Purple grass was distributed into everyone's hands. 0

Freya gently pinched the seemingly ordinary grass in her hand, a faint meaty scent mixed with a strange minty odor emanated from the leaves. 0

"The allure of Scorpion Grass for Scorpion is somewhat similar to the effect of catnip in my past life, but it is much stronger than catnip. It seems Rand's preparations are quite thorough." 0

Freya toyed with the grass in her hand, casting a deep glance at the departing figures of Aishebun and Lena, before rising to head in a similar direction. 0

There were many large pits at the edge of Abyssal Lake, and the pit Rand was looking for, about one meter in diameter, was related to the size of the Flame Scorpion. 0

Freya was about ten meters away from Aishebun and Lena. Although she appeared to be searching for the Flame Scorpion, her gaze never left the two. 0

As they separated, she noticed that the two companions who had always been close were now silent. 0

Aishebun had put away his usual smile and walked with a calm expression in a certain direction, while Lena silently followed closely behind him with an expressionless face. 0

Watching their direction, Freya paused for a moment, took out her original clever Test Tube from her waist pouch, opened the cap, poured some liquid into her hand, rubbed it slightly, and then applied it to her body. 0

A faint White Light flickered and vanished on her. 0

Feeling the stable Energy Particles within her slowly assimilating into the surrounding energy aura, Freya satisfactorily put away the empty Test Tube. 0

"Phosphorescent Solution not only effectively neutralizes Negative Energy from the Necromancy Department but also can confuse my own energy aura with the surrounding air's energy for a certain period. What was originally considered a negative effect is just right for me now." 0

Staring at the two who had not gone far, Freya took a deep breath. A gentle breeze began to gather around her. 0

If Freya, close to Great Knight level, wanted to hide, even a Third-Rank Apprentice would not be able to detect her. After all, these individuals belonged to a semi-scholarly status and were not specialized in combat. 0

Deliberately concealing her presence, Freya moved forward in the blind spot of the two. 0

As the distance from the others increased, Aishebun quickened his pace significantly. 0

Freya observed her surroundings; although she was still in the area of Abyssal Lake, the volume and number of rocks in her current location were much greater than before. It resembled a Stone Forest made up of piled rocks. 0

Aishebun walked slowly through this Stone Forest, as if confirming his direction. 0

After turning around a massive rock, he suddenly stopped. 0

In front of him was a rare open space devoid of anything. The flat ground was not naturally formed; it had crooked lines etched upon it. 0

He crouched down and gently wiped the lines, his expression darkening considerably. 0

Suddenly, he took out a Red Crystal from his waist. Placing it in the center of the open space, he murmured an unknown incantation. 0

Hidden not far away, Freya noticed his actions and frowned slightly. 0

She recognized that red crystal; it was a common Fire Element Energy Storage Crystal. Apprentices or wizards specializing in Fire Element Spells often carried such crystals to assist with their casting. However, Freya did not understand the language Aishebun was chanting. 0

Among all the casting languages, she had only learned Elvish and Abyssal Language, and Aishebun's incantation clearly did not belong to either of these. 0

As he chanted in a low voice, the red crystal on the ground slowly melted into a red liquid that began to flow into the crevices. A faint sense of heat emanated from that direction. 0

With a soft snap of fingers, Lena, who had been following closely behind Aishebun, suddenly trembled. Her lively eyes turned pitch black, and then her expression became dazed as she walked toward the increasingly red-tinged lines. 0

Red lines gradually appeared on Lena's face as she moved, as if countless thin red ropes were tied from head to toe. Vivid red blood flowed from those lines, merging with the liquid formed from crystals and seeping into the gaps. 0

"What is this..." Freya frowned slightly. 0

Although she didn't know what Aishebun was doing, Freya noticed Lena's momentary dazed expression. Having spent a long time as an assistant in the Necromancy Department's laboratory, she had seen this Necromancy Spell before under Leander the Mentor. 0

It was a Corpse Storage Spell that only Third-Rank Apprentices could learn. This spell was designed to ensure the vitality of a corpse, allowing it to be controlled by the caster for a period of time after death, and it was classified as a Zero-Level Spell. 0

Freya never expected Aishebun would use this spell, intended for experimental creatures, on Lena. Moreover, he seemed to have applied some other spells from the Necromancy Department that allowed Lena to appear just like an ordinary person during this process. 0

'Crack!' 0

The red light grew more intense as Aishebun's unknown incantation rose in pitch. A sound resembling a fracture echoed in front of him. 0

A Red Stone Gate suddenly materialized before him. Seeing the appearance of the stone gate, Aishebun's face lit up with joy, and he quickened his chanting speed. 0

At that moment, Lena stood in the center, her blood completely drained. Next, her flesh, organs, and bones rapidly dissolved into the gaps like wax melting away. 0

Once Lena had fully dissolved, the stone gate transformed from hazy to clear. A mingling aura of Fire Element energy and Negative Energy from the Necromancy Department wafted through the air. 0

Even Freya, hidden in the shadows, felt a wave of suffocation wash over her, her expression shifting from calm to shock. 0

The Red Stone Gate appeared to be composed of countless pieces of flesh and blood, with thick veins twisting across its surface, writhing slowly as the red light gradually faded. 0

Aishebun's chanting continued. 0

'Tear!' 0

As the lengthy chant of Aishebun reached its conclusion, the living Red Stone Gate suddenly swung open with a thunderous sound. Rows of menacing giant teeth lined the top and bottom of the stone door, followed by two enormous, fierce heads emerging with their eyes closed. 0

These heads resembled oversized, skinned dog heads, with blood-red fangs bared, and a heavy stench of blood and sulfur erupted from their nostrils. 0

"What kind of monster is this!" Freya exclaimed, wide-eyed as she stared at the creatures extending from the stone door. Her instincts urged her to flee, filling her heart with an overwhelming fear. 0

A simple Magic Pet Mission had unexpectedly led to such bizarre entities. Moreover, Aishebun had clearly summoned them for other purposes. 0

Despite her instinctive urge to escape, her resilient willpower overcame her inner terror. Aishebun was merely a Third-Rank Apprentice, yet he maintained his composure in the face of such high-level beings, even revealing a deep sense of joy in his eyes, clearly unafraid. 0

Just as Aishebun was about to make his next move, one of the Two-Headed Hound's eyelids suddenly flickered. It seemed on the verge of awakening. 0

This sudden change caused Aishebun to pause momentarily, cold sweat trickling down his forehead. 0

However, the dog head appeared to only be indicating it was about to wake up; it did not open its eyes. Before long, it returned to its previous state. 0

Watching the dog head collapse back into its original form, Freya let out a heavy sigh of relief from her hidden spot. No other Official Wizard had ever made her feel this way. 0

Moreover, she had vaguely guessed the origin of such creatures earlier, which made her want to retreat even more. 0

However, just as Freya began to slowly back away, Aishebun suddenly turned around, his face dark as he shouted towards her direction. 0

"Come out! I've noticed you hiding like a rat. If you wake this guy up now, we're all finished!" 0

His words made Freya's heart skip a beat; she didn't understand when he had detected her presence. 0

Yet as she hesitated, a transparent figure suddenly shifted beside another concealed boulder. Then a quiet girl in a Gray Robe appeared there, holding a thick book. 0

"I didn't expect you to find out!" Lani calmly looked at Aishebun as she put the book back into Gray Robe. 0

"Heh heh. Lani, I didn't expect you to bring your grandfather's secret book here. Did you know my intentions from the start?" Aishebun faced Lani with a nonchalant expression. 0

"I was only suspicious before, but when I heard that idiot brother of yours was trying to capture the Crimson Snow Bat, I became more certain. The disappearance incident at Abyssal Lake was really related to you?" 0

"And so what if it is? When faced with this Resource Point, wouldn't you be tempted? Those guys were originally planning to defect from the academy and monopolize it. I just cleared the way ahead of time. The door is already open, and the anger of your brother and his companions outside is enough to attract this guy's attention. As long as we go in together and obtain everything inside, even if we're hunted by our families and pursued by the academy, it will be worth it!" 0

Upon hearing this, Freya, who had been relieved not to be discovered, suddenly tensed up. From his tone, it was clear that it was time to use their group. 0

However, Lani merely shook her head gently. 0

"What's wrong? Are you unwilling? Since you know my purpose, you must also know what’s inside here. Isn’t that enough to tempt you?" Aishebun's voice turned cold, sounding eerie. 0

But this statement caused Lani to change from her usual calm demeanor to one filled with intense hatred as she shouted, "Aishebun, do you know that among those who were designed to be killed by you at Abyssal Lake, one of them was a Third-Rank Apprentice who had the same talent as you? He tragically died here because of your selfish desires. If it weren't for you..." 0

Aishebun looked at Lani in surprise, suddenly realizing something. His lips moved slightly, "You are from Constant... You really are..." 0

Without answering Aishebun's words, Lani suddenly raised her Communication Ring, and a stream of mental energy flashed above it. 0

Seeing Lani's action, Aishebun, who was initially surprised, quickly understood what was happening; Lani was directly sending their conversation to others. 0

"You damn it!! Bitch!!!" An enraged Aishebun extended his hand, and a black staff slowly emerged from his grasp, emanating a chilling aura of death. 0

Suddenly, he turned around and pointed heavily at the still-closed Two-Headed Hound, a low chant began to escape his lips. 0

"It's an Awakening Spell!" Lani shouted loudly towards Freya's hidden direction. "Freya! Quickly stop him!" 0

Although both of them were following Aishebun, Lani's ability to become invisible clearly deceived Freya, so it was not surprising that she was discovered. 0

Upon hearing Lani's call, Freya didn't have time to think and rushed directly towards Aishebun, her aura suddenly erupting and stirring up a whirlwind of debris. 0

If he successfully cast his spell, the consequences of awakening that monster would be unpredictable for anyone. 0

The Cross Sword was drawn with a clang, fiery red energy clinging to it as Freya, moving at high speed, unleashed a long Fire Serpent. 0

The massive buzzing sound combined with the clang of metal echoed throughout the Stone Forest. Freya, drenched in cold sweat, stared at the black semicircular shield on the Cross Sword and at Aishebun inside, who was still chanting incantations. 0

Suddenly, her gaze sharpened, and the previously chaotic aura abruptly contracted, followed by an even more formidable force erupting. 0
