The Man Pillar nodded.

Lingfeng silently cursed himself for the trouble.
The True Qi and Spiritual Energy within him acted like white blood cells, treating the Spiritual Energy released by the Fire Serpent's inner pill as a virus. Unfortunately for Lingfeng, his body became a battlefield for these three forces.
The three forces clashed back and forth, trying to expel each other from Lingfeng's body.

In the blink of an eye, a night had passed.
Man Pillar stood by, staring intently at Lingfeng.
"It's so hot!" Finally, Lingfeng opened his eyes. His face was flushed to a deep purple, causing some concern.
"Brother, you're awake! How do you feel?" Man Pillar asked anxiously.
Lingfeng gasped for breath, exhaling with difficulty. Then, he suddenly stood up and dashed toward the cave entrance.
Man Pillar was puzzled by Lingfeng's behavior, thinking he had gone mad, and hurried after him.
Lingfeng stumbled as he ran, feeling as if his body was about to burst. All he wanted was a large amount of water.
Before long, Lingfeng reached the Gorge, found the right spot, and plunged headfirst into the water.
Man Pillar was horrified but it was too late; he could only watch as Lingfeng fell off the cliff.
"Plop!"
A moment later, the sound of Lingfeng hitting the water echoed.
"Brother, Lingfeng..."
Man Pillar's anxious voice resonated through the Gorge, but the calm surface of the water only rippled in response.
Just when Man Pillar felt utterly disappointed, the surface of the water suddenly erupted with a loud crash. A towering column of water shot up into the sky, and standing atop it was Lingfeng.
"Ha! Brother Man, I've finally broken through to Foundation Establishment!" Lingfeng exclaimed, beaming with energy. Although he had just submerged in the water, not a single droplet clung to him.
Man Pillar was also astonished, as Lingfeng stood atop the water column, resembling a water deity.
"Brother, how did you get up there?" Man Pillar asked.
Lingfeng was taken aback, realizing that he had not yet mastered the ability to ride the clouds. After a moment of silence, he silently recited the Incantation, and suddenly a massive Water Dragon burst forth from the water.
Lingfeng cheered and lightly leaped onto the back of the Water Dragon, soaring towards the shore.
Although Lingfeng had broken through to the Foundation Establishment stage and made significant progress in his magical power, he had only just achieved this breakthrough. The Spiritual Energy within him was still insufficient, so he could not control such an energy-consuming dragon for long. Just as Lingfeng reached the shore, the Water Dragon let out a splash and transformed back into water.
Lingfeng lightly jumped onto the shore, exhaling a breath and laughing, "How about that? Isn't this dragon beautiful?"
Man Pillar nodded repeatedly, his eyes filled with envy. "It seems that in two years' time for the competition, I am bound to lose!"
