"Cut, that was a mistake!"
Ye Yang secretly regretted it. The moment the Azure Bull appeared, he saw Yun Xiaoxi's shocked expression as she flew into the air. Logically speaking, a master of the Stellar Realm like Yun Xiaoxi should not fear a Ninth-Grade Beast like the Azure Bull, so the Azure Bull was definitely not something that would frighten her.
The ground before them began to crack and rise, as if some enormous creature was burrowing up from beneath the surface.

Ye Yang's expression turned grave as he clearly saw that these were black scorpions, each about one meter long, covered in hard black shells. Their stingers were raised high, glistening with a greenish hue. Anyone who saw such creatures would inevitably feel a chill run down their spine!
"Earth Scorpion, it's an Eighth-Stage Beast—Earth Scorpion Swarm!"
Ye Yang's voice trembled as he shouted, "Tianhe, run for your life! We can't handle these Earth Scorpions!"
"What?" Zhang Tianhe was bewildered. Even when facing a Ninth-Grade Beast, Ye Yang still had the courage to fight. But upon encountering these scorpions, he found himself devoid of any fighting spirit.

Thousands of Earth Scorpions emitted terrifying sounds as they swarmed over the mountains at incredible speed!
The Azure Bull let out a roar, its body engulfed in flames. With fiery hooves, it charged into the Earth Scorpion Swarm, burning and trampling through them, instantly killing a number of Earth Scorpions!
Unfortunately, there were too many Earth Scorpions. One by one, they climbed onto the Azure Bull's massive body, their poisonous stingers piercing into it with a series of "thud thud thud" sounds. In an instant, the Azure Bull became a giant green bull poisoned beyond recognition, its strength greatly diminished and its vitality rapidly fading.

Amid the cries of agony, the Azure Bull fell to the ground and was quickly devoured by the Earth Scorpion Swarm, leaving only a massive skull behind.

Ye Yang was similarly surging with True Qi. The Fire God Fragment True Qi concentrated in the Breaking Flame Sword as Rending Sky Sword Qi descended, tearing apart an entire area of Earth Scorpions. The stench of shredded flesh and toxic blood filled the air, making one feel nauseous.
Compared to Zhang Tianhe's attacks, Ye Yang's strikes were even more lethal. His Blade trembled continuously, unleashing seven or eight sword energies that rained down upon the Earth Scorpion Swarm. Coupled with the Divine Power from Fire God Transformation, the Earth Scorpions were utterly unable to resist; in just a few seconds, over a hundred had fallen!
However, the movements of these Earth Scorpions were incredibly swift and highly poisonous, numbering in the tens of thousands—truly terrifying!

The ground beneath their feet cracked open as countless Earth Scorpions emerged from below, their poisonous stingers flashing menacingly as they continuously corroded Ye Yang's Protective Aura.

A fiery explosion erupted, incinerating the surrounding Earth Scorpions without a trace. A pungent smell of charred flesh filled the air as one by one, the Earth Scorpions lay on their backs, their pincers burned black. They twitched and struggled for a few seconds before succumbing to death.

More Earth Scorpions continued to surge from beneath his feet. Ye Yang stomped down hard, True Qi surging violently, and without hesitation, he unleashed a torrent of piercing sword energy upon the Earth Scorpion Swarm, resulting in a brutal massacre.
True Qi was rapidly depleting, and within just a few minutes, Ye Yang was already showing signs of fatigue.
A glance at his friend Zhang Tianhe revealed an even worse situation; amidst the fierce clashes, multiple wounds had appeared on Zhang Tianhe's legs, darkening with evident poison.

Ye Yang leaped forward but found that the Earth Scorpion Swarm ahead was endless, making it impossible to break through.
Zhang Tianhe struggled to wave his arms, but unfortunately, his body felt as heavy as lead. His movements slowed down increasingly until darkness enveloped him; he had already succumbed to the poison.
Ye Yang was alarmed, his mind filled with fury. He gathered the last of his True Qi and unleashed another wave of flames.

Kneeling weakly on the ground and gazing at the endless Earth Scorpion Swarm, Ye Yang slowly closed his eyes; his True Qi had completely run dry, leaving him unable to fight any longer.
Just then, a fragrant breeze wafted in!
"Smack!"
Suddenly, a tight grip from behind lifted Ye Yang securely into the air. He recognized the familiar fragrance that had been following him for days and nights.
Opening his eyes, he saw a fluttering skirt and a pair of delicate legs before him. Looking up, he was met with the stunning face of Yun Xiaoxi, who was glaring at him in anger.
"You idiot, how dare you try to take on the Earth Scorpion Swarm? You must really want to die..."
Yun Xiaoxi was flying in mid-air, holding Ye Yang in her left hand and the severely injured Zhang Tianhe in her right. Her beautiful eyes were fixed on the Earth Scorpion Swarm in the gorge as she bit her lip and said, "Hmph, even a Starry Sky Expert wouldn't be foolish enough to take on the Earth Scorpion Swarm. You two are truly idiots!"
Seeing that Zhang Tianhe was unharmed, Ye Yang felt relieved and smiled slightly. If Yun Xiaoxi wanted to scold him, so be it; after all, she had saved his life.
