To keep the Golden Light Talisman shining, it requires a significant amount of magical energy. However, there is about a five to six hundred meter distance from here to the school gate, and with such a large population, unless one has the level of magical power like Wang Ni, it's not feasible. 0

But we can't just sit here and wait. Who knows when we can rescue those Infected? From the looks of it now, it seems like a major undertaking. 0

I wonder if those Infected are afraid of fire. But then again, even if they are afraid of fire, I can't use fire to greet them! They are all classmates; what if something goes wrong and someone gets burned? If I accidentally set the school on fire, I'd have to ask the Law Department students how many years one would get for Arson... 0

In the distance, a figure was leaping across the rooftops; it was Red Boy. Although Red Boy is not very tall, he was holding onto someone with one hand while jumping on the rooftops. 0

"Niu Hong, over here!" I waved at Red Boy. Upon hearing me call him, he jumped down in a few bounds and landed in front of me. 0

"Ango, what's going on?" Red Boy asked. 0

I didn't know either; if I did, it wouldn't be so hard to resolve. 0

"It should be something similar to a curse or Corpse Poison, which is infectious but can be resolved with an Exorcism Talisman," I replied. 0

That was just my guess, but I couldn't be sure which type of curse or Corpse Poison it was since there are many varieties of both. 0

"Try bringing in someone who has already been infected. Remember to grab someone who looks decent." 0

"..." Red Boy. 0

Red Boy leaped from the second floor and targeted a relatively good-looking Sister. He used the shaft of a Fire Spear to block her mouth, lifted her by her clothes, and then with a strong pull, returned to the second floor. 0

I quickly cleared a space for my classmates and drew an Exorcism Talisman. All my stored Exorcisms had already been used up. Fortunately, I was very familiar with Exorcism Talismans and could complete one in a stroke. 0

With Red Boy holding down the girl he had brought back, I placed an Exorcism Talisman on her forehead without infusing it with magical energy. The girl who had initially tried to bite us immediately quieted down. I then infused magical energy into the Exorcism Talisman, and soon after, a dark Corpse Qi emerged from her mouth. 0

How could I be sure it was Corpse Qi? Because that black mist was dense and did not dissipate; if it were Evil Energy, it would have vanished long ago. I took out a Fire Talisman and burned away the black mist; this stuff couldn't be left behind as inhaling even a little could lead to accidents. 0

The girl lying on the ground gradually regained her composure. It seemed that the evil within them was much lighter than that of Weirdo Brother; it appeared to be just an issue with that single Corpse Qi. Looking at the bite mark on her arm, it was quite shallow—almost just a tooth imprint. I placed an Exorcism Talisman over the bite mark, and instantly the imprint was transferred onto the Exorcism Talisman, appearing dark and ominous. When I looked back at her arm, there were no longer any traces of being bitten. 0

"This should be a very advanced Evil Technique," I concluded. "By controlling these people's minds with Corpse Qi, perhaps due to the sheer number of them, only a small amount of Corpse Qi can be used for control, which means the Corpse Qi has only reached their throats and hasn't had time to invade further. However, there's no guarantee that it won't worsen over time." 0

"But those who were bitten by the Invaders are definitely not affected by just a mouthful of Corpse Qi," I pondered. 0

"Those Invaders disappeared after biting a group of students," Red Boy suddenly said. 0

"Did you see them disappear?" 0

"I saw them gather together over there, but it was too chaotic, so I couldn't follow." 0

This is strange. Could the mastermind really be plotting some shocking scheme? 0

"Let's not worry about that for now; the key is to move them out first," I said to Red Boy. "Do you have any good ideas?" 0

"The only way is to lure those Infected away with bait," Red Boy thought for a moment and replied. 0

"Do you know how to set up a Trap Formation?" I asked. 0

"I don't know anything about that," Red Boy shrugged. 0

Damn it. I didn't study properly back then, and now I'm completely at a loss. I wonder if cramming will help at all. 0

Setting up a formation requires a Formation Base, which I'm not worried about; I can just use the Octagonal Taiji around my neck. 0

I opened the book I brought back from the Taoist temple and found the pages on setting up formations. Among them, I located a relatively large Earth Attribute formation. However, there were no Formation Flags needed for the setup. Forget it; I'll just draw the Formation Flags on Yellow Talismans. 0

I took out a stack of blank Yellow Talisman Paper and quickly sketched out the necessary dozen or so Formation Flags. Then, I began discussing strategies with Red Boy. 0

After carefully observing the surrounding terrain, I noticed that the Infected were scattered everywhere, so we would need more than one bait. Not far away, there was a statue with a large flower bed next to it, which was perfect for setting up the formation. I also saw a path that led directly to the school gate, but how should we arrange the formation? 0

I shared my thoughts with Red Boy, who said he could go down and clear the flower bed. Then I would quickly set up the formation base around us. We would first activate three sides and then drive the Infected into the formation until we cleared a path directly to the school gate. 0

It was easy to create the path, but how could we ensure that all the students could exit safely? Moreover, there were those who were already terrified and unable to run quickly. 0

In this situation, we had no choice but to let the ladies go first. 0

"Boys, we still have strength left, so let's wait for rescue here. How about we let the ladies go out first?" I shouted to all the students. "Don't be afraid; everyone will get their turn. We just need to let the girls out first!" 0

Ignoring any protests, I pushed all the boys back into the classroom, leaving only the girls standing in the corridor, ready to exit at any moment. 0

Red Boy soared into the air and quickly reached the flower bed, grabbing a few Infected standing there and flying them out. The other Infected saw Red Boy and waved their arms, lunging at him. Red Boy hovered in mid-air, allowing them to see him but not catch him, gradually leading those few away to another location. 0

Next, it was my turn to step in. Although I couldn't soar like Red Boy yet, I activated Wind Walk and arrived at the flower bed after a few jumps. 0

I placed Octagonal Taiji on top of the statue and arranged several Yellow Talismans according to Gossip's positions. As it is said: Qian represents heaven, Kan represents water, Gen represents mountain, Li represents fire, Kun represents earth, Dui represents marsh, and Gen and Kun represent Mountain Hexagram and Earth Hexagram. Therefore, everything was based on Gen and Kun. 0

Following the direction of the formation diagram, I arranged the Yellow Talismans carefully, intentionally leaving one Yellow Talismans unplaced before activating the formation. 0

Except for the remaining Talisman, walls formed from magical energy surged from the other three sides. The formation was different from Talisman Magic; talismans required their own magical power to operate, while formations could maintain themselves for a period through Gossip's Reincarnation. Of course, this also related somewhat to how the formation was arranged and its level. 0

I first took a walk along the path I had just scouted to confirm that there were basically no Infected present. This path was quite strange; it extended from a gap between two buildings where Infected could not enter. After passing through that gap, the path widened significantly and could wrap around behind the security room at the school gate along the campus wall. So I chose it as a safe passage. 0
