They chose these two "fools" because they often frequented this casino and everyone knew their situation well—they drove heavy-duty trucks primarily between Qiyang City and Liyuan City. Most importantly, these "fools" loved to gamble and would lose themselves in excitement whenever they won money. So tonight's setup was waiting for them to fall into it—and indeed they did.
As for why this trap was set up? It certainly wasn't just to win a little money from them; these were organized gangsters who had plenty of money and didn't need theirs. Therefore, there was no need for them to repay the three hundred thousand borrowed from the casino; all they needed to do was help with one task. Once completed, that debt would be wiped clean. At this point, Zhou Guang slammed on the gas and crashed into the rear of Tian Dafei's vehicle while he braked and slowed down. They watched as the middle vehicle—a BENZ S600—was crushed between two heavy trucks, and naturally, those inside were turned into a pulp.
After the accident occurred, police quickly arrived at the scene to investigate. Zhou Guang and Tian Dafei followed their prearranged story with Zhuge Master, ensuring that this meticulously planned murder would be classified as an accident. Of course, the role played by the police was crucial; if there had been even one competent officer involved, this case would not have concluded in such a manner. In the end, Zhou Guang and Tian Dafei did not face criminal charges; they were only responsible for civil compensation. This compensation came from the casino Boss as well. Considering various factors, police generally do not allow victims' families to meet with drivers involved in accidents; thus, both men walked free.
After everything concluded, the casino Boss kept his word and gave each of them one hundred thousand while arranging for them to leave Qiyang City for Liyuan City to start anew. Consequently, both resigned from their previous transportation company and relocated under the Boss's arrangement.
Years passed; Zhou Guang's night market business thrived while Tian Dafei opened his own auto parts store. Life was good for both of them. They believed that what happened years ago had become nothing but a distant memory that no one would recall again. However, unexpectedly, fate intervened; seven years later, they would face legal judgment once more.
This was all Zhou Guang revealed. From his account, Xin Yi discovered three other individuals of interest: one was a Vice Leader, another Zhuge Master, and yet another was the casino Boss. Analyzing what he knew led him to conclude that the Vice Leader must be Yan Zheng—the Vice Leader of Black Dragon Society and godson of Ren Xiaotian—while Zhuge Master likely referred to Zhuge Kong—the Hall Master of Hidden Dragon Hall within Black Dragon Society. But who exactly was this casino Boss? According to Zhou Guang's description, he operated in Qiyang City; it seemed further investigation would be necessary upon returning there to locate him for more evidence.
Dingxiang seemed exhausted from her thoughts; she tossed aside her belt and sat back down on her bed in silence. Xin Yi glanced at her and asked, "Sister Dingxiang, now that we have a clearer understanding of events, what are you planning to do?"
To his surprise, Dingxiang sighed and replied, "What can I do? What else is there? I can only vent my frustrations on them; am I supposed to kill them? Although I want revenge for Xiaowei's sake, if I did that wouldn't I become just as much of a beast as they are? Besides, they're not even the masterminds behind this; if I'm going to seek revenge, I need to find out who truly orchestrated it!"
