A Fei saw the earth in the pit stirring, and faintly discerned a layer of shiny, fish-scale-like substance. He was immediately alarmed, and at that moment, Fatty, buried in the dirt, struggled to poke his head out!
Fatty blinked his round eyes and exclaimed, "Brother A Fei, you really are something!"
Seeing that Fatty was completely oblivious, A Fei shouted, "Can't you feel there's something down there?"
Fatty dismissed A Fei's words, saying, "You're just talking nonsense. What else could be in this pit besides me?"
As the earth continued to shift, a layer of bluish-white scales began to emerge.
Fatty grabbed the belt that A Fei had thrown down and replied, "Pull away!"
A Fei's expression darkened. If he wasn't mistaken, there was more than just that Mutant Snake in the Granary; there must be some massive creature lurking as well!
Just as Fatty was gaining strength to climb up, he suddenly sensed something unusual beneath him. Looking down, he was shocked to see two basketball-sized eyes glowing with a faint green light peeking out from under his pants!
Seeing this scene caused Fatty to panic and lose control, scrambling desperately to climb up.
Fatty could see clearly, and A Fei saw it even better. He shouted, "The Mutant Snake is below!"
With Fatty's frantic movements, the soil beneath the pit was suddenly pushed up by a massive creature. A large head emerged, with a forked tongue flicking out—it was indeed a giant snake!
A Fei observed that the snake was not just as thick as a cart axle; it had at least doubled in size.
The giant snake raised its head, revealing two sharp fangs and a long tongue that flicked in and out.
Fatty dared not look back; he desperately clung to A Fei's belt, using both hands and feet to climb. However, due to his size limitations, he wasn't very fast, and despite being over three meters deep in the pit, he couldn't manage to get out.
At that moment, the giant snake behind Fatty had already opened its mouth wide and lunged at him!
Fatty's face was drenched in sweat; he certainly did not want to meet his end in the snake's mouth. His bulk was not something just anyone could digest.
Knowing he couldn't climb up, Fatty turned around and pulled out his Submachine Gun, aiming it at the snake's mouth for a quick shot.
But before Fatty could fire, the giant snake exhaled, releasing a wave of foul air that hit Fatty square in the face.
In that moment, Fatty was completely stunned; he hadn't even managed to pull the trigger when the massive snake lunged at him.
With its gaping maw, the snake swallowed Fatty whole, and before he could react, it began to swallow him down its throat.
A Fei watched as Fatty's legs flailed for a moment before disappearing into the belly of the giant snake. He was horrified, his own legs trembling uncontrollably.
As the snake stretched its neck, preparing to swallow, a burst of bullets suddenly flew from behind A Fei.
The snake's lower half was buried in the ground, while its upper half extended about seven or eight meters long.
The volley of bullets struck true but felt like they were hitting steel; aside from sparking a few flames, they had no effect whatsoever.
Before the snake could finish swallowing Fatty, it immediately spat him out upon being disturbed.
Fatty fell from a height of five or six meters without any reaction, covered in a layer of green slime.
When A Fei turned around, he saw Li Nan and Lin Hai standing behind him.
The earlier volley of bullets had been fired by Lin Hai.
Seeing someone behind him brought A Fei back to his senses. He raised his Submachine Gun and, disregarding aim, fired directly at the giant snake.

Li Nan leaped forward, drawing out his Desert Eagle, and fired bullets that flew straight from the chamber.
Li Nan knew that the scales of the giant snake were extremely hard, making it difficult for bullets to penetrate, so he did not aim for its body. His target was the snake's two eyes.
The three of them fell to the ground together, but fortunately, none were hit by the snake's body; otherwise, they would have been turned into paste.

After two failed attempts, the two eyeballs beneath the dark gray keratin membrane glimmered with fury. At this moment, Li Nan shouted, "I'll distract that thing; you two take Fatty out first!"
Lin Hai looked troubled and seemed unwilling to leave Li Nan behind. A Fei also became filled with rage, saying, "This thing is too much! If I don't kill it today, I won't be able to face Fatty!"
Li Nan smiled boldly and quoted a line from a play, "Whoever fights alongside me today will be my brother!"
Before Li Nan could finish his declaration, the giant snake began to shake violently as if trying to completely emerge from underground.
Li Nan glanced and immediately noticed that the large snake was definitely unable to move quickly; otherwise, it would have chased them out long ago instead of using its head to strike and venom to attack.
Seizing the opportunity, Li Nan dashed directly to the side of the pit, which was right beneath the snake. Since the snake was rearing up, this area became its blind spot.
Beside him, Lin Hai understood Li Nan's intention and immediately used an AK-47 to provide fire cover for him. Although the bullets had no effect on the large snake, they were effective in distracting it.

The snake bent its neck, presenting a head the size of a small car directly in front of Li Nan, with its crimson tongue flicking out.
Li Nan chuckled and said, "Brother, don't worry! I'm just checking to see if you have any skin diseases!"
Of course, the large snake couldn't understand Li Nan's humor; it merely fixed its gaze on him and opened its mouth wide as if intending to swallow him like it did with Fatty.
Li Nan remained smiling, tightly gripping the snake's body with his legs. He held onto a piece of snake scale with his left hand while drawing out his Desert Eagle with his right.
Just as the snake was about to swallow Li Nan whole, he fired a bullet from his Desert Eagle, instantly severing the crimson tongue in two.
The snake suddenly jerked its body and let out a furious howl. Its bleeding tongue drooped like a man who had just been castrated.
But the show wasn't over yet. After landing a successful hit, Li Nan used both hands with force and managed to rip off a piece of scale from the large snake. The flesh connecting to the scale tore open as well, blood gushing out.
Li Nan laughed heartily, "Tough luck for you today! Since you've run into me, if I don't skin you alive and pull your tendons out, I won't be a hero!"
With the Vigo Knife in hand, he plunged it directly into the serpent's body.
