Chapter Three Hundred and Fourteen: 0

After observing the positions of the two, Freya put away the Silver Plate and walked directly towards one of them. 0

Two months of continuous warfare had firmly established the Crimson Eagle's powerful position in the Crimson Plain. 0

In the following time, it was about clearing and absorbing the Wizard Organization in the Crimson Plain. 0

Although it was unclear what exactly happened between Sky City and the Elders, Sky City did indeed sign a permanent contract regarding the ownership of the Crimson Plain with the Crimson Eagle. 0

From then on, no wizards from Sky City would appear over the Crimson Plain, and the Trading Tower of Sky City would also belong to the Crimson Eagle. 0

Of course, these major events did not significantly impact Freya. 0

Her current status in the Crimson Eagle was merely that of an ordinary Official Wizard. While she might possess some unique talents in runes, she still needed to accumulate experience gradually to improve her position step by step. 0

Before that, her priority was to find someone—someone who knew the secret of the Crimson-Eyed Lizard's Bloodline: Buckley. 0

After the war ended, through numerous experiments, Freya finally confirmed that the blood of this lizard indeed contributed to the mutation of Mud Python. 0

This mutation appeared to be beneficial; not only had Freya's Mud Python grown significantly, but even some special individuals in the Cultivation Tank had experienced rapid growth as a result. 0

As of now, Freya's Mud Python had reached a length of three meters, about as thick as an adult's thigh. 0

The innate abilities of the Mud Python were gradually being developed, and its combat power was already comparable to that of an ordinary Official Wizard. 0

Undoubtedly, all of this was due to the influence of the lizard's Bloodline. 0

However, although she knew this was due to the Bloodline, she later discovered through various experiments that this Crimson-Eyed Lizard was not a descendant of some powerful Ancient Beasts, but rather a type of artificially created organism resembling Synthetic Biology modifications. 0

Moreover, within this creature's body existed a sealed Secret Art, but no information could be obtained from the individual itself. 0

After giving up some resources, she learned about Buckley's current situation and location through the powerful information network of the Toy Room. 0

Fortunately, this fellow seemed to be a survivor of the low-level wizards targeted by the Crimson Eagle's extermination order. 0

Landri had been completely erased, yet for some unknown reason, he remained here without leaving. 0

Black particles fell slowly like drifting snow over the charred ruins of buildings. 0

A faint dry atmosphere lingered in the air, even though the war had ended quite some time ago. It still felt as if this place was frozen in the aftermath of that massive magical bombardment. 0

The blackened land radiated by magical energy was cracked with numerous fine fissures. A distinct scent of pollution wafted up from these cracks. 0

Even Freya's Second Level strength did not make her want to stay in this place for too long. 0

The black boots felt slightly crunchy against the ground, and the towering remnants of buildings cast uneven shadows. Standing under the sun and in the shadows created a noticeable temperature difference. 0

After turning several corners, Freya finally arrived at a half-charred wooden door that was barely hanging on its hinges. 0

She took out the Silver Plate to confirm once more and then kicked open the wooden door directly. 0

With a loud bang, fragments of the door flew into the room, followed by a prolonged sound of cracking and crashing. 0

Before long, thick smoke began to billow out from inside. 0

Watching the thick smoke rise, Freya took a step back. She took out some black seeds and scattered them on the surrounding ground. As soon as the seeds touched the surface, they quickly disappeared without a trace. 0

After sensing the direction of the seeds' movement, Freya walked into the room. 0

Upon entering, a faint smell of decay immediately made Freya frown slightly. On the floor lay several charred corpses, their features unrecognizable, with thin white maggots wriggling in the dark brown congealed blood, which looked somewhat disgusting. 0

The dilapidated room no longer revealed its original purpose. The only intact item in the entire room was a black stone platform placed in the center. 0

Glancing at the corpses on the ground, Freya bypassed them according to Silver Plate's positioning and approached the stone platform. 0

With a light snap of her fingers, a layer of Black Ash covering the stone platform was blown away, revealing the carvings on its surface. 0

These were several commonly used experimental Rune Arrays, most of which were damaged, with only one or two still emitting faint traces of power. 0

As she examined these Rune Arrays, Freya suddenly noticed a slight protrusion in the center of the stone platform. 0

She reached out and gently pressed on that protrusion. 0

With a soft hiss, a faint black halo illuminated the entire stone platform, and a thin crack appeared in the center as if it were about to open. 0

However, this crack only lasted for a second before a red light burst forth from it, and then the stone platform returned to its original state. 0

This left Freya momentarily stunned before she revealed an understanding expression. 0

"It seems it should be hidden underground. However, this kind of defensive mechanism..." 0

After pondering for a moment, Freya placed her right hand directly on the stone platform. 0

A faint light glimmered in her eyes as the Azure Symbol appeared, and a mass of black, fine lightning spilled from her palm. 0

This was Freya's Empowerment Spell for advancing to a Second-Level Wizard, an improved version based on the King Cobra Legacy combined with Second Level Wind Magic and Dark Wind. 0

In addition to retaining the basic properties of Wind Element and the corrosive abilities of Dark Wind, she had incorporated effects such as tearing and collapse. 0

Ultimately, it took on a form similar to Enchantment magic, becoming her own Second Level Empowerment Spell. 0

This empowerment allowed any of her spells to possess these troublesome effects. Although it had not yet undergone specific testing, it was likely not inferior to those of other Second-Level Wizards. 0

The fine black lightning covered the entire stone platform, and then Freya suddenly exerted force. 0

With a light sound, the entire platform revealed the crack in the middle once again under Freya's magical interference. 0

Seeing the crack appear, Freya quickly thrust her hands into it and then pulled hard. 0

With a loud bang, the two massive stone platforms cracked open, revealing a downward passageway. 0

She lightly clapped her hands and then jumped directly into the passageway. 0

The sensation of weightlessness lasted only two seconds before she made contact with the hard ground. 0

It seemed to be a narrow chamber divided into two rooms. 0

On the walls of the room hung a row of white crystal lamps, still glowing with a faint light. 0

In the center of the outer room stood a black desk, cluttered with various items, flanked by some peculiar oil paintings of strange creatures and several black boxes. 0

The floor was covered with various liquids of indeterminate origin, exuding an inexplicable briny smell. 0

After lightly sniffing the air, Freya quickly identified the scent. 0

"This is Human Repair Fluid?" 0

Furrowing her brow, she approached the desk and casually picked up a sheet of paper filled with characters. 0

It contained some general formulas and embedding methods for Secondary Witchcraft Templates. After glancing at it, she set it down. 0

Pausing for a moment, she followed the trail of repair fluid to the innermost room, but when she saw the scene inside, her expression froze slightly. 0

What she saw was a large rectangular glass vessel filled with various translucent, colorful liquids. 0

Behind this vessel were twelve black tubes, six on each side, symmetrically arranged and connected deep into the wall. 0

Inside the vessel, Buckley's tall half-ruined body came into Freya's view. 0

However, compared to her previous encounters, Buckley looked much more miserable now. 0

Most of his body bore charred marks. Fine red scars crisscrossed his skin, oozing drops of blood. 0

The fiery red Bearded Man had also suffered extensive burns; apart from his shiny bald head, there was not a single intact spot on Buckley. 0

The burn area had reached nearly eighty percent, and even a wizard's robust physique found this kind of magical damage to be quite severe. 0

Sensing someone's presence, Buckley's closed eyes moved slightly. He suddenly opened his eyes wide. 0

However, when he saw Freya in front of him, he was momentarily stunned, and then his expression turned extremely ferocious. 0

He violently tore off the tubes attached to his body and opened his Big Mouth to roar, but due to the glass barrier, Freya could not hear him. 0

But in the next moment, the glass container filled with restorative liquid shattered with a loud crash. 0

A large amount of liquid with a strong fishy smell sprayed out, and Freya gently stepped back, surrounded by a circle of Azure Wind to avoid getting wet. 0

"It’s you! I didn’t expect you to come here seeking death! Damn it! Crimson Eagle's trash! Die!!!" 0

The furious shout was accompanied by a powerful surge of energy, and a massive Flame Lion charged forward with the intent to destroy everything. 0

Feeling the intense heat, Freya shook her head and then opened her palm. 0

‘Sizzle!!’ 0

Five Azure Threads mixed with Black Marks tore the seemingly powerful Flame Lion to shreds. 0

Then they pierced into Buckley’s body, which had almost healed, causing blood to spurt out violently. A layer of red aura slowly dissipated as if it were non-existent. 0

The crushing power of a Second-Level Wizard over a First-Level Wizard was indisputable. 0

Looking at Buckley pinned against the wall, Freya spoke directly. 0

"I came here to find you." 0

Before she could finish her sentence, Buckley suddenly spread his arms wide, and two Red Runes flashed before he struck towards Freya from a distance. 0

The surrounding space immediately ignited with countless Crimson flames, causing the temperature in the room to rise significantly. 0

"Die!!!" 0

Seeing Buckley's eyes turn red, Freya frowned slightly. 0

"Have you lost your mind in anger? You can't even tell the difference in strength!" 0

The flames danced and quickly formed a translucent monster, Phantom, which opened its Big Mouth and lunged at Freya. 0

The spell he was casting clearly possessed Second Level power, likely a hidden trump card of Buckley's. 0

Feeling the aura of the monster, Freya's expression suddenly turned cold. 0

"It seems you still haven't grasped the situation. Let me wake you up!" 0

After a pause, she retracted her palm and then suddenly grasped forward. 0

A massive Azure vortex erupted in the air, and a gigantic Azure serpent stretched its head out from the whirlpool. 0

Compared to the translucent monster Buckley summoned, the size of that giant serpent made it look like a pitiful mouse, which was swallowed whole by the serpent's Big Mouth. 0

Then the giant serpent opened its mouth again, spewing forth a thick flame mixed with the translucent remains of the monster, charging towards Buckley. 0

" hiss " 0

The intense burning sound caused Buckley’s entire body to become charred once again, with a large amount of white smoke mixed with blood gushing out from him. 0

Dispersing the magic, Freya looked at Buckley, whose eyes had turned white and was in a dazed state, and kicked him. 0

With a loud 'bang', his back slammed against the wall, and he slowly crumpled down to the ground. 0

With Freya's current physical condition, even without using magic, her strength alone could shatter an ordinary wizard's Silver Defense Shield with a single punch. 0

Looking at Buckley, whose bones were likely shattered in numerous places, Freya stepped on his chest and took out a tube of green liquid from behind her, pouring it over him. 0

Thick smoke rose from his body, and the burns on him received temporary healing. 0

Due to the immense pain caused by the crude Hemostatic Agent, Buckley gradually regained consciousness, his face twisted as he looked at Freya's cold visage. 0

It seemed he had not yet come to terms with what had just happened. 0

Ignoring his current mental state, Freya discarded the Test Tube in her hand and coldly said again, 0

"I'll say this only once: spill everything you know about the Crimson-Eyed Lizard. Otherwise, I won’t hesitate to kill you and imprison your soul to seek help from a Necromancer." 0

Perhaps it was Freya's threat and her serious expression that had an effect; this time Buckley did not attempt any further attacks but nodded obediently. 0

After all, Freya had released the hidden Secret Art that emanated the aura of a Second-Level Wizard; she clearly had the capability. 0

Two hours later, Freya frowned as she left the hidden chamber of Landri. 0

Her boots seemed to be stained with a considerable amount of red liquid, leaving a trail of red footprints as she walked. 0

"To revive the ancient glory and accidentally fallen Wizard Organization, this Crimson-Eyed Lizard is merely a creature that happened to escape," she mused. 0

This Wizard Organization was once quite popular in a certain era, but due to some special reasons, it nearly faced extinction. 0

"If that's the case, then it won't be much help to me," Freya shook her head in disappointment. 0

Although the creatures produced by these organizations possessed Ancient Bloodline, they also had significant technical flaws. The things created were no longer natural life forms, and recklessly using any of the Bloodline could lead to unimaginable consequences. 0

As for why Buckley was interested in the Crimson-Eyed Lizard, he only knew some information and wanted to use it to synthesize some powerful pets. 0

"It seems I still have to follow the path of natural mutation step by step." Freya murmured softly, a thoughtful expression appearing in her eyes. (To be continued) 0
