's mental energy invested in the Rune Array was limited. After only a minute, she felt her body exhibiting unstable characteristics, her solid form beginning to turn into a semi-transparent Azure figure like an ordinary wind element.
Just as she felt her body was about to collapse, Freya suddenly sensed her body becoming weightless.
When she came to her senses, she found herself standing on a Crimson hillside, with loud rumbling sounds echoing around her.
Even though she was merely an elemental avatar, the thick stench of blood and decay still filled her nostrils, creating a nauseating sensation.
With a slight frown, Freya blinked to adjust to her somewhat murky vision. She saw a large area of black and red monsters fighting fiercely at the bottom of the hill. Among these monsters, dark-skinned giants occasionally appeared, wielding weapons that resembled Wolf Fang Clubs and swinging them wildly.
