"Perhaps their identities are similar to mine."
Freya thought to herself.
However, she noticed that the brooches on the chests of this group of people were quite different from hers, indicating they were not issued from the same place.
The cloaked figures arrived just as the gangway was lowered.
The people who had been waiting for a long time silently lined up to board the ship one by one.
After watching for a while, Freya withdrew her gaze and left the gunwale, intending to return to her room.
Although Hegel had suggested that she engage more with these fellow students, everyone had different purposes, and since they were not related, no one would trust anyone else.
Once back in her room, Freya tidied up her belongings and began to meditate.
In just five hours, she had gradually managed to meditate on fourteen runes and could faintly control a trace of energy particles in the air to enhance herself. She anticipated that once she could meditate on fifteen runes, the improvements would be even greater.
More importantly, it seemed that the Ice Blue Earrings she always wore had begun to exhibit some of their functions due to her gradual physical changes.
This was her greatest achievement so far.
It is worth noting that she had already experienced the immense power of the Ice Blue Earrings. This cursed item was considered a rare treasure in Hegel's eyes; even if she could only use part of its abilities now, its effects still left Freya very satisfied.
Ten minutes passed quickly. The ship shook violently while Freya was meditating, indicating they had departed from the port.
Outside her door, there were occasional faint footsteps and sounds of doors opening, but soon these noises quieted down.
The people who boarded did not affect Freya at all; her life continued as usual—reading books, practicing swordsmanship, and meditating. Even when she occasionally encountered boys with similar identities, they all tacitly avoided each other without any intention of making acquaintances.
Half a month later.
On the brown deck, Freya, dressed in casual attire, sat on a chair holding a fishing rod borrowed from the sailors. Next to her was an empty iron bucket for storing fish, giving her a relaxed appearance.
A few days ago, she could still pass the time by practicing her swordsmanship and reading biographies, but after finishing everything on the bookshelf, she realized there was nothing else to do besides practicing sword techniques and meditating.
Her meditation time was fixed, and excessive training could harm her brain and mental strength. Moreover, with her increasing strength, she had gradually begun to grasp a hint of the path to becoming a Great Knight, understanding that it was not a realm that could be reached through relentless training alone.
Thus, in order to find something to occupy herself and avoid going stir-crazy, she chose fishing as a way to relieve her boredom.
However, perhaps due to the speed of the Giant Ship, she had spent nearly half an hour without catching a single fish.
In the distance, sunlight reflected off the calm sea surface like a blue mirror, with large fish resembling dolphins occasionally leaping out of the water. A gentle sea breeze blew by; today seemed to be a good day.
Aside from Freya fishing, on the other side of the deck at the gunwale, two young individuals around her age were engaged in conversation. As they chatted, they unexpectedly embraced each other.
Due to the direction of the sea breeze, Freya's position allowed her to faintly hear their snippets of conversation.
"Tonight... in the room... can you come..."
"...Really? But you can't... there are others... that's so bad..."
Freya rolled her eyes at the two young people; it was clear what they were implying.
Since she wasn't catching any fish anyway, Freya considered leaving to avoid disturbing them when a robust sailor in a white sailor suit and a red bandana approached her quickly.
"Excuse me, ma'am. We are about to experience a storm shortly. If you have no other matters to attend to, please return to your cabin. It is best not to come out during the storm," the sailor said respectfully after bowing.
"You mean there's going to be a storm?" Freya asked, looking up at the clear blue sky with no clouds in sight.
"Yes, ma'am. Although it is calm now, rain clouds will arrive shortly," the sailor explained earnestly.
"Alright, thank you for your advice. I was just about to head back," Freya nodded and put away her Fishing Rod.
She understood that the sea could be unpredictable, but she was slightly puzzled by the sudden storm forecasted by the Sailors.
After receiving Freya's response, the Sailors walked over to the two people not far away.
After returning the fishing gear to the Sailors, Freya went straight back to her room.
However, it wasn't long before...
Outside, what was once a sunny sky was quickly overshadowed by a thick Thundercloud.
With the Thundercloud covering the sky, the light in the room became somewhat dim. Freya stood by the round window, looking out at the sea.
The Calm Sea Surface that had just been tranquil was now starting to churn, and the dark sky beneath the ominous Thundercloud resembled night.
The rising waves even caused the Giant Ship to sway slightly.
Crash!
Suddenly, a flash of lightning illuminated the gloomy sky, followed by a rumbling sound like a prelude to a storm. After the thunderclap, heavy raindrops began to fall rapidly.
The dense rain pounded against the round window as if someone were pouring water from above. The howling sea wind carried a continuous 'pata pata' sound.
However, despite how fierce the storm appeared, the Giant Ship only swayed slightly earlier and then stabilized again.
Standing by the window, Freya felt as if the ship was enveloped by a mysterious force that kept it unaffected amidst the raging storm.
"It seems this is also the power of a wizard..." Freya thought with some admiration.
The storm outside showed no signs of letting up anytime soon. Just as Freya turned to meditate, the previously stable Giant Ship suddenly jolted, as if it had collided with something.
This unexpected change caused her to quickly brace herself against the nearby wall to steady her balance.
"What’s happening?"
She turned her gaze out the window and was startled to see several massive dark figures rising and falling on the turbulent Calm Sea Surface, seemingly unaffected by the storm.
A flash of lightning illuminated the scene, brightening the dark Calm Sea Surface as if it were daytime, allowing Freya to see the true forms of those gigantic figures.
They were four enormous sea creatures with deep blue scales, resembling grouper fish from her past life, but each was about the size of a Merchant Ship. To her astonishment, many humanoid figures with similar blue skin stood atop their backs.
"Is that... the Sea Tribe?!" Although it was just a fleeting glance, Freya recognized these beings immediately.
Just as she pondered why the Sea Tribe would appear amidst the storm, the Giant Ship shook violently again, followed by an even stronger tremor than before.
