The Fire Phoenix became furious under Aotian's gaze. How dare this little ant look at me with such contempt? This is intolerable!
"You brat, I want to see if your strength matches your big words!"
With a sudden roar, the Fire Phoenix unleashed a torrent of searing flames from its mouth, engulfing Aotian and uncontrollably flying towards the center of Wutong City.
Niu Geng and the others were startled by this scene. They immediately tried to intervene but were stopped by Qin Zhengming and others. Soon after, a fierce battle erupted.
However, no one noticed that a young man was slowly approaching from a distance, his gaze fixed on Qin Zhengming and the others.
In the center of Wutong City, the Fire Phoenix lay quietly, drawing immense life force from all directions into its body. Upon closer inspection, it was evident that the surrounding Phoenix Trees were gradually withering away, and the area of decay was expanding.

Yet, despite the Fire Phoenix's threats, Aotian remained unfazed, his eyes filled with mockery as if to say: "Little bird, show me what you've got."
The proud nature of the Fire Phoenix meant that Aotian had undoubtedly enraged it completely.
Indeed, the murderous intent in the Fire Phoenix's eyes began to coalesce as it spoke ominously:

As soon as the words fell, the fiery cage imprisoning Aotian twisted strangely, transforming into thin strands of Fire Energy that wrapped around Aotian's body.
Instantly, a scorching sensation continuously stimulated Aotian's nerves, but he gritted his teeth and did not utter a sound.
Only the cold sweat on his forehead and the bulging veins were clear indicators of the incredible pain Aotian was enduring at that moment.
"Kid, if you kneel and beg for mercy now, I will let you go. Otherwise, prepare to be burned to death by Phoenix Fire!"
Aotian, enduring the excruciating pain, replied word by word:
"Do you really think I can't deal with you?!"
As he spoke, a golden talisman suddenly appeared in Aotian's right hand.
"What is this?" A rare seriousness flickered in Fire Phoenix's eyes as he fixed his gaze on the talisman in Aotian's right hand.
Aotian let out a sinister laugh and then crushed the talisman with force.
Immediately, a terrifying surge of Soul Power erupted forth. Under the pressure of this Soul Power, numerous Phoenix Trees shattered into countless fragments, and the Wutong Great Formation collapsed instantly.
However, at that moment, Fire Phoenix could no longer concern himself with the Wutong Great Formation. His gaze was locked onto the vast ocean of Soul Power before Aotian. There, he sensed a deadly crisis.
"Tsk tsk, I didn't expect that a small Fengyun Nation would hide a Fire Phoenix. This is truly unexpected."
A familiar laughter echoed through the air, and suddenly a figure appeared in Aotian's sight.
Though the figure did not seem imposing, it felt as if it could support the entire world. Under this presence, everything in existence seemed to dim. This aura was definitely not something an ordinary person could possess.
"Teacher!"
Seeing this figure, Aotian exclaimed in surprise.
"Arriving at the Innate Nine Levels so slowly, how foolish! You've embarrassed me completely!"
The figure slowly turned around, revealing a handsome and unruly face that came into Aotian's view.
This sudden appearance was none other than Aotian's teacher, Yan. Although Yan was sternly reprimanding Aotian, the hint of relief and indulgence in his eyes was evident.

However, Yan seemed to be oblivious to Aotian's suffering and calmly said,

Fire Phoenix couldn't help but laugh heartily, filled with disdain.
Yan turned to glance at the sweating Aotian and said,

Although Aotian was somewhat curious about what benefits his teacher was referring to, he chose to unconditionally trust him.
Thus, he firmly nodded and said with difficulty,

Upon hearing this, a look of relief spread across Yan's face, and then he turned his gaze toward Fire Phoenix, his eyes glinting with cold light.
