Chapter 360:
Under the unusual gazes of the two, a hint of coldness flashed in Freya's eyes, but her smile remained.
"Oh? What is it that you want?"
Unaware of the change in Freya's expression, Seth continued to smile gently.
"What I think is that your potential is far greater than that of an ordinary wizard. If you are looking for collaboration or assistance, you can come to me. You know, even though my Belamus Family is just a family, we are much stronger than some other forces in the Crimson Plain."
Hearing Seth's next words, Freya reined in some of her thoughts and replied with a smile.
"Oh, I see. However, I have enough resources and other things for now, so I might..."
"Hehe, there's no need to rush to refuse," Seth politely interrupted Freya's next words and continued slowly. "I know that our Blood Eagle Territory is very generous to core members, especially to talents like you with immense potential. Besides resources, we can also provide other things that you might need, and all you have to do is lend your name, just like Sean. In fact, his current status is that of an elder in my family, and the rights he possesses are enough to influence several ordinary countries. He can look after both you and those related to you."
Seth's words indeed made Freya's heart waver slightly.
Since she truly entered the Wizarding World, she had always been alone. Although she had many powerful friends, she had never engaged with them due to her reluctance to get involved in their various intrigues.
However, upon careful consideration, her needs in terms of power were not very high. After all, the path she chose kept her from intersecting too much with most wizards. Even if there were needs, she had options like Klyent and the unfathomable Toy Room for collaboration.
Yet the influence of these two forces was too narrow. They did not reach her barren homeland as a wizard at all.
After all, even if she was powerful, due to the distance, there were some things she couldn't take into account regarding Baron and her family. Otherwise, she wouldn't have acted the way she did during her last visit home.
After thinking for a moment, Freya gently nodded.
"Yes, I need to consider this. Also, give me a copy of the Contract to look over; you should have one."
"Of course." Seth's expression changed slightly. He had almost understood Freya's intention. "I'll get you the details shortly."
"Great." Freya picked up a wine glass from the nearby table and raised it slightly towards the two of them. "Here's to a pleasant cooperation."
"To a pleasant cooperation."
The bonfire party continued until late into the night before it finally ended. Freya only had a few snacks and some grilled meat before leaving, taking the items Seth had given her back to her tent.
After carefully reviewing everything, Freya signed her name on the Contract.
In her view, this Contract from the Belamus Family was a long-term investment plan for a wizard with immense potential and little background.
Freya herself didn't have to do much; she only needed to provide some obligatory assistance to Belamus after her growth. In return, the Belamus Family offered her many benefits, even allowing her to call upon some of their personnel for assistance.
However, from this, Freya also vaguely recognized the difficulties most ordinary wizards faced in their advancement.
Due to her own circumstances and opportunities, her progress on the path of wizardry had been remarkably swift; in just over ten years, she had reached this level, which was extremely rare even in history.
Yet, her astonishing growth was unique and irreplicable; she stood alone in this regard.
After signing the cooperation contract with the Belamus Family, she directly utilized the newly acquired rights to dispatch some apprentices to Dragon Harbor.
Then, under the guidance of expert wizards from Stellar Tower, they began establishing the World Gate and learning its key points.
Time passed quickly.
Two months later.
On a verdant grassland, a massive black gate stood abruptly on the ground.
Surrounding the gate were various well-organized buildings, from which wizards dressed in white robes or Red Robes occasionally emerged.
Beside the black gate, Seth and Freya looked at the gate with a puzzled expression, seemingly skeptical. This World Gate was built by their hands.
After a long while, Seth withdrew his gaze and remarked with some emotion.
"Indeed, Stellar Tower is impressive; just the technical sophistication of this World Gate is probably at the peak of Cloud City."
Freya nodded in agreement without saying a word.
Her two months of involvement in the construction had given her a different understanding of the world. With her current knowledge, if resources were sufficient, she could almost establish a World Gate through World Coordinates.
This establishment held significant meaning for exploring Hell World; at least on the surface, it seemed possible to enter Hell World without going through Hell's Mouth.
After chatting for a while, Seth suddenly spoke in a calm voice.
"Yesterday, I received a personal notification from the Minister that I might not be returning with you this time."
"Oh?" Freya glanced at Seth, puzzled. "Is it about guarding the World Passage?"
"That's right," Seth nodded. "For thirty years."
Freya also nodded, her expression understanding. She was not surprised by Seth's appointment. After all, Seth was a disciple of Meilong, making him the most suitable candidate for guarding such a precious facility as the World Passage. It seemed that the Minister's notification also carried Vice Minister Melong Lawrence's intention.
She intended for Seth to conduct further exploration in another world to enhance his knowledge.
After chatting for a while longer, Freya left the World Passage alone, leaving Seth standing there.
Three days later, she boarded a giant eagle and flew towards the headquarters of Blood Eagle Territory.
In the Rune Department, in an ordinary office.
The elderly Deputy Director of the Rune Department, Meilong, sat behind his desk, reviewing and processing something.
The sunlight outside streamed onto the desk, revealing dense encrypted letters that required decryption to read.
Across the table, the blonde Freya stood quietly.
After an unknown amount of time, Meilong set down his Feather Pen and let out a gentle sigh. He looked up at Freya and offered a warm smile.
"Freya, you have been in my Rune Department for three years now, haven't you?"
"Yes, Lord Meilong," Freya replied, slightly bowing her head in respect.
"Three years is not a short time. What are your thoughts on my Rune Department recently?"
"Thoughts," Freya pondered. "I think our runes..."
Just as she was about to answer, Meilong waved her hand and interrupted.
"Alright, that's enough. Take a look at this."
With that, she pushed a document in front of Freya. Upon seeing the contents of the document, Freya was momentarily taken aback, seemingly unable to believe it.
"This is the Administrator Appointment Letter?"
"Yes, considering your outstanding performance previously, I discussed this with the department head. I believe your current abilities qualify you for this position, and the department head has also agreed to my recommendation," Meilong said with a smile.
In fact, Freya estimated that although her demonstrated abilities had garnered attention from higher-ups, it wouldn't happen so quickly; it was more of a gradual accumulation over time.
However, what she didn't expect was for the appointment letter to be issued so soon.
Yet, upon seeing Meilong's smile, Freya seemed to have an inkling of what was happening.
After thinking for a moment, she spoke respectfully.
"Lord Meilong, I think it's still a bit early for me to be appointed as a manager; I have many things to do."
"That's alright. I've already learned some things from Seth. The appointment is certain, but since you are the youngest among the managers, for now, aside from your title, everything else will remain the same. You don't need to worry about wasting too much time because of the appointment."
She had just thought that this matter was related to Seth, and now it was confirmed.
The internal managers or heads of the Blood Eagle Territory have much higher authority than ordinary core members.
Not only are most of the libraries open to them, but they can also browse through various materials in the data room.
According to Meilong, her current position would not involve any missions to certain outposts, essentially giving her a title without any obligations.
After a pause, Freya nodded.
"Alright, I understand."
"Yes, that's all you need to know," Meilong said with a smile.
Once she signed her name and left her mark, Meilong took back the appointment letter and placed it in her drawer after checking it.
Then she pulled out a red wooden token from her waist and placed it in front of Freya.
"This is proof of your status as a manager. Leave your mark on it, and then you can enjoy the benefits that come with being a manager. Don't lose it; if you do, notify me as soon as possible."
Looking at the seemingly ordinary Red Wooden Plaque in front of her, Freya reached out and lightly tapped it with her finger.
With a soft sound, ripples spread across the surface of the plaque, and a red Eagle Head slowly emerged.
The Eagle Head gazed at Freya as if it were alive. After a moment, the Eagle Head twisted again and ultimately transformed into a Red-Eyed Goat with a pair of sharp horns, which was Freya's own mark.
"You can obtain specific permissions for the administrator through it. Now, I have other matters to attend to. If there's nothing else, you may leave."
"Okay."
Freya nodded, reached for the Red Wooden Plaque, hung it at her waist, and after bowing respectfully, she exited Meilong's office. (To be continued.)
