It was noon, and for some reason, our group was taking three monsters and a deity to the zoo. 0

During lunch, Lin Miaomiao suggested visiting the newly opened zoo, where you could even drive your own car to see the free-roaming tigers. 0

I thought to myself that only you would be foolish enough to go near a tiger. Aren't you afraid of accidents? However, Qu and Red Boy seemed quite interested. One is a cat transformed, and the other has been a mountain king for many years; could it be that they have never seen a tiger? But if there were black bears, I guessed Red Boy would lose interest since Guanyin had several watching over the back mountain. 0

Since Red Boy wanted to go, we might as well go. It seemed I had no say in the matter. My role was similar to Zhang Fan's; he was the driver, responsible for driving, while I was the secretary, responsible for paying. 0

Fortunately, I had taken on a private job earlier, and that boss Zhao was quite generous, transferring 50,000 yuan into my account. Otherwise, I would have been financially drained by this outing. 0

We barely spotted the zoo entrance after driving out to the suburbs. It made sense; such a place couldn't be located in the city. The zoo turned out to be quite large, divided into various sections, and even had an aquarium. 0

Although our car was filled with all sorts of deities and monsters, none of us had really seen the ocean before, let alone its creatures. So our first stop was the aquarium. We queued up to buy tickets. 0

However, it seemed due to the weekend crowds, there were many people, and it would take a while to get tickets. Interestingly, there was a large hall specifically for ticket sales; once inside the park, you only needed your ticket. 0

The landlady took Wang Ni and the others to find a café to sit and wait. I initially planned to drag Red Boy along to buy tickets because Zhang Fan was being annoying. However, I felt awkward asking a girl to buy tickets. Just then, Lin Miaomiao stood up and pushed Red Boy back into his seat before grabbing me by my collar and pulling me away. 0

As we walked to the end of the queue with Lin Miaomiao, I curiously asked her, "I haven't seen you so proactive before. What are you up to?" 0

"Idiot," Lin Miaomiao shot me an eye roll. "Look at how well your cousin is chatting with that server named Qu. Why would you want to interrupt them?" 0

"So what? Just because they have a childhood friendship doesn't mean you need to meddle," I replied, confused by her logic. Qu and Red Boy were indeed close; that wasn't new. 0

"By the way," Lin Miaomiao suddenly said mysteriously, "do you think Qu might also be a transformed monster?" 0

"I wouldn't worry about that; it's probably family tradition for him," I replied playfully pretending to be mysterious as well. 0

Indeed, Red Boy's father is a big water buffalo, and his mother is a princess from the Rakshasa Kingdom. If he wants to date a fairy, he can always ask his family for advice. 0

"Go." Lin Miaomiao angrily pushed me: "You're such a mess. By the way, what tickets are we buying later? It seems like the all-day pass isn't that expensive." 0

"Is it?" There was a price list at the front of the line, but it was too far for me to see Taiqing, so I activated Spiritual Sight to get a clearer view: "The all-day pass costs... oh right, do they accept student IDs for half price here?" 0

"That should be fine, right? Do you have yours? This place just opened, so I'm not sure about Taiqing." 0

"Can you have Niu Hong and Qu Huan pretend to be minors?" 0

If I get angry, I won't buy a ticket anyway; after all, once I use Wind Walking Technique, they won't be able to catch me. The others can let Red Boy take them in for free—what a money saver! 0

"That's tough. Niu Hong is fine, but Qu Huan definitely doesn't look like a minor." 0

"How about you pretend to be one?" I looked at Lin Miaomiao and teased her. 0

Lin Miaomiao glared at me, her head slightly tilted, her eyes filled with menace: "What do you mean?" 0

"Heroine, spare me! I was wrong!" In the world of martial arts, who can avoid getting hurt? But if you kneel down and hug their leg calling them 'father' when they're about to strike you, they might feel too embarrassed to continue. 0

In the end, I obediently bought the all-day pass. However, the student ID really did give us half price; Lin Miaomiao, Zhang Fan, and I are all students from JZ Normal University, which saved us some money. 0

After all, this isn't by the sea. Even though it's an aquarium, it feels somewhat diminished. The Underwater Corridor is there, but inside it's mostly just a few ribbon fish for show—no sharks. It's rare to see a sea turtle that's not much bigger than my palm. If it weren't for the beautiful women dressed as mermaids posing inside, I think some people would want to refund their tickets. 0

However, the main attraction here is still driving around to see free-range animals. 0

The zoo has enclosed a large area of wilderness, artificially creating a habitat for wild animals. Inside, it is divided into different sections, each with unique animals and environments, showing that considerable thought has been put into it. 0

Even though we are self-driving, we cannot use our own cars; there are specially modified observation vehicles that not only provide a better view but are also safer. Honestly, if it were up to me, with just our group entering, there would be no need for a car at all. We could simply walk in without worrying about safety, and who knows, we might even ride out on a tiger. 0

However, since that is the rule, we obediently complied. 0

Not long after the vehicle entered, a fox emerged from the bushes beside us and started following our car, sticking with us for quite a while. 0

I and Lin Miaomiao turned our attention to Boss Lady Ah Wan. 0

The Landlady was chatting with Wang Ni when she suddenly sensed our gaze and said awkwardly, "What are you looking at? Haven't you seen a beauty before?" 0

"Sister Wan, is that fox here to find you?" I pointed to the fox following us outside the window. 0

"Ridiculous!" The Landlady immediately got angry. "I am from Qingqiu; how can this wild fox compare to me?" 0

"Then let it go! It looks ridiculous just following us like this." 0

"Just throw it some food," the Landlady said casually as she glanced out the window. 0

I looked around and realized we hadn't brought any food. Then I noticed Huan was munching on a piece of beef jerky. I quickly snatched the jerky from Huan's mouth, opened the window, and tossed it to the fox. 0

The fox grabbed the jerky and happily ran off. Before I could feel pleased about it, I suddenly felt a weight on my shoulder. Turning my head, I saw Huan hugging my arm with a pouty face, looking like she was about to cry. 0

Although Huan had already accepted the Inheritance of Memory, she had not yet mastered the ability to speak, so all her emotions were expressed through her facial expressions. If one did not know better, they might think I had done something to her just by looking at her face. 0

It took a lot of effort to calm Huan down, and I had to promise her a steak to resolve the situation. Although Huan appeared to be an adult Sister, her mentality was still that of a child, or perhaps that of a panda. 0

To be honest, even free-range animals do not seem very spirited; after all, they no longer need to hunt for food, which takes away some of their wildness and makes them appear a bit lethargic. Red Boy looked at the tiger in this state and shouted that it was boring. Everyone in the vehicle, except for Lin Miaomiao who was curiously leaning against the window, seemed a bit drowsy. 0

After playing for a while, everyone was feeling a bit tired. Once we exited the zoo, we noticed it was already getting late, and we originally planned to head home directly. 0

However, Lin Miaomiao needed to stop by her house first. Her home was in the city, and we were planning to pass by it anyway, so we could drop her off. 0

"Um," as we approached Lin Miaomiao's house, she hesitated and seemed like she wanted to say something. 0

"What's wrong?" I asked as I sat next to her. 0

"Yin Zheng'an, can you come with me to my house?" Lin Miaomiao finally mustered the courage to ask me. 0

"Oh, is this the part where I meet your parents?" The Landlady, who had been resting with her eyes closed in the back seat, suddenly spoke up. 0

Lin Miaomiao's face turned bright red as she defended herself, "No, I'm just asking him for something important." 0

I had a pretty good idea of what Lin Miaomiao wanted me for; it was likely related to the issue with the Hungry Ghost that had been bothering her before. 0

Lin Miaomiao's father had accidentally killed an old man in an incident. However, the old man's son threatened Lin Miaomiao's father that if he did not pay up, he would not allow the old man to rest in peace. This meant that the old man's soul could not find peace. Meanwhile, Lin Miaomiao's father carried a talisman for protection and thus became entangled with Lin Miaomiao. 0

This matter probably had not been fully resolved yet, which is why Lin Miaomiao wanted me to stay and help her sort it out. 0

"Is the old man not buried yet?" I asked Lin Miaomiao. 0

The old man's soul had already been guided by me, and according to the timeline, he should have crossed the Bridge of Helplessness by now. However, since Meng Jiangnu was still with me, he might still be lingering in hell. His body being unburied was not a big deal at this point, but it still felt wrong. The old man had already suffered enough from being killed in an accident; it seemed unfair for his body to remain unburied. 0

"Not yet. That family has been causing a scene multiple times. My dad promised to give his dad money for the burial, but he thinks it's too little." 0

Is there really a son like that? Keeping his father in a freezer just for money? 0

"How much did your dad agree to?" 0

"Eight thousand, and that's not even part of the compensation; it's an additional Burial fee." 0

"That's not a small amount. That family is just greedy." I pondered for a moment. Well, it was Saturday, and I didn't have anything else to do, so I might as well help Lin Miaomiao solve this problem. Consider it a favor for her letting me stay in the basement for free. 0

"Then I'll go with you. Sister Ni, Sister Wan, you two can head back on your own," I said as I turned to the Landlady and Wang Ni. 0

"You don't need to worry about us, but are you really going like this?" The Landlady squinted her eyes at me, looking disappointed. 0

"What else should I do?" 0

"When visiting your Father-in-law and Mother-in-law for the first time, shouldn't you bring something?" 0
