The Female Traffic Officer was thoroughly enraged by Xin Yi. Does being wealthy make someone superior? Can the rich drive their luxury SUVs worth over two million through crowded city streets without regard? Can they run red lights at will? Can they casually throw money around like it's nothing, treating noble police officers like beggars? Can they ignore someone who is known in the department as a beauty? The Female Traffic Officer found numerous reasons to justify her outburst, conveniently forgetting that Xin Yi had violated traffic laws while saving someone. What infuriated her the most was that this man didn't even bother to look at her. Was her reputation as a beauty in the police department just a fabrication? That couldn't be right; many male colleagues were eager to get close to her, and even on duty, she often encountered unbelievable characters. Recently, there was a foolish rich kid who got fined for speeding by her. To her surprise, he shamelessly asked for her phone number. Naturally, she refused, but that idiot came up with a malicious plan: from that day on, whenever he found out where she was on duty, he would drive there and deliberately break the law in front of her just to get closer to her, leaving her feeling both amused and exasperated. 0

Yet this stunningly beautiful police officer was being completely ignored by the man before her, which only fueled her anger further. With her hands on her hips and a fierce demeanor, she shouted loudly, "Put away your filthy money! Do you think being rich makes you special?! I have never liked people like you who think they can act superior just because they have a bit of money! So you’re wealthy? Why haven’t I seen you donate to charity? Why haven’t I seen you help earthquake victims? Why haven’t I seen you support underprivileged children? Don’t act like you’re generous with me! Disgusting!" Her words were passionate and righteous! Coupled with her powerful voice, the air around them vibrated slightly. 0

"Uh..." Xin Yi was taken aback by the Female Traffic Officer's shouting. His hand holding the cash froze in mid-air as he looked at her and muttered, "So I’ve encountered a lunatic." With that, he put his keys and cash away and ignored the Female Traffic Officer standing before him. 0

"What did you say?!" The Female Traffic Officer clearly heard Xin Yi's words, and her anger flared even more. Her chest heaved with rage as if it might explode. 0

"I said I've encountered a lunatic!" Xin Yi repeated his earlier words loudly with a cold tone. He figured this Female Traffic Officer must be mentally unstable or perhaps suffering from some midlife crisis symptoms. However, that reasoning seemed off; she looked to be in her early twenties and shouldn't be experiencing such issues so early. 0

"You... outrageous!" In her fury, the Female Traffic Officer no longer cared about anything else and reached for Xin Yi's collar as if she were about to drag him off to the station. But who was Xin Yi? How could he let a mere traffic officer grab his collar? As soon as he saw her hand reaching for him, he quickly grabbed her wrist instead. The Female Traffic Officer felt her fingers touch his collar but was caught off guard when he tightened his grip on her wrist. In desperation, she kicked towards Xin Yi's abdomen. 0

Xin Yi was sitting down when he saw the Female Traffic Officer's right leg swinging towards him. He quickly grabbed her calf with his left hand. The Female Traffic Officer felt a sharp pain in her calf as if it were caught in an iron clamp. She struggled several times but couldn't free herself. However, trying to pull away caused her balance to falter; standing on one leg made it difficult to maintain stability, resulting in a rather comical hopping motion. 0

The Female Traffic Officer realized how undignified she looked at that moment and glanced around nervously. Just then, she spotted a Middle-Aged Nurse walking around the corner and thought that if anyone saw her in such a disgraceful state, it would ruin her image as a police officer. In a panic, she whispered fiercely, "Let go!" 0

Xin Yi had only acted to control the Female Traffic Officer out of necessity. Seeing the nurse approaching and hearing the officer tell him to let go made him hesitate; he feared that if he released her, she might suddenly attack again. So he loosened his grip slightly. The moment she felt his hold on her wrist and calf loosened, she tried to retract her right leg but suddenly felt a force pushing her backward. She quickly stepped back to regain balance; although she managed to pull back her leg, she still lost stability and stumbled several steps before falling hard onto the hard floor with a thud. Her small rear end bounced against the unforgiving surface, causing pain that made her grit her teeth and tears well up in her eyes. 0

Xin Yi hadn't expected such an outcome; he merely intended to push the Female Traffic Officer away to prevent any sudden attacks. Given how aggressive she'd been moments earlier, he thought she'd retaliate with punches or kicks. Who would have guessed that such a light push would cause her to lose balance? He felt helpless—if she couldn't handle such minor physicality, why challenge him at all? Wasn't this just typical trouble-seeking behavior? However, Xin Yi also felt somewhat guilty; after all, she was just doing her job and aside from having a bad temper, hadn’t done anything wrong. Moreover, considering she was just a girl, it must be quite embarrassing for her to fall like that. 0

Thinking this over, Xin Yi quickly stood up and walked over to the Female Traffic Officer, extending his hand. "I'm sorry! I didn't mean it; let me help you up." 0

The Female Traffic Officer glared at Xin Yi with resentment while sitting on the ground unable to move. Tears were about to fall from her eyes but she stubbornly held them back and shouted angrily, "Get lost! Don't pretend to be nice with me!" 0

Xin Yi had already been on guard against the fierce Female Traffic Officer, anticipating that she would explode again. Therefore, he was not surprised at all. Since she wouldn't let him intervene, he decided not to get involved and simply withdrew his hand, turning back to sit on the bench. This left the Female Traffic Officer on the ground rolling her eyes in frustration, but due to the pain, she couldn't get up right away. 0

The approaching Middle-Aged Nurse saw the situation and hurried over to help the Female Traffic Officer up, asking, "Are you okay? Did you hurt yourself? Let me help you to that bench to rest." As she spoke, she supported the Female Traffic Officer and started walking her toward the chairs. However, because the fall was quite hard, the Female Traffic Officer was still recovering and found it difficult to move her feet. The Middle-Aged Nurse glanced at Xin Yi sitting on the bench and reproached him, saying, "How can you be such a big man with so little grace? Why don't you come over and apologize and help her?" 0

Xin Yi was not a petty person and felt that the nurse had a point when he heard her say that. He stood up, preparing to help, but at that moment, the Female Traffic Officer glared at the nurse and said angrily, "Don't call him! I don't want his help!" 0

Hearing this, Xin Yi felt it would be pointless to insist. The nurse looked between them with an expression of understanding and said to the Female Traffic Officer, "Alright, we don't need that smelly man’s help; we women can manage ourselves. Come on, let me help you over." 0

Xin Yi found this remark utterly ridiculous. What had he done to deserve this? Why was every woman giving him such a hard time? He could understand why the Female Traffic Officer was upset, but what had he done to offend the nurse? It seemed he hadn’t wronged her at all. However, in this situation, he felt it would be unwise to argue; doing so might lead to a confrontation with two women who were clearly not in their right minds. So he remained silent. 0

With the nurse's assistance, the Female Traffic Officer slowly made her way to the edge of the bench but deliberately kept her distance from where Xin Yi was sitting. While he occupied one end of the bench, she walked toward the other end. "Alright, sit down and rest for a bit," said the nurse. The Female Traffic Officer, holding onto the backrest of the bench, slowly sat down. However, as soon as her bottom touched the seat, she immediately jumped back up with a gasp; it turned out that sitting was impossible due to her injury—any contact caused sharp pain. Tears streamed down her face uncontrollably. The nurse noticed this and realized that she might have sustained a serious injury. She shot an annoyed glance at Xin Yi and said, "I can't believe you! Don't you have any compassion? If something serious happens because of this fall, it will be your loss too! Enough standing there like an idiot; come here and hold her while she lies on your lap. I'll go find a stretcher." 0

Upon hearing this directive from the nurse, Xin Yi was taken aback. Just moments ago when he tried to help her up, she refused; now how could he possibly hold her while she lay on his lap? He hesitated and said, "I... I don't think that's appropriate." 0

"What do you mean inappropriate?" The nurse was getting angry now. "You’re a man! It’s just a little quarrel! After a few words of comfort, won't everything be fine again? You young people always love to make things complicated! Hurry up!" 0

Feeling overwhelmed by this unexpected turn of events, Xin Yi realized that the Middle-Aged Nurse seemed to think of him and the Female Traffic Officer as a couple having a spat. This was quite dramatic; no wonder she had said such nonsensical things! But this wasn’t right at all—how could he follow through with what she suggested? 0

At that moment, the Female Traffic Officer, supported by the nurse, also caught on to what was being implied by her words. How could this overly enthusiastic nurse mix things up like this? She was still single and had no boyfriend; how could she be paired with this self-important man? Lying on his lap would ruin her reputation! It seemed like staying in this crazy place any longer would only lead to more trouble. 0

Thinking this way made her forget about any penalties for violations; she turned and ran toward the elevator. However, due to her injured backside still causing pain, her running looked quite comical—her already rounded figure swayed awkwardly as she limped along... 0

Watching the Female Traffic Officer disappear into the elevator, Xin Yi couldn't help but think wickedly: "How is she going to ride a motorcycle now?" 0
