In the wilderness, there is a mountain called Tushan, famous for the numerous Fox Spirits that cultivate there. Later, Tushan split into the Tu Shan Clan and the Azure Hill Line. The ancestor of the Tu Shan Clan is the wife of Human Emperor Dayu, while the ancestor of the Azure Hill Line is the Nine-Tailed Fox, Su Daji, who originally served under Nuwa. 0

There are many tales about Su Daji, though they are somewhat chaotic. In summary, as a Nine-Tailed Fox under Nuwa, she was sent to disrupt King Zhou of Shang's governance. Consequently, the Nine-Tailed Fox took over the body of Su Hu's daughter, Su Daji. However, during her mission, Su Daji enforced her will too violently, inciting public anger, and was ultimately slain by Jiang Ziya. It is said that a fragment of her soul escaped to Japan, becoming known as Tamamo-no-Mae. In the end, the Fox Spirits of Tushan no longer recognized the descendants of the Nine-Tailed Fox as Tu Shan Foxes, leading to the emergence of Qingqiu Fox Spirits. 0

Currently, Qingqiu exists in seclusion due to Nuwa's protection. However, the legitimate Tu Shan Fox Spirits find it difficult to survive. Eventually, a Matchmaker brought Tushan under her wing, making its Fox Spirits the binders of Fate-Connecting Red Threads, also known as Red Thread Fairies. 0

Thus, Tushan became associated with marriage fate. Because of this connection, Sister Wan suggested that I take Meng Jiangnu to Tushan. 0

"Is Tushan far from here?" I asked. 0

"It's not too far, but if you walk on foot, you won't reach it even in ten lifetimes," Fox Spirit Sister Shaoming replied. 0

"Tushan is currently in a different space; no one can enter except for Fox Spirits," the Landlady added. 0

A different space can be understood as a realm beyond the three worlds, similar to Bodhi Patriarch's Slanting Moon Three Stars Cave, which is also a different space. 0

"Isn't that just nonsense? We can't get in anyway. What's the use?" I looked at Shaoming with disdain. 0

"That's why I had Shaoming bring something over," the Landlady pointed at Fox Spirit Sister: "Where's the item? Take it out." 0

"What item?" I asked in confusion. 0

"Call me sister," Fox Spirit Sister Shaoming lightly pressed her fingertip against my chest: "If you call me sister, I'll show you." 0

"Sister Wan, your subordinate is trying to seduce me; aren't you going to do anything about it?" I looked at the Landlady with a blank expression. 0

"She isn't under my control either," the Landlady replied flatly: "To be precise, once we leave this noodle shop, I can't control anything." 0

"Sister," I said after Landlady finished speaking and turned to Shaoming. 0

"Are you still going to have any shame?" Shaoming responded expressionlessly. 0

"Do I need shame in this line of work? Life is more important; understand? Little sister!" 0

"What did you call me?" Shaoming suddenly turned around, his face fierce. 0

"Sister," I raised my hands in a gesture of surrender. 0

Landlady: "" 0

Meng Jiangnu: "" 0

"Alright, alright, I admit defeat. Here, take this." Shaoming handed the package he had taken out earlier to the Landlady. 0

The Landlady opened the package and took out a delicately wrapped jade pendant. The pendant was entirely emerald green, and when light passed through it, it sparkled brilliantly. 0

Curiously, I looked up and saw pink clouds floating above me, resembling cotton candy, as if I could reach out and touch them. 0

"Is this Tushan?" I looked at Sister in front of me and said, "Why do I feel like I've just hit something?" 0

"Uncultured!" Shaoming scoffed. "You only called me sister once, and I brought you out to see the world. You should be grateful and not complain." 0

"I'd rather not come," I said gloomily. 0

Behind the Landlady's kitchen was a door. After opening it, we entered a long corridor. The Landlady hung the jade pendant around Meng Jiangnu's neck before allowing us to proceed inside. 0

So this was the only passage between Tushan and the human world. After walking through the corridor, I suddenly realized that Tushan was an alternate space where only those with Fox Spirit blood could enter freely. Meng Jiangnu could barely enter thanks to that jade pendant, while I found that Tushan did not reject me. 0

In other words, my previous embarrassment was forgotten. 0

I didn't know why Tushan didn't reject me, but once I entered here, I felt a bit dizzy, which explained why I felt like I'd hit something earlier. 0

Tushan was different from the human world; being an alternate space, the gravity was lighter. Walking felt weightless, and it seemed that with a little effort, I could jump three or four meters high. Moreover, there was no sun in Tushan—only clusters of pink clouds. Although it was called Tushan, it wasn't a mountain; it resembled a square space with a large pit in the center. In that pit stood an enormous tree, even larger than the one in front of Bodhi Patriarch's Slanting Moon Three Stars Cave! 0

The only source of light in this space was the tree, whose crown emitted countless dazzling rays of Radiance, illuminating the entire Tushan. 0

"What kind of tree is that?" I asked. 0

"Red Bean Affection," Shaoming replied. 0

"What?" 0

"Red Bean Acacia. You guessed it right; it's the name of Landlady's shop," Shaoming explained. "This is why our Tushan can become the foundation of the Red Thread Fairy. The red beans used in Landlady's Red Bean Noodles are harvested from this tree." 0

"That's amazing?" 0

"I've heard of this tree," Meng Jiangnu, who had been silent until now, suddenly said. "Journey to the Southern Kingdom collects red beans, yet leaves Jiangnan with two or three thoughts. Looking back at the still sails, how can one depict that person and that time?" 0

"Who wrote this? What does this poem mean? I don't understand!" 0

"I don't know." 0

Shaoming led Meng Jiangnu and me straight to the Red Bean Acacia. When we reached the large pit in the center of Tushan, I realized that the tree was much larger than I had imagined. 0

"Our Fox Spirit clan lived in this tree before transforming into human form. Only Fox Spirits that have taken human form can leave this tree. Then, only those who become Red Thread Fairies can leave Tushan," Shaoming slowly explained. 0

Scattered beneath the Red Bean Acacia were hundreds of Meditation Cushions, on which sat various figures—some resembling foxes, but more were in human form. 0

"Practicing under the Red Bean Acacia is a necessary process for Fox Spirits to become Red Thread Fairies. However, this threshold is where the most preparatory Red Thread Fairies are eliminated," Shaoming sighed lightly. "Less than one-tenth manage to pass the assessment to become Red Thread Fairies." 0

"Are you also a Red Thread Fairy?" I asked Shaoming. 0

"Used to be," Shaoming replied. 0

Shaoming seemed unwilling to discuss the topic further, so I didn't press on. 0

"Let's go. I'll take you to meet our current clan leader; she should be the only one who can help this sister," Shaoming said. "The clan leader cannot easily leave Red Bean Acacia; she resides at the lowest end of Red Bean Affection." 0

"Is there an elevator in the tree?" 0

"iFi has everything," Shaoming rolled her eyes at me, sarcastically remarking, "Do you think an elevator is needed here?" 0

With a turn of her body, a wave of demonic energy enveloped Shaoming. She had originally been wearing a very trendy outfit, but as she turned, her women's clothing was replaced by traditional attire. It was a dress with a curved hem, with tassels neatly hanging from the sleeves, and her hair was naturally tied back. If Shaoming could score a 7 before, then in this outfit, she was at least an 8 out of 10 in beauty! This outfit truly highlighted Shaoming's elegance. 0

Turning my head, I saw that Meng Jiangnu had also transformed into her previous appearance from the Bridge of Helplessness, draped in a plain white robe that made her look pure and graceful. 0

"Do I have to change clothes too?" I asked cautiously. "Can I just wear a Daoist Robe?" 0

"Sure." With the change of clothes, Shaoming's tone shifted, carrying a sense of hesitation. 0

After donning the Azure Flower Robe, the Daoist Robe shimmered with faint golden light. 0

"Where did you get that Daoist Robe?" Shaoming exclaimed as if she had seen something incredibly rare and reached out to touch my Daoist Robe. 0

"You look better in the Daoist Robe than in the Judge's Robe," Meng Jiangnu said as she grabbed Shaoming's hand before it could touch my Daoist Robe. "What are those patterns?" 0

Meng Jiangnu was referring to the patterns formed by the celestial stems attached to my Daoist Robe. 0

"Celesital stems," I replied. "I'll explain this to you later." 0

"How do we get down?" Meng Jiangnu asked Shaoming. 0

"Casually." Shaoming's words transformed into a beam of light as he jumped down into the Bottomless Pit. 0

"I'll wait for you down there." Meng Jiangnu slowly faded away, and when she reappeared, she was already at the bottom of the pit. 0

"Damn, I still have to rely on myself." I formed a hand seal, and the sword hilt appeared in front of me. The hilt emitted a Radiance, forming a giant sword. Standing on the giant sword, the gravity here was much lower, making it far easier to maneuver than on the surface. 0

"Look, a Sword Immortal!" 0

"Is it really? Is it human?" 0

"Still wearing a Daoist Robe, must have come down from above." 0

The Fox Spirits sitting under the tree pointed and whispered as I descended. 0

Cultivator, what was the initial motivation? Wasn't it the dream of wandering the world with a sword? Flying on a sword was what I longed for in my youth! Now I can finally ride my sword through this realm! 0

I was about three or four meters from the bottom of the pit. I leaped off the giant sword and landed on the ground with one hand supporting me, stabilizing my position. With a wave of my hand, I retracted the sword hilt into my possession under the envious gazes of the Fox Spirits. 0

"Let's go!" I pretended to be cool as I waved my hand at Shaoming and Meng Jiangnu. 0

"I'm not going," Shaoming teased. "You see, without me, you can't get in!" 0

"Come on, don't be stubborn, miss." 0

"What did you call me?" 0

"Sister." 0

"In the depths of the mountains, hidden among layers of leaves, there is a Taoist temple. At the threshold of the temple sits an Old Taoist, drinking wine. 0

A Daoist dressed in plain robes walks out from the temple, his gaze intense; he is a middle-aged man. 0

'So, where has my disciple gone?' 0

'He should be at Tushan.' 0

'Even though you can't see, your divination is quite accurate.' 0

'Thank you for your guidance, Master.' 0

'I am not your master.' 0

The Old Taoist takes another sip of wine and then stretches out a hand to fiddle with something. 0

'It will be soon, very soon!'" 0
