In the gymnasium, Fatty restrained Scar and Mighty Bull, while the others, Liu Long and Younger Brother, were held down by Bitter Melon and Long-Faced Man. The remaining individuals were led by the bald man, known as Second Brother.
Li Nan lowered the gun he was pointing at Liu Long's forehead and called out to his brothers behind him, "Do we have any ropes?"
Fatty complied immediately, unbuckling Scar's belt and tossing it into Li Nan's hands without any objections from Scar. After catching it, Li Nan smirked at Liu Long and said, "I apologize for putting you in this position, Brother Long. Since things are unclear right now, I can't let you die just yet!"
Lin Hai had already received Li Nan's orders and rushed out with his gun in hand, moving swiftly.
Liu Long couldn't possibly have any tricks up his sleeve now; he shouldn't be able to stir up much trouble. However, caution is never a bad thing. Although Li Nan didn't know exactly what had happened in the camp, he couldn't believe it was unrelated to Liu Long.
Just as Lin Hai leaped out, Li Nan suddenly turned to the bald man and asked, "Now that we're at this point, what are your plans?"
With things having developed to this stage, the bald man felt somewhat at a loss. He glanced over to where Gao Hu's body lay under the previous dining table. Although Gao Hu was known for his brutality, he had treated the bald man fairly well. Now faced with this situation, what path should the bald man take?
He raised his firearm towards the sky and said, "I'm not an ambitious person. The one who killed my boss was Liu Long. As long as I can personally take down Liu Long, I will leave the camp with my brothers afterward. I wonder if Brother Nan would allow us to go?"

Behind the bald man stood over ten brothers, all bearing some injuries from the recent gunfight, indicating they had suffered losses.
The brothers stared at the bald man's face, wavering in their decision. Their feelings for Gao Hu were merely based on being fed and controlled; there was no real emotional bond. Therefore, they were reluctant to follow the bald man out of the camp into uncertainty when they could remain in a stable environment. Who would want to venture outside without any guarantees?
The bald man saw the expressions of his brothers and immediately shook his head, saying, "Forget it, since you all are unwilling to follow me, I won't force you. I'll just go alone when the time comes!"
As he spoke, the bald man drew a dagger from behind his waist, turned around, and approached the table where Gao Hu was sitting. He swiftly plunged the blade down, decapitating Gao Hu in one swift motion.
He took off his outer coat, wrapped it around Gao Hu's head, and draped it over his shoulder. He then said to Li Nan, "The camp no longer needs me; I should be able to leave now, right?"
Li Nan saw that the bald man was indeed a person of character and felt a deep admiration. However, as he had already stated before, there was no chance for him to backtrack now. He could only softly say, "With such a change in the camp, this is precisely the time we need people. Do you really have the heart to just walk away? Besides, I am not one to hold grudges. As long as you are willing to pledge your loyalty to the camp again, I will not question your past actions!"
The bald man carried Gao Hu's head on his back. His willingness to do so stemmed from his gratitude for Gao Hu's recognition of him. A person who remembers their former master would never easily submit to another.
The bald man shook his head and said, "You won't let Liu Long go, right? Then I can rest assured. I think I should leave now!"
He tightened the bundle on his back, holding the knife in his left hand and a gun in his right, ready to head out. Seeing this scene, Li Nan shook his head inwardly and thought, "We are losing a good man; what a pity!"

Fatty and the other three naturally did not dare to neglect Li Nan's orders. However, the people under Second Brother were hesitant; they had not received Li Nan's promise, so how could they easily pledge their loyalty to him?
At that moment, the bald man who had already stepped out suddenly shouted, "What the hell are you all dawdling for? Get out there and follow Brother Nan!"
Hearing their former leader speak, the brothers under Second Brother and Gao Hu all jolted and hurriedly ran out.
Seeing the camp seemed to be facing a great enemy, Scar immediately volunteered, saying, "Brother Nan, I, Scar, must take the lead. For the camp's survival or death, I will not back down!"

Li Nan held up the man's corpse and angrily declared, "Today, anyone who dares to be a deserter will face my wrath first. Their fate will be like this. Whoever wishes to fight alongside me, I, Li Nan, will consider them as brothers. But anyone who dares to betray the camp should not blame me for being ruthless and merciless!"
At that moment, the guards who were running around in the camp all trembled. Although they felt apprehensive inside, their gun barrels were still aimed at the Long-Haired Big Monkey who was about to charge into the camp.
Seeing this, Li Nan immediately commanded, "I don't care who is leading that group of Heavy Machine Gunners and Gunslingers. Fatty, you are their leader now; make sure to leverage our heavy firepower!"
Fatty shouted in response, "Understood!"

The bald man did not hesitate and immediately shouted, "Understood!" He then led his dozen or so brothers out through the side door.
"Bitter Melon, Long-Faced Man, you two gather your brothers and make sure all the civilians in the camp are settled. Do not let any disturbances occur. Once that is done, organize your firepower and prepare for backup. I fear this situation may not be as simple as we imagine!"
"Yes!" Bitter Melon and Scarface shouted in response, while Lin Hai leaned closer to Li Nan, saying, "Today I will fight alongside Brother Nan!"

After speaking, Li Nan turned to the two big men, Scarface and Mighty Bull. "Brothers, it seems today you will have to follow me into danger!"
