Chapter Three Hundred Thirteen: 0

With a 'snap', he took the item. 0

After glancing at the object in his hand, he concealed it. 0

"Of course! I will behead them one by one!" 0

Kage's silver eyes revealed deep hatred as he picked up a miniature Blood Eagle Sculpture, slightly raised his right hand, and said in a low voice. 0

"The Fourth and Fifth Elite Squads, follow me!!" 0

As soon as he finished speaking, a large Crimson Giant Eagle soared into the air behind them, quickly flying up. 0

Watching the Guardians' Department take flight, Kage opened his palm, and a red, curved Staff slowly materialized. 0

He coldly glanced at the two behind him as the Staff gently touched the ground. 0

'Swish!' 0

With a faint sound, his body gradually transformed into Azure Wind, bizarrely dissipating right before their eyes. 0

Sensing Kage's departure, the other Silver-Haired Wizard seemed to sense something; a clear blue light flashed across his forehead. He stepped forward and respectfully addressed Elder Three. 0

"Esteemed Elder, my informants have reported that people from Sky City are approaching. Should we intercept them now?" 0

"No need," Elder Three shook his head, then narrowed his eyes and spoke in a chilling tone. "Old Five and Fourth Elder have already gone over. I believe this time the fools from Sky City will understand the true depth of my Blood Eagle Territory!" 0

Although this war appeared to be triggered by Landri killing Kage's only successor, the real reason behind Crimson Eagle had long been guessed by other Wizard Organizations in Crimson Plain. 0

This level of conflict was almost on par with the Sea Tribe. 0

Moreover, combined with the previous war between Cloud City and the Sea Tribe, Sky City's contemptuous attitude towards other Wizard Organizations had already led the higher-ups of Crimson Eagle to entertain different thoughts. 0

The battle below continued, with various war auras being activated one after another. The explosive energy orbs caused the earth to tremble. 0

It was as if a black land of destruction was slowly spreading across this area. 0

The battles among wizards were far more brutal than ordinary military skirmishes; it seemed that this place would be barren for decades to come. 0

A massive amount of energy radiation disrupted the balanced energy in this region, causing all life to gradually wither away. Not only ordinary people, but even low-level apprentices standing on this land would suffer irreversible energy damage. 0

However, it was clear that the duration of the war would not end quickly. 0

... 0

Behind the war, within a translucent white Silver Defense Shield, members of the Rune Department were quickly assembling white cubes taken from silver boxes behind them. 0

The two Deputy Directors of the Rune Department stood in a row, their eyes covered by a faint green glow as they observed the fierce battle ahead. 0

Landri truly lived up to its reputation as a Wizard Organization second only to Crimson Eagle. After an initial blow, it quickly counterattacked. 0

Their combat troops mostly rode on Demonized Creatures resembling White-Horned Deer, fiercely rising up in resistance. 0

Among them, a Tall Wizard dressed in a yellow Robe, with red hair and black eyes, stood out the most. The land around him gathered five massive Stone Giants under the influence of his Empowerment Spell, clearing a wide area with absolute power. 0

These Stone Giants, with their enormous size and strong resistance, were practically immune to ordinary spells. 0

Even when hit by a Dispel Spell, all it took was for the wizard to cast a Rock Repair Spell, and they would be as good as new. 0

Meilong watched the wizard shining brightly on the battlefield and smiled lightly, speaking with a hint of nostalgia. 0

"Ah. Isn't that Landrilaila's son? I didn't expect him to grow to this extent in just over a decade." 0

"Really? You know him?" said a Male Wizard beside him with a chuckle. 0

"Yes." Meilong nodded. "His mother studied runes under me for a while; I consider her half my student." 0

"Should we let him go for now?" 0

"Forget it." Meilong waved his hand casually. "Just kill him. It's been over ten years since I last saw his mother; I don't even know if she's alive or dead." 0

Without further discussion, the Wizard turned to look at the massive tower that was about to connect behind them and called out loudly to an old white-haired Old Wizard not far away. 0

"Hilt, the testing position is at thirteen o'clock. Over by the Rock Golem." 0

"Understood, my lord." 0

Soon, the White Tower stood tall, and many wizards stepped back slightly. Four wizards moved forward and placed their hands on the tower's walls. 0

A layer of fine White Light flashed, and then the Rune Tower slowly coalesced a beam of white light. 0

"First layer charging test completed." 0

"Manual direction calibration, thirteen o'clock position confirmed, target locked." 0

"Incandescent Sword No. 3 is ready and can be fired at any time." 0

Hearing the reports from the four wizards, Meilong nodded lightly, while the Wizard waved his hand. 0

Upon receiving the command, the top of the Rune Tower emitted a whoosh as the long-formed White Light beam shot out directly. 0

The Yellow Robe Wizard, still engaged in fierce combat, felt the surrounding Crimson Eagle wizard forces suddenly thin out, followed by a pure white light column crashing down towards him. 0

The high temperature almost instantly turned the five Rock Golems around him into crystallized remnants. 0

As he came into contact with the light column, a rainbow-colored defensive glow erupted around him, but it only held for two seconds before he was completely vaporized. In the spot where he stood, a pile of charred ashes slowly dispersed. 0

This highly concentrated energy attack could not be resisted by wizards below Fourth-Level without preparation. 0

Even with numerous defensive Cursed Items and protective spells, they could only endure for a little longer. 0

Meanwhile, this type of Rune Tower had been quietly constructed under the cover of the main forces. 0

Any powerful wizard from Landri was immediately killed to prevent casualties among most of the wizards of Crimson Eagle. 0

Apart from the Rune Department, other departments of Crimson Eagle also brought forth their formidable strengths to deal with Landri. 0

Such a level of warfare technology was likely beyond the imagination of Sky City. 0

The sky was filled with layers of Crimson Giant Eagles, and one by one, the fierce guardian team members swooped down towards the wizards below. 0

In a remote area of the battlefield, a loud boom echoed as a massive Red Crocodile and a yellow Sandworm appeared on the battlefield. 0

Isaac stood atop the crocodile's head, grinning widely to reveal his jagged teeth. In his hand, he held a gigantic pair of scissors crackling with black lightning, his crimson eyes fixed intently on the equally gigantic Sandworm before him. 0

"Hehehehe, Jon! Remember today; today is your day to die!" 0

The Sandworm opened its large mouth filled with sharp fangs. A deep, rumbling sound emanated from its throat. 0

"You're the damned fool! Isaac, you idiot!" 0

As soon as the words left his mouth, a large mass of black oily liquid erupted from its gaping maw. 0

"Let's see who's the fool!! Sand Armor!" 0

As the obviously decaying oil-like substance splattered onto it, the massive Red Crocodile suddenly raised its head. The yellow sand on the ground quickly covered its body, and then, leveraging the crocodile's powerful striking force, it opened its Big Mouth and lunged forward to bite. 0

In an instant, all the wizards tacitly moved away from the battlefield between the two monsters. 0

Battles like this were happening all over the battlefield. 0

Standing under the translucent Silver Defense Shield, Freya felt the extraordinary Wizard War unfolding before her. Although she had mentally prepared herself, she was still unexpectedly shocked when faced with the scale of such a conflict. 0

Even with her current abilities, surviving in this war would require considerable effort. 0

Any wizard who stood out even slightly would be swiftly targeted by the opposing forces, while more powerful wizards would face even stronger adversaries. 0

This war was no longer about who had more people or resources; it had gradually evolved into a contest where individual power represented everything. 0

A sufficiently powerful wizard could change the course of a war. 0

From what Freya knew, aside from the Elder Three, it seemed that several other department heads had also arrived here, quietly hunting down Landri's High-ranking Officials. 0

If nothing unexpected occurred, the outcome of this war against Landri was already predetermined. 0

What they were focused on was only the attitude and determination of Sky City. 0

However, that was not what Freya was concerned about. Her current task was simply to aim the Rune Tower at each threatening wizard and eliminate them directly. 0

... 0

Far away from the war zone, the crimson grassland lay in disarray, dotted with craters from explosions. 0

A charred corpse lay scattered on the ground, emitting a faint scent of burnt flesh. 0

Two young wizards, dressed in half armor and draped in white cloaks, looked at the Crimson Eagle’s Fourth Elder and Five Elder with expressions that fluctuated between fear and anger. 0

One of the wizards, with a look of dread on his face as he stared at the corpse on the ground, spoke in a chilling tone. 0

“Crimson Eagle, what do you mean by this!? You have killed an Official Wizard of Sky City. Aren't you afraid of facing retribution!?” 0

“Retribution?” The Fourth Elder smiled slightly as if he had heard a joke. “If you want retribution, then first bring forth the war reparations for the Sea Tribe. Otherwise, who will know that we killed the wizard from Sky City?” 0

“Are you trying to oppose Sky City??” The young wizard took a step back, visibly terrified. 0

“We—” 0

Just as the Fourth Elder was about to say something, the Five Elder beside him raised his right hand and pulled out a red Crystal, crushing it fiercely. 0

The shards of the Crystal transformed into streams of red liquid that covered his right hand, gathering a massive surge of energy rapidly. 0

“Why waste time talking to them? Just kill them!” 0

The two wizards from Sky City felt a strong killing intent from the Five Elder’s words and immediately understood the meaning behind Crimson Eagle’s actions. 0

They exchanged glances and without hesitation transformed into two streaks of white lightning, fleeing in the original direction. 0

However, they had barely made it far when a dense red Barrier suddenly illuminated around them, causing the two who had just elementalized to fall from mid-air. 0

"Element Isolation?" 0

In astonishment, a gigantic red hand directly covered the heads of the two individuals and then slammed down with a thunderous crash. 0

The lives of the two powerful Third-Rank Wizards ended without them doing anything. 0

Fourth Elder helplessly watched as Five Elder retracted his hand, then lightly snapped his fingers. The surrounding Barrier quickly shrank into a simple red ring that flew into his hand. 0

"Can you change your temper next time? If I hadn't acted in time, those two would have escaped!" 0

"Hmph!" 0

In response to Fourth Elder's complaint, Five Elder snorted coldly and turned away, dissipating into countless sparks that vanished into the air. 0

"This guy!" 0

Watching the sparks fall onto the grass, Fourth Elder shook his head in disbelief. 0

Not far away, the two corpses had been turned into mush, deeply embedded in the ground. 0

Glancing at the gruesome remains, Fourth Elder did not linger. After a pause, he transformed into Azure Wind Flow and quickly disappeared. 0

The death of an Official Wizard in Sky City would always result in a dying image being transmitted within Sky City. 0

However, such things held no deterrent power for the current Crimson Eagle. 0

After all, they had already decided to sever ties with Crimson Plain and Cloud City, directly ignoring the situation. 0

... 0

Two months later. 0

The war with Landri had completely ended. 0

Under the gloomy sky, light red raindrops fell, washing over the scorched earth. 0

During the war, after the extermination of the wizard from Sky City, three powerful Dawn Wizards emerged from Sky City. 0

However, after meeting with the Grand Elder and the mysterious Second Elder in a secluded area, Sky City acknowledged Crimson Plain as the territory of Crimson Eagle. 0

They also signed a mysterious treaty. 0

Thus, the eradication of Landri wizards was completely concluded, and the forces of Crimson Eagle began to retreat to their headquarters. 0

Everything returned to calm. 0

However, for others, it was an end, but for Freya, it was not over yet. 0

On the devastated battlefield, Freya, dressed in a white robe with red edges, walked quietly as strands of red Thin Line occasionally drifted towards her and merged into her body. 0

It was as if the souls that had not passed on were lingering in the battlefield. 0

The blood of the wizards left behind on the battlefield was drawn by the King Cobra absorption technique that activated on her body. 0

Feeling a slight increase in her mental power, Freya calmly scanned the ruins of the buildings not far away. 0

That was the headquarters of Landri, or rather, it used to be. 0

Although the Grand Elder executed a purge, not all were killed; in fact, a significant portion of the lower-level wizards from Landri survived this war. 0

Their sense of belonging to Landri was not as strong as that of the mid- to high-ranking members, and for the future development of Crimson Plain, it was impossible to eliminate them all. 0

After all, senseless slaughter brings no benefit to anyone. 0

Looking at the charred ruins, Freya paused for a moment, took out a silver Token from behind her, and gently pressed the button on its back. 0

After a flash of dense blue light, a Blue Light point and a red dot appeared in her field of vision. (To be continued) 0
