After Aotian killed Fan Lian, the news of Fan Lian's death quickly reached the Azure Cloud Sect.
Although the Azure Cloud Sect did not know that Fan Lian was killed by Aotian, they were aware that his death was closely related to Sun Jing. After all, Fan Lian was sent by Elder Chen Buren to kill Sun Jing.

"Sun Jing, come out, I know you are inside!" The High Priest said calmly while gazing at the now silent cave.
"Thud thud thud"
Suddenly, a series of footsteps echoed from within the stone cave, and then Aotian stepped out first.
Niu Geng and Sun Jing followed closely behind him like his loyal guardians.
As Aotian emerged from the cave, several figures came into his view.
The foremost figure was a middle-aged man dressed in bright red robes, radiating an intense heat from his body.
Because Sun Jing had introduced the Offering of the Azure Cloud Sect to Aotian in the cave, Aotian immediately recognized that the person before him was Huo Wutian, the High Priest of the Azure Cloud Sect.
The two middle-aged men standing behind Huo Wutian were likely the Second Offering and the Third Offering of the Azure Cloud Sect.
These three were the Spirit Realm Martial Artists who were involved in the encirclement of Aotian.
Behind these three Offerings stood a group of Half-Step Human Spirit Realm warriors, all infused with a layer of Mystical Energy, indicating that they were outstanding disciples of the Azure Cloud Sect.
After Aotian's gaze swept over them, it finally settled on their leader, Huo Wutian.
Due to Chen Qiao's death, Aotian's appearance had become well-known within the Azure Cloud Sect. Thus, as soon as Aotian emerged, he was recognized by the members of the Azure Cloud Sect.
"You finally woke up? I thought you would never wake again!" Huo Wutian said with a hint of disdain as he saw Aotian.
Aotian was not surprised by Huo Wutian's words. After all, he had been unconscious and was carried around by Niu Geng while fleeing. It was only natural for Huo Wutian to know about his condition.
"I have long heard of the High Priest's reputation. Unfortunately, I was injured and unconscious before, so I missed the chance to meet you. I truly feel ashamed. Now that I see you, it is indeed better to hear about you than to meet you in person," Aotian said, cupping his hands in a seemingly "humble" manner.
Upon hearing Aotian's words, Huo Wutian's expression darkened like charcoal. As the High Priest of the Azure Cloud Sect, he could certainly detect the sarcasm in Aotian's tone. This guy was clearly mocking him for being shameless after attacking his companions while he was unconscious.
Especially the last remark about it being better to hear about him than to meet him directly was a direct slap in Huo Wutian's face.
Immediately, Huo Wutian coldly said, "Kid, do you dare to talk back when death is imminent? Do you believe I can make you wish you were dead?"
Aotian was startled and exclaimed dramatically, "Oh dear! I'm so scared! High Priest, please spare me! I promise I won't dare again next time!"
Aotian covered his heart with his right hand, pretending to be extremely frightened. However, the sarcasm on his face and the disdain in his tone were impossible to hide.
Huo Wutian was no stranger to the world and could easily tell that Aotian was being sarcastic. Coupled with Aotian's expression and tone, it only fueled the anger rising within this High Priest.
"You little brat, I will make sure you die without a burial place!" Huo Wutian said, emphasizing each word with a strong sense of resentment.
However, he was not a novice either. After taking a couple of deep breaths, he managed to calm the anger in his heart. He then turned his gaze toward Sun Jing beside Aotian and said:
"Sun Jing, although you are older than me and my elder, in the Dragon God World, we speak with our fists. Let me be clear: if you come back to Azure Cloud Sect with me to accept punishment, the Sect Master might spare your life considering you are a member of the Sun Family. But if you dare to resist arrest, don't blame me for not giving the Sun Family face and executing you on the spot!"
Sun Jing laughed heartily and replied, "Huo Wutian, the Old Man has eaten more salt than you have eaten rice. If you think one sentence will convince me to surrender, you underestimate me, Sun Jing!"
Upon hearing this, Huo Wutian's eyes narrowed slightly as a violent and intense energy wave suddenly spread from within him.
"Since you all want to seek death, I will grant your wish!"
