Chapter Three Hundred Forty-Two: 0

A massive gray cloud had gathered above him without him noticing. 0

The thick clouds rolled slowly, revealing a huge white striped object within. 0

On either side of the object were translucent membranes that fluttered gently as the rain clouds churned. 0

The shadow of the clouds completely enveloped him, and an unusual feeling settled over his heart. 0

"What is this thing?" he was somewhat dazed. 0

Just as he was pondering, suddenly, the slowly rolling clouds became violent, and not far in front of him, the cloud layer split open abruptly. 0

A gigantic green Snake Head emerged, its emerald eyes slowly turning towards him. 0

It was like a human looking at a tiny fly or mosquito. 0

This sudden scene caused Soulbug's brain to freeze momentarily, and his subconscious instinctively urged him to distance himself from this colossal creature. 0

However, his body remained stiff and unmoving, as if any slight movement would result in being completely swallowed by the giant snake. 0

Then, the Snake Head suddenly opened its mouth wide, rushing towards him with the heavy clouds. 0

Darkness descended in an instant. 0

Ten minutes later. 0

In a sparse forest, Freya crouched on the ground, holding the Black Dagger as if she were cutting something. 0

A hissing sound occasionally echoed through the air. 0

After a while, there was a loud crack, as if something had broken. 0

Freya discarded the dagger in her hand and quickly pulled out a black Test Tube from her waist, pouring the liquid inside onto the ground. 0

With a puff, a wisp of white smoke rose from the ground. 0

Freya stood up, satisfied as she looked at the head of the insect in her hand. The ground was littered with the body of a Soulbug missing its head, which still twitched occasionally due to its strong constitution, as if it had not fully died yet. 0

"Revitalization Potion. It can last for three hours; that should be enough." 0

Just as she managed to sever the Soulbug's head, Arthur and three Barbarian Sorcerers rushed over from the edge of the forest in disarray. 0

They were now just beyond the reach of Dark Gorge, and considering they lacked flying abilities, it was quite fast for them to arrive here in ten minutes. 0

Arthur hurried to Freya's side and noticed the head in her hands. His expression tightened slightly, then he quickly showed an apologetic look. 0

"I'm sorry, my lady. It was my oversight." 0

"It's fine," Freya waved her hand dismissively. She took out a Black Bag and placed the head inside. "Do you have any wizards specialized in the Necromancy Department?" 0

"Yes," Arthur nodded, already guessing what Freya intended to do. 0

"That's good." Freya tossed the black bag directly into his hands. "Extract this guy's memories for me. As for the soul, you can handle it however you see fit, is that alright?" 0

"Of course." Taking the bag, Arthur's expression turned a bit awkward. "However, with our current techniques, it might take a little longer." 0

"How long will it take?" Freya asked. 0

Arthur calculated silently in his mind before responding, "Three. Three should be enough." 0

"Alright." Freya agreed immediately. 0

Although her time was tight, three was still manageable. 0

Glancing around the desolate area, Freya lightly patted her White Robe. 0

"Handle the body and return to Lion City." 0

"Yes, my lord." Arthur nodded and took out a silver, gelatinous substance from his body, tossing it onto the still twitching corpse. 0

Before long, the mass of liquid completely enveloped the body, which had once possessed incredible defensive capabilities. To everyone's surprise, countless bubbles began to emerge from the gelatin under the surface. Like soap bubbles, they quickly shriveled away. 0

Without even glancing at the now puddle-like remains of the corpse, the group turned and left in the direction they had originally come from. 0

... 0

Three hours later. 0

In Lion City, filled with windmills, inside an ordinary inn. 0

Arthur handed a transparent Crystal to Freya. 0

"My lord, this is a fragment of memory extracted from the soul. Due to the haste of the situation, the memories inside may not be complete." 0

"Mm, I understand. Thank you for your hard work." Freya nodded as she accepted the crystal. 0

The crystal was only fist-sized and spherical, with a faintly visible transparent worm moving along the inner wall of the crystal, climbing aimlessly. 0

It looked exactly like a Soulbug. 0

After a moment's pause, she reached out and gently tapped the surface of the crystal. 0

The transparent bug inside the crystal was immediately stirred into large fragments by the mental tendrils released from Freya's fingers, and then absorbed by her. 0

In an instant, a vast number of incomplete images flooded into Freya's brain. 0

Most of these images were meaningless, representing events experienced by the Soulbug during its life, and even with Freya's extraordinary intellect, she could not process them all. 0

Thus, the images that held no relevance to her were directly ignored as she focused on searching for information about the Spring of Life. 0

Scenes flashed before her eyes like a movie, with segments of memories being overlooked by her. 0

Unknowingly, a layer of faint White Light covered Freya's azure pupils, as if something within was leaping. 0

Suddenly, among the numerous memories, a familiar forest scene appeared in her view. 0

It was a marvelous forest filled with countless green glows, where beautiful white deer roamed. The atmosphere was dim, and the air carried a fresh scent. 0

Cute animals ran past her, and as they walked, a massive ancient tree with a missing section abruptly appeared before her amidst a patch of glowing green grass. 0

In the center of the tree was a pool of green liquid that slowly gushed outward, providing endless vitality to the forest. 0

Seeing this, Freya slowly raised her head. The white light in her eyes quickly receded as she frowned slightly, revealing a contemplative expression. 0

"I didn't expect it to be in the Underworld, and this guy is actually a wizard from the Shadow Realm." 0

Freya had encountered the wizard of the Shadow Realm during her first collaboration with Klyent when they entered the ancient ruins. 0

According to Klyent's speculation, this Wizard Organization was not only underground but also had its wizard members dispersed within, making it unclear how they were managed. 0

When she killed the Soulbug, her image might have already been transmitted to this organization. 0

"Troublesome." 0

Hearing Freya's slight complaint, Arthur gently lowered his head. 0

"My lord, the Underworld has always been at odds with us Surface Sorcerers. If we want to enter, we must make some adequate preparations." 0

"No need." Freya interrupted him. "I will go to the Underworld myself; you all return to Klyent. It's easier for me to act alone." 0

"But..." Arthur wanted to say something more, but seeing Freya's expression, he ultimately nodded. "Alright, I understand, my lord." (To be continued) 0
