Royal Nursery Adventures: The Little Emperor's Special Forces Quest

In the Golden Hall, the Little Emperor tugged at my clothes, crying out in a babyish voice for me to let him ride on my back. The civil and military officials were watching me with amused expressions, these old foxes were waiting to see the joke of me, the First Royal Nursery Special Principal.
I yawned nonchalantly, preparing to brush it off as usual with "The Power of Love Spins Around," when I caught sight of the Little Emperor secretly pulling out a shiny golden dagger and pressing it against his own neck.
"If you don't let me ride today, I'll die right here!"
I felt no stirrings in my heart, and even found it somewhat amusing; this little brat probably didn't even know how to write the word "die."
Just then, a loud rumble echoed from outside the hall. Suddenly, a eunuch came tumbling in, panic-stricken, shouting, "Your Majesty! Something terrible has happened! The Demon Clan... they have invaded!"
My eyelid twitched. An invasion by the Demon Clan? This plot sounded so familiar. Did some clueless fool trigger the main storyline?
"The Demon Clan has invaded!?"
The officials immediately erupted into chaos. Usually dignified and full of moral righteousness, they now flailed about like headless flies. Some even went weak in the knees and collapsed on the ground, a faint stench wafting from their pants.
"Your Majesty, the Demon Clan is notoriously ruthless; please seek refuge at once!"
"Yes, Your Majesty! As long as we have the green mountains, we need not fear for firewood!"

Looking at these cowardly individuals, I sneered. I picked up the Little Emperor and skillfully navigated through the panicking crowd. No one noticed that my seemingly casual steps cleverly avoided everyone. Although this body had never practiced martial arts, my instincts from my past life as a Special Forces operative were more than enough to handle such a situation.
"Protect the Emperor! Quickly, protect the Emperor!"
As I dodged through the panicked crowd, I remained still, observing my surroundings and searching for an escape route.
"I found it!"
My eyes lit up; it was a hidden passage behind the Golden Hall, rarely known to anyone. I had discovered it by chance on one occasion.
Holding the Little Emperor tightly, I swiftly made my way to the entrance of the passage. Glancing back at the chaotic Golden Hall, a smirk of mockery appeared on my lips.
"Where is His Majesty? Where is His Majesty?"
It was only then that the officials realized the Little Emperor, who had been seated on the dragon throne, was missing!
"That Lin Fan from the Royal Nursery is also gone!" someone exclaimed from the crowd.
All eyes turned to the entrance of the Golden Hall, where only Eunuch Wang remained, looking meaningfully in our direction.
Eunuch Wang cleared his throat, his sharp voice echoing in the hall: "My Lords, please remain calm. His Majesty has already gone to a safe place. I ask you all to follow this old servant to discuss strategies for repelling the enemy."
After speaking, Eunuch Wang turned and left the Golden Hall. The officials exchanged glances but ultimately chose to trust Eunuch Wang's words and followed him out.
Only the Imperial Guard Commander remained, his face pale with anger, veins bulging in his hand gripping the sword at his waist. The invasion of the demon race was a catastrophe; he had to organize forces immediately to resist them, or the entire imperial city would become a hell on earth!
"Come here! Send the order down: all Imperial Guards assemble immediately and follow me to the city gate to fend off the demons!"
At the command of the Imperial Guard Commander, the entire palace instantly entered a state of readiness.

In the secret passage behind the Golden Hall, I held the Little Emperor, quickly moving forward with the help of the torches on the wall.
"Lin Fan, where are we going?"
The Little Emperor asked curiously as he rested on my shoulder.
"I'm taking you to a safe place."
I replied without looking back.
This secret passage twisted and turned, leading who knows where. As I walked, I recalled memories of this passage in my mind.
"Right, this passage should lead to the back mountain of the palace. There is a hidden villa built by the Former Emperor to escape from war; very few people know about it."
I thought to myself.
After walking for about a stick of incense's worth of time, I finally reached the end of the path, where a heavy stone door appeared.
I set down the Little Emperor and pushed open the stone door with force, a wave of decaying air rushing towards me.
Behind the stone door was a spacious secret chamber, and in the center of the chamber stood a massive Bronze Coffin.
"What is this place?" the Little Emperor asked curiously.
I did not answer but walked straight to the Bronze Coffin, extending my hand to gently touch its surface.
The surface of the coffin was intricately carved with lifelike patterns, featuring a Divine Dragon soaring through clouds, a Phoenix spreading its wings in flight, and various rare and exotic beasts, all showcasing the noble status of the coffin's owner during their lifetime.
"Could it be that this is..."
A bold guess surged into my mind.
At that moment, I suddenly heard faint footsteps behind me.
Startled, I turned around quickly to see Eunuch Wang standing at the entrance of the secret passage, wearing a sinister smile on his face.
