Sea Tribe Attack Incident - Five Hours 0

Inside the luxurious restaurant on the ship. 0

After completing her routine meditation, Freya casually walked to a seat with a plate full of food and began to eat slowly. 0

Due to being at sea, most of the food on the ship was seafood. Although the chef's cooking skills were excellent, eating too much seafood could become overwhelming, so her plate mostly contained green vegetables and a few golden grilled fish. 0

The restaurant was large and elegantly decorated, but aside from Freya, there were only two or three other diners, all seated quite far away from her. 0

Just as she had not taken more than a few bites, a figure approached from behind and placed a plate across from her. 0

“Freya, I'm also eating alone. Do you mind if I sit here?” 0

It was an ordinary boy dressed in brown swordsman attire, around fourteen or fifteen years old. His voice was somewhat hoarse due to puberty, but his demeanor was friendly and had a sunny quality. 0

Although he asked for permission, the boy smiled directly and sat down without waiting for an answer. 0

Freya looked at the boy across from her with some exasperation. She lightly tapped her knife against her plate to indicate his impolite behavior but did not say anything to chase him away. 0

This ordinary boy was someone she had met by chance in the training room after the Sea Tribe Attack Incident. His name was Francis Buckland. 0

He had boarded the ship at the previous Maya Port and was also an apprentice heading to the Wizard Academy, just with a different destination than Freya. 0

However, while Francis shared the same status as Freya, he knew much more than she did about their situation. 0

In fact, most of what she knew about this ship's circumstances came from him. 0

After Francis initiated the conversation, both of them continued to eat silently. During this time, two more diners left the already sparsely populated restaurant. 0

Now, only the two of them remained in the vast dining area. 0

After a while, after finishing a live squid, Francis finally couldn't help but speak up. 0

“By the way, Freya, it's been a while and I still don't know where you're headed.” 0

"I am going to the Aelgreen Wizard Academy," Freya said calmly. 0

Over the past few days, she had come to understand a bit about Fran Sith's familiar personality; aside from being somewhat talkative, he was actually a simple young man. 0

"Aelgreen, huh?" Fran Sith picked up a bowl of thick soup and blew on it lightly. After thinking for a moment, he said, "I think I've heard of that organization. It's located near the Dias Mountains, and there are only two medium-sized countries separating it from where I need to go. It seems quite close." 0

"Oh? You know about Aelgreen?" Freya raised her head slightly, putting down her food and asking curiously, "Do you know any specific information about this organization?" 0

"Well..." Fran Sith chuckled awkwardly. "Actually, I only know its general location. Wizard organizations are very secretive; it's hard to learn much unless you're part of them. However, I can tell you that you'll arrive in about ten days, while I will take three or four days longer than you." 0

His answer was expected. 0

Freya frowned slightly. "...It still takes ten days." 0

Given the speed of the Giant Ship, they were already very far from Dragon Harbor. If she were to return by a regular carriage, it would take years. 0

"Actually, that's quite fast," Fran Sith comforted her upon seeing her expression. "You should know that some wizard organizations are even farther away. I've heard that some special wizards are active in the polar regions, and as far as I know, there are two people on this ship heading there. It takes half a year to reach that destination." 0

"Uh... half a year..." 0

Freya was somewhat speechless; it was hard to imagine that someone would need to stay on this ship for half a year to reach their destination. However, she turned to Fran Sith with curiosity. 0

"By the way, how do you know so much?" 0

"It's nothing much. I'm actually a second son who was exiled due to my family's misfortune. Now that my family has recovered, I have the opportunity to return," Fran Sith said with a shrug, seemingly unbothered by his identity. 0

"Family? Are you from the Elk Wizard Family?" 0

"Yeah, just a family like any other. If you're interested, you could abandon Aelgreen Academy and join my family instead; I guarantee you won't be treated poorly," Fran Sith said casually, but his gaze toward Freya held an inexplicable sense of expectation. 0

Through subtle probing during their interactions, he had learned some details about Freya. She possessed the strength of a Knight's Pinnacle along with third-level wizard qualifications. This made her an elite-level apprentice even within some large wizard organizations. Although her personality was overly rational, it could also be seen as an advantage. 0

If he could bring Freya into his family, it would surely benefit them greatly. Moreover, his promise of not treating her poorly was genuine. 0

Freya looked at Fran Sith's sincere and expectant gaze, knowing that he was not joking. It was just about the contract between Hegel and her, so she slightly shook her head and smiled. 0

"Never mind, I promised someone to go to Elgreen, so... if there's a chance, I will visit your family." 0

"Oh, oh~ that's really a pity." Fran Sith made an exaggerated expression. "But really, even though I don't understand the details of that organization in Elgreen, I do know that the Dias Mountains area often has Wizard Wars. If you can't make it there, you can come to my place. As the second son of Francis Buckland, you are always welcome." 0

"Hehe, it's settled then. If I really go, don't back out." Freya was taken aback by Fran Sith's exaggerated expression but then replied with a smile. 0

"Of course." 0

Although they had only known each other for a short time, Freya could sense Fran Sith's sincerity towards her. There were no special feelings involved; it was simply the pure friendship that comes from encountering someone mutually appreciated in the vast sea of life. 0

"By the way, do you know what kind of power those black-robed people on this ship use? Are they wizards too?" Freya suddenly recalled the strange powers used by the black-robed individuals during the Sea Tribe attack and asked. 0

"Oh, those? They are not wizards; they are Undead Warriors cultivated by the Elk Family using sorcery. They exist somewhere between knights and wizards. Their potential has been exhausted by sorcery, granting them formidable strength. In essence, they are just a group of warriors without potential, at most reaching the level of Knight's Pinnacle, which cannot be compared to us who have limitless potential," Fran Sith replied slowly, a hint of disdain showing in his eyes. 0

"Oh, so they are between wizards and knights... I see now," Freya nodded, beginning to understand. 0
