Chapter 337:
From the scene just now, it was indeed a fragment from memory, but that does not prove that the Spring of Life is real.
Memories can be fabricated, and the atmosphere of an environment can be manipulated through special methods.
After all, the rarity of the Spring of Life is almost equivalent to that of top-tier Magic Weapons and resources.
No Wizard Organization has discovered it, yet it can be handed over so easily.
Freya pondered for a moment before slowly speaking.
"I need a bit more evidence, such as some material from an ancient tree or a sample of the Fountain of Life."
After a brief silence filled with a hoarse voice, a response came through.
"The location of that place is quite special, and it is very dangerous. Although I have some items on me, you will need to pay a price for this."
"That's fine." Freya replied directly. "I just want to ensure the authenticity of the information; that's not too much to ask."
"Of course. Then let's confirm a time and place for the transaction. Where are you located right now?"
"Me?" Freya turned to glance at the White Tower behind her. "I am currently at Crimson Plain."
"Oh, then let's set it at Lion City in Blackwind Gorge at Crimson Plain, with the time being noon half a month from now."
"Alright, I understand." Freya said calmly.
"Hope the transaction goes well."
With a snap, she actively severed the mental connection.
Then, with a hint of doubt in her eyes, she looked at the badge in her hand and lightly tapped it again.
"Shh."
A gray Barrier appeared in her field of vision. This was a personal information form.
"Soulbug, registered in City of Illusions Northern Snowfield, identity: External"
She softly murmured the information above; aside from these two details, everything else was blank, and the profile picture was just a mass of black shadow.
Silently closing the information panel, Freya frowned slightly.
The wizard with the alias Soulbug seemed to have completely obscured their information, treating Toy Room merely as a transaction task platform.
Dealing with such external individuals could be very troublesome, especially if someone had ulterior motives. In that case, Toy Room would not take responsibility. The risks were significant.
"However, this person seems to be from City of Illusions Northern Snowfield, so I might as well ask."
Freya put away the Castle Emblem and took out Klyent's horn. She linked her mental tendrils.
After a slight hissing sound, Klyent's rugged voice came through the horn in a fragmented manner.
"Freya, what's up? Isn't our transaction time not yet due?"
The noise on his end sounded extremely chaotic. It seemed that someone nearby was speaking loudly, mixed with loud banging sounds, creating an unusually disorderly atmosphere.
Ignoring these distractions, Freya spoke directly.
"I posted a mission regarding trading information, and it was taken by a wizard named Soulbug, whose registered location is with you. Do you know this person? Is his reputation good?"
"Soulbug?" Klyent seemed to move to a quieter spot. "I think I traded with that wizard about sixty years ago. He was quite mysterious and didn't seem like a Human Wizard. Although he registered here, I don't know much about him."
"Oh, I see. I understand," Freya nodded lightly.
"Is there something you're worried about? Just tell me directly, and I'll send a few of my subordinates to check it out. Although it's the Toy Room, there are still many dangers involved, as you understand," Klyent offered kindly.
Hearing Klyent's willingness to help, Freya thought for a moment and decided not to decline.
"Thank you, I'll keep that in mind."
"Haha, aren't we in a cooperative relationship? You've created quite a few good things for me over the years."
Klyent's laughter echoed from the horn when suddenly several loud explosions and the roar of some creature erupted beside him.
"Damn it! Bert! Get that guy to quiet down!! Kill it!!!" Klyent's voice roared, then he quickly turned back to Freya. "Sorry, I have some matters to attend to. When do you need the manpower?"
"Half a month later, at Lion City in Blackwind Gorge."
"Okay, got it. I'll send someone to meet up with you in advance. Goodbye for now."
Before Freya could say farewell, he had already disconnected the mental link, clearly in a hurry.
Thinking of the tomb raiding team led by Klyent, Freya couldn't help but smile slightly.
"I wonder which ruins or ancient tomb they are exploring this time. However, with Klyent's help, there shouldn't be any mistakes this time."
The Spring of Life was what she desperately hoped to obtain.
As time passed, her control over Energy Particles had weakened significantly, and her level had now dropped to that of a First-Level Wizard Crystallization.
Moreover, the Death Qi and decaying aura on her arm were becoming increasingly intense. If this continued for another two months, even with concealment and compression techniques, it would likely be impossible to hide it. By then, her nature would gradually align with that of a Hell Creature, and she would completely lose her powers as a wizard.
...
Half a month later.
In the gloomy sky, a gray giant eagle flew swiftly.
Red ropes were entwined around the giant eagle, and on its back was a wide chair.
Freya, dressed in a White Robe, sat steadily on the chair.
The strong cold wind caused her hair to fly wildly, making it look very disheveled.
The giant eagle flew quickly, and the scenery below rushed past in a blur.
Soon, the emerald green grassland transformed into deep green forests, where various creatures inhabited the trees.
In just a few minutes, the area that had been forested became vast expanses of woodland.
The tall trees of the forest made it difficult for Freya in the sky to see what was inside; she could only occasionally hear some beastly roars.
Before long, several slender red birds hidden in the forest seemed to have spotted Freya, immediately chirping to attract her attention.
Following that, thousands of the same birds flew toward her in that area.
The sharp bird calls echoed throughout the sky, resembling a sharp Red Cloud, which was exceptionally terrifying.
The giant eagle beneath her seemed somewhat startled by the flock of birds, its body trembling slightly. If Freya were not still on its back, it likely would have turned to flee.
"Is this the territory of the Red Falcon?"
Freya squinted her eyes, lightly tapping her foot to soothe the giant eagle's emotions, and then she suddenly opened her eyes wide.
Her azure pupils were quickly filled with green, soon transforming into a crystal-like color, with a faint green mist emanating from her eyes. (To be continued...)
