Several skeletal arms extended from the surface of the Demon Coffin, pulling half of Shaoming's body into it. 0

"Ah!!!" Xia Liyi stumbled back two steps and sat down on the ground, pointing at the bones and trembling as she asked, "What is this?" 0

"Shaoming!" I grabbed Shaoming's wrist, trying to pull her out from among the bones. However, the pull of the bones was incredibly strong; not only did I fail to bring Shaoming back, but I was also dragged into the Demon Coffin along with her. 0

"Boss!!" Zhang Fan saw this and didn't care about anything else. He stepped forward and grabbed my shoulders, trying to pull both me and Shaoming out. 0

Zhang Fan was strong, but his strength was purely brute force. My shoulders ached painfully as he pulled, feeling like they were about to dislocate. 0

"Master, there's no need to pull. Just come in with me; there seems to be a way inside," Shaoming said from within the coffin after being completely pulled in. 0

"Fine, let go." Since Shaoming had already been taken in, there must be a reason for it. "You all stay put; I'll go in with Shaoming first." 0

"Alright." Zhang Fan finally released his grip, and in an instant, I was pulled into the Demon Coffin by the bones. 0

As I entered the Demon Coffin, I was tugged by countless skeletal hands. Although I had seen such things many times before and wasn't afraid, being touched by these stick-like appendages was still uncomfortable. 0

However, there were no signs that the bones intended to attack me or Shaoming. Their purpose seemed solely to drag us into this massive Demon Coffin. 0

After passing through a layer of darkness that wasn't too thick, Shaoming and I finally entered the Demon Coffin. 0

"So this is your Demon Coffin?" Looking at the scene inside, I found it hard to believe. According to what Shaoming had said, the Demon Coffin should be a place for the corpses of powerful demon clans. Even if those corpses wouldn't decay, it shouldn't feel so refreshing and pleasant, right? 0

Damn it, why does it feel like I've entered a botanical garden? Is it an illusion? Or... 0

"I don't know either," Shaoming replied nonchalantly. "I've only heard of the existence of the Demon Coffin; I've never been inside." 0

"Of course, you want to go in. Would I dare stay by your side?" 0

"Forget it, let's take a look first." I looked up and was surprised to see a lush forest inside the Demon Coffin, and there was even a sun above. 0

That sun seemed different from the one outside; it looked at least several times larger than ours, yet it didn't emit more heat than the outside sun, and its light wasn't intense. It appeared like a giant light sphere that was about to run out of power. 0

There was a path in the forest, but I had no idea where it led. 0

"It might be better to be cautious. This may not be your Demon Coffin; it could be something else from another demon clan," I said to Shaoming. 0

Honestly, I felt a bit uneasy at that moment. What exactly was this? Was it really Shaoming's Demon Coffin? From what we saw before us, it didn't seem like it! 0

I let Shaoming follow closely behind me as we cautiously ventured into the forest. There were actually no creatures in the woods; I just wondered how these trees managed to survive here. 0

As we walked along the path, I was astonished to find that it was paved with pieces of Cold Jade. Normally, jade is warm and doesn't radiate any temperature; after holding it for a while in your palm, it warms up. 0

However, besides warm jade, there are also warm jade and Cold Jade. As the name suggests, warm jade emits higher temperatures, while Cold Jade is surrounded by cold energy. 0

This path was actually made up of pieces of Cold Jade! Cold Jade had long been extinct; due to its cold energy, it had always been considered a premium item among burial goods. Even if Cold Jade occasionally appeared, it usually came from a Tomb. That kind of Cold Jade would have already been eroded by the Corpse Qi of the deceased, turning into a piece of jade devoid of any Spiritual Energy. 0

Of course, if there were blood streaks in the Cold Jade, one should be cautious. This is called Blood Jade, which isn't particularly special; it's generally formed when blood from a corpse enters the Cold Jade during burial. However, there's no need to fear because typically, the souls of corpses in tombs have already been guided away. This means that the previous owner of the Blood Jade should have already reincarnated, so when it changes hands to someone else, there shouldn't be any issues. 0

But if the previous owner of the Blood Jade hasn't reincarnated? That would be problematic. After all, it's someone else's possession; taking their belongings could lead them to come looking for you! This is what people refer to as spiritual connection! 0

As soon as I stepped onto that path, an icy chill shot up from my soles straight into my bones. These pieces of Cold Jade carried such intense cold energy—how much would this cost? Well, I guess this is all I'm capable of. 0

"Cold Jade, rectangular containers—this isn't a coffin; it's just a refrigerator," I remarked sarcastically. 0

Three black lines drooped down from Shaoming's head. 0

As we walked along the path, we gradually made our way deeper into the forest with Shaoming. 0

"Shaoming, don't you feel like the sun is getting closer to us? It feels like if I reach a little higher, I could grab it." 0

"A bit, but this sun doesn't seem hot," Shaoming replied, looking up at the sun. "But isn't it supposed to be night now?" 0

"This should be something similar to the Night Pearl. By the way, weren't we here for Tomb Raiding? We haven't taken anything else, so why not steal that sun and take it home as a lamp? It would save on electricity bills!" 0

"Master." Shaoming suddenly looked up, her big eyes blinking at me. 0

"Uh? What's wrong?" 0

"Can you not recognize me outside in the future?" Shaoming said very seriously. 0

"Why?" 0

"Embarrassing." 0

Outside the Demon Coffin. 0

"Brother Li Su, do you think my boss and Shaoming Sister will run into any trouble?" Zhang Fan placed the Brass Greatsword horizontally on the ground and sat down against the wall of the tomb passage with Li Su and Xia Liyi. 0

"They should be fine," Li Su said as he took out a gourd and took a sip of water. "Dao Brother Yin is very powerful and skilled in these methods of subduing Demon Gods. Plus, he seems to have gotten stronger since I last saw him." 0

“Is Yin Zheng'an very strong?” Xia Liyi asked Li Su, looking puzzled. 0

“By age, Dao Brother Yin can be considered a genius,” Li Su admitted. 0

Zhang Fan scratched his head and said, “Yeah, although the boss is strong, he has many tricks up his sleeve. The things he pulls out of that bag can crush someone.” 0

“So are we just waiting here for him?” Xia Liyi said restlessly. “Shouldn’t we go in?” 0

“No, Dao Brother Yin is always meticulous. Since he asked us to wait here, he must have his reasons. We shouldn’t cause him any trouble,” Li Su said as he took off the umbrella on his back, opened it, and then formed a hand seal. 0

Li Su's umbrella floated up and slowly opened in mid-air. Once fully opened, beams of light descended from the surface of the umbrella. 0

The light enveloped the three of them, and with another hand seal from Li Su, Zhang Fan and the others disappeared from their spot. 0

“This light can conceal our presence while still allowing us to see outside, so we’ll be safer this way,” Li Su explained. “Also, the umbrella’s defensive power isn’t weak; you can rest assured.” 0

“Defensive power is decent?” Zhang Fan reached out to touch the light and suddenly said, “But what if the attack comes from inside? What do we do then?” 0

“From inside?” Li Su didn’t understand why Zhang Fan was asking this question, but he answered obediently, “The way to dispel this light is to attack from within. However, as long as we don’t attack it, it can hold for quite a while.” 0

“Is that so?” Zhang Fan suddenly changed his expression and said with a strange smile, “Then this is a good thing. I was worried about making too much noise and alerting someone named Yin Zheng'an.” 0

“Although it wouldn’t matter if we alerted him, that person behind him is someone I can’t afford to provoke right now,” Zhang Fan's voice became sharper. 0

“What do you mean?” Li Su suddenly stood up and glared at Zhang Fan. “Are you implying that you—” 0

“Don’t be nervous,” Zhang Fan eased up a bit. “I’m your companion!” 0

As soon as the words fell, Zhang Fan struck Xia Liyi's neck with a swift palm. Before Xia Liyi could react, she let out a soft groan, her head tilted, and she fainted. 0

"Are you an Evil Cultivator?" Li Su glared at Zhang Fan, squeezing those four words through clenched teeth. 0

"Haha!" Zhang Fan sneered, looking at Li Su with a wicked gaze. "Why so nervous? Aren't we all cut from the same cloth?" 0

Li Su seemed to be poked in a sore spot and quickly retorted, "Who is cut from the same cloth as you? I am a disciple of the righteous sect." 0

"Is that so?" Zhang Fan suddenly attacked, grabbing Li Su by the neck. He tightened his grip slightly, his nails digging into Li Su's skin, blood slowly oozing down Zhang Fan's fingers. 0

"A righteous sect? Does a righteous sect have blood like yours?" 0

As soon as Li Su's blood came into contact with Zhang Fan, it began to sizzle. It was unclear whether there was something wrong with Zhang Fan's hand or with Li Su's blood. 0

Li Su waved his hand, knocking Zhang Fan's grip away from his neck. He summoned the umbrella floating in mid-air and prepared to shout. 0

"Don't shout," Zhang Fan said, watching Li Su open his mouth. "Do you think I'm like that guy named Yin, soft-hearted? Your sound system has already been destroyed by me." 0

Li Su opened his mouth in silence, watching as Zhang Fan stepped closer to him. 0
