The slit pupils are crimson, with a faint trace of black in the center, resembling a coiled black serpent, staring at her with its inverted triangular eyes.

She twirled the Scalpel in her hand and lightly exhaled. With her empty hand, she slapped next to the magic circle.
With a hiss, a burst of red light instantly enveloped the eyeball.

Suddenly, Freya felt a powerful thrust from the knife in her hand, as if it were trying to push the Scalpel out of the eyeball.
Accompanying this thrust was a wave of intense mental fluctuations.
Visible ripples spread out in circles but were blocked by the red light of the magic circle.
"The instinctual response that exists at the deepest level has indeed endured through so many generations; it truly is something from the Abyss World."
With a sigh in her heart, Freya slightly narrowed her eyes and forcefully twisted the tightly gripped knife.
With a tearing sound, a crack appeared in the eyeball.
Freya then quickly pulled out a strange insect she had prepared from her waist pouch and stuffed it into the crack while rapidly reciting an incantation.
"Cursed Kershtarikarces! Devour it! Corrode it!"
As Freya murmured, a series of rustling sounds erupted.
The strange insect inside the eyeball opened its circular mouth and began to gnaw at the surrounding Crystal. In just a few seconds, it had already consumed half of the upright pupil.
As the Slit Pupils were destroyed, the continuously emanating mental fluctuations gradually faded away.
Feeling that it was about time, Freya stopped the incantation.
Without the support of mental energy, the strange insect immediately let out a sharp chirping sound and soon transformed into black smoke, completely disappearing.
Freya looked at the remaining half of the Slit Pupils and the Black Serpent Rune that was entwined within them.
