As they spoke, a figure suddenly emerged from the dust of the collapsed building.
Li Nan instinctively drew his Desert Eagle, remaining on high alert.
The figure across from him also sensed the situation and shouted, "Is that you, Brother Nan? It's me, Lin Hai!"
Hearing his voice, Li Nan quickly holstered his Desert Eagle and asked, "How did you get here?"
The figure hurriedly inquired, "What exactly happened? How did things end up like this?"
"That Fatty explained, 'The camp was attacked by a tank!'

Under the Small Buildings, several corpses lay sprawled out, all belonging to Fatty's heavy Machine Gunners. They hadn't even had a chance to fight back before being killed or injured by the incoming artillery fire!

At the same time, Lin Hai had already climbed onto the back of that tank and gently scaled its rear cover.
With an AK-47 slung across his back, Lin Hai grabbed a handful of sand from the ground with both hands to increase friction. Then he jumped up from a flat position and stepped onto the rear track of the tank to climb up using its leverage.

The person inside stood upright, gun pointed at Lin Hai, and smiled. "How could it not be me?"
