However, there is a saying: qualitative changes arise from quantitative changes. As long as the corpse is large enough, I will still be shocked.
For instance, if the corpse is larger than those in a funeral home, I would wonder how much it would cost for cremation. No wonder in ancient times, most burials were done in the ground due to weight!
This corpse should be from the Ancient Era. Besides being enormous, it is surrounded by a blazing flame. The sun that I saw earlier with Shaoming was actually the brilliance emitted by this corpse!
This is quite terrifying; just a corpse can compete with the sun's radiance!
Due to the blinding nature of the flame, Shaoming and I could not clearly see what lay within; the only confirmation we had that it was indeed a corpse was the faint smell of decay in the air.
“Shaoming, do you want to go in with me?” I asked, looking at the flame. Although it was dazzling, its temperature should not be too extreme; my Azure Lotus Flame should be able to withstand it.
“Of course,” Shaoming replied simply.
A surge of magical energy erupted from my Dantian, enveloping both me and Shaoming. At the same time, a wisp of light Azure flame emerged and ignited this magical energy.
As long as it is a relatively advanced flame, it generally possesses unique characteristics.
For example, Red Boy’s True Fire has the property of igniting all things in the world, including air and water. The Golden Crow’s Sun True Fire is one of the most domineering flames and can even ignite other flames of equal rank!

My Azure Lotus Flame is no exception.
Currently, the characteristic of the Azure Lotus Flame lies in its inclusiveness. Any Taoist Arts can perfectly combine with this flame, producing remarkable lethality. Moreover, the Azure Lotus Flame does not reject other flames.
The Azure Lotus Flame itself is a relatively gentle flame, with a temperature that should be at a moderate level compared to similar flames. However, its ability to merge with other flames can compensate for some of its shortcomings.
Additionally, the effect of the Azure Lotus Flame merging with other flames is passive! This means that as long as I do not wish for the Azure Lotus Flame to merge with other flames, it will completely repel them from the Azure Lotus Flame!
Because of this, I can use the Azure Lotus Flame to form a protective barrier of fire without worrying about being burned by external flames.

The second aspect is combustibility.
Some flames can only burn under specific conditions, while others can ignore all burning conditions and burn all substances unconditionally, such as True Fire.
The final aspect is the characteristics of the flame.
If a flame possesses a unique characteristic, it can even overshadow the first two aspects. For example, Wisdom Fire from Buddhism!
Wisdom Fire is a level above my Azure Lotus Flame but falls half a level below True Fire and Sun True Fire. It is not a true flame but rather the inner fire ignited when one lights a green lamp in Buddhism. The uniqueness of Wisdom Fire lies in that those who possess it can often see through this worldly existence, and seeing through the world is the first step to becoming enlightened.
In summary, I observed this dazzling flame from these aspects.
Its temperature is not particularly high; it may even be slightly inferior to that of Yin Fire. Additionally, it has likely been burning here for quite some time, as even the Cold Jade beneath it has only been heated up, indicating that its combustibility is not very high. As for the burning duration, it could be that the Demon Corpse was extremely terrifying in life!
As for its characteristics, at least I do not currently sense any particular traits in this flame.
Aside from being dazzling, there is nothing praiseworthy about this flame! That's why I say this flame only looks good.
"Master, I think it's better if you don't jump to conclusions so early," Shaoming said as she shifted on my back to a more comfortable position.
"Why? Do you recognize this flame?" I asked curiously. After all, Shaoming is from the demon clan, and she might have seen this kind of flame before.
