Xin Yi honestly followed a few guards into the car. What else could he do? If his two future wives were in someone else's hands, he would be helpless too. Regardless of the dangers ahead, he was never one to back down. He thought to himself that if he ended up with a big scar, he could always take his two beautiful future wives and jump off a cliff together. After doing it once or twice, he would gain some experience. If they survived, he could write a book about it and sell it, titled "Let Me Jump Again."
When the car stopped at the entrance of the Military District Command, Xin Yi jumped out and strode towards Liu Dingbang's office. The four guards hurriedly followed him, fearing he might rush into the office and do something dangerous to Liu Dingbang. "You will pay for your arrogance today!" This time it was the third guard expressing his anger. This guard was the leader among them. "Hahaha..." Xin Yi laughed and then sized up this guard with the eyes of a predator eyeing its prey. "Those with real strength show off because they're impressive; those without strength who still try to show off are fools. You must belong to the latter category? Fine then, I'll indulge you."
"I... you... you can only talk big!" The guard was so enraged by Xin Yi that he stammered out his words while catching his breath. "Are you ready? I'm about to start!"
"Ready," Xin Yi replied cheerfully. "Are you ready too? Then I'll start counting: one... two..." Just as he said "two," he suddenly struck out with his right fist straight at the guard's face and kicked at his abdomen with his right leg. The move was executed extremely quickly; while the guard was focused on listening to Xin Yi count down and was on high alert, he didn't expect such a sudden attack at such speed—there was no time to dodge! He felt sharp pain in both his face and abdomen simultaneously as he flew backward through the air for three or four meters before crashing down... "Three... time's up!" Xin Yi said casually.
The entire series of actions was completed in the blink of an eye. The three people nearby had not even reacted when their companion was already sent flying three to four meters away. The man who was thrown struggled to lift his head from the ground, blood covering his face as he said, "You... cheated!" "Arrogant!" One guard angrily cursed as he leaped into action, crossing his legs in mid-air to kick towards Xin Yi's head. This move might have been one of his most powerful techniques; in an instant, it seemed as though countless legs were aimed at Xin Yi's upper body with a fierce momentum approaching.
However, Xin Yi remained calm. Back when Shen Liwei's leg techniques were above those of this guard's level, Xin Yi could defeat opponents with just one move. Moreover, this guard's leg technique was not as practical as Shen Liwei's; Shen Liwei’s kicks were swift and stable with continuous changes in attack direction. With no way to maintain balance after ascending two or three meters under gravity's pull, he quickly fell back down with a loud thud onto the hard stone floor, shaking the entire corridor slightly.
"How about that? Are you convinced now?" Xin Yi said calmly with one hand behind his back. "From now on, don’t go around imitating others; Zhou Xingxing’s Deadly Scissors Kick isn’t meant to be used like that."
"You... how did you do that?" The guard who fell to the ground grimaced in pain while rubbing his battered backside. This move had always worked well for him; he never expected someone could easily counter it and send him crashing down so badly. Could it be that what he once thought was an unbeatable technique turned out to be so vulnerable? Unable to contain himself any longer, he asked: "Tell me! How did you do that? No one has ever dodged my move before!"
