"I am Freyja from the Black Forest Family. Do you have a moment? I would like to request a meeting with you privately."
Although the woman's voice outside the door was deliberately calm, Freya could still detect a hint of tremor in it.
Knowing who was outside, she vaguely understood that Ms. Freya from the Black Forest had come to visit her for a reason.
She glanced at the boy lying unconscious on the bed. Without any pretense, Freya opened the door.
With a click, the door swung open.
Ms. Freya, dressed in a black silk gown and wearing a mask, stood quietly at the entrance.
Freya looked her up and down and said flatly, "I wonder why Ms. Freya has suddenly come to find me?"
Taking a gentle breath to calm the ripples in her heart, Freyja responded in a similarly indifferent tone while looking at the slightly taller young witch.
"I heard that Lady Freya unexpectedly acquired a boy ten days ago. I have some connections with him and would like to know if you could..."
Before Freyja could finish her sentence, Freya waved her hand to interrupt.
She smiled and said directly, "Hehe, I understand what Ms. Freya means. However, you may not know that that boy is equally important to me."
For Freya's impolite interruption, Freyja felt no dissatisfaction. Yet upon hearing the latter part of her statement, she fell silent for a moment before raising her head, her gaze revealing a hint of determination.
Chapter Two Hundred Thirteen:
"However, if it's something special, it might be worth a try."
Thinking about the special substance that had been decomposed, Freya took out a unique Sphere container from behind her and carefully placed the layer of blue membrane inside with tweezers.
This special Bloodline power was not much of a secret for wizards. Generally, any wizard who had lived long enough would accumulate many powerful trump cards over time.
Of course, this was relative.
For instance, Rocis, who had previously faced Freya, was likely an exception. His type of wizard was only formidable in some remote areas; once he entered a larger gathering of wizards, he would be just at the bottom tier.
Finding the possibility to decompose Bloodline power, Freya quickly processed the remaining blood in several Test Tubes and waited for the new blood of the boy to slowly generate.
After all, her journey was still long, and she had plenty of energy and time to experiment on this boy from the Lotus Tribe along the way.
Time passed slowly during the experiments and various Spell optimizations.
Occasionally, Lani would wake up from her dreams and chat with Freya for a few moments.
Although their conversations were not frequent, through their exchanges, Freya subtly confirmed the changes happening at Elgreen Academy.
As for Lani's feelings towards Freya, perhaps due to trust, their interactions were quite pleasant.
Naturally, Lani did not pry into the presence of another unfamiliar boy who was also asleep in the room.
Freya happily placed another blue membrane extracted from Bloodline into the Sphere.
After more than ten consecutive extractions, the blue membranes in the Sphere container had accumulated to a certain extent, nearly allowing Freya to create what she envisioned.
Meanwhile, the unconscious Del had not woken up during this time, but he was still in a relatively healthy state.
However, if one were to closely observe the special mark on the back of his neck, they would notice that it had faded significantly.
This was a sign that the Bloodline was gradually being drawn out.
Nevertheless, with Freya's rudimentary extraction method, it would likely take at least five to six years to completely extract all of Rost's Bloodline power. This was a conservative estimate.
She easily placed the Sphere container back into her waist pouch and tidied up her experimental tools.
Just as Freya was about to proceed with her routine optimization of the Spell, there was a sudden knock at the door.
"Knock, knock, knock."
"Is Lady Freya there?"
A slightly hoarse female voice came from outside the door.
Hearing this voice, Freya frowned slightly.
She had specifically instructed Hanks not to let anyone disturb her during her experiments unless it was urgent, yet someone had come to visit unexpectedly. Moreover, it was a woman.
After thinking for a moment, she quietly asked, "Who are you?"
"I understand, but that boy is more important to me. I sincerely hope you can return him to me, and in exchange, I will offer you something of value that will satisfy you."
"Oh? Value?" Freya blinked.
To be fair, Rost's Bloodline was merely a card for Freya to play.
The claim made by Rocis that this blood could enhance promotion chances was nothing more than a rumor circulating outside.
After all, it was no longer the era where Ancient Wizards promoted through Bloodline Power; today's wizards focused on the enhancement of soul and life levels.
If a single type of blood could allow a wizard to promote, then even if the Rost Tribe was difficult for Forest Hunters to capture, they would still be seen as an existence that could be exterminated by powerful Wizard Organizations.
Perhaps noticing Freya's slightly relaxed expression, Freyja spoke in a somewhat subdued voice.
"Yes, something not inferior to Rost's Bloodline. But before that, wouldn't you like to invite me inside for a sit?"
"Is that so?"
Standing at the door, Freya squinted at the woman who appeared to be only twenty-seven or twenty-eight years old.
After a long moment, she slightly turned to the side and revealed a faint smile.
"Alright, please come in."
"You are too kind."
Once Freyja entered the cabin, Freya slammed the door shut behind her.
Having just completed an experiment, although everything had been cleaned up, there still lingered a faint smell of seawater in the room.
The wooden rack holding the blood-filled test tubes, which had not yet been put away, was somewhat glaring under the light.
However, this was not the most critical thing for Freyja, as she immediately noticed the Rost Youth lying on the bed.
The tense expression on her face showed signs of breaking down.
Freya slightly leaned against the doorway, observing Freyja's emotions. Through subtle mental sensing, she had already grasped all of her movements clearly.
Moreover, judging by the extremely similar appearances of the boy and Freyja, anyone who still doubted their relationship would truly be foolish.
After a pause, she waved her hand, and two high-back chairs along with a round table automatically moved over.
Freya walked to the round table and took a seat, gesturing to the other chair for Freyja to join her.
"Alright, let's talk now. What equivalent value do you have? You should know that aside from this boy's bloodline, I put in a lot of effort to acquire him."
Adjusting her emotions, Freyja nodded.
"Of course, I am aware of this." (To be continued...)
