Inside Xuantian Academy, Aotian and Niu Geng walked side by side along the main road.
Niu Geng took a deep breath and said, "The air outside is so much better. After suffering in the tower for so long, I can finally come out and stretch my muscles."
Aotian couldn't help but roll his eyes. He understood what Niu Geng meant; this guy was a battle fanatic. Without the thrill of fighting in the Ice Tower, he was eager to find someone to spar with now that they were outside.
"Did you hear? Snow Qincheng got injured!"
"How is that possible? Snow Qincheng is currently ranked Fifth in the Inner Courtyard Rankings. Who could possibly hurt her?"
"It was the Vice Leader of the Sky Garment Gang. Although Snow Qincheng defeated him before, she sustained some injuries herself."
"I heard Snow Qincheng did this for that guy named Aotian in the Inner Courtyard Rankings. I really don't know what kind of luck that guy has to win over such a beauty."
"I think that guy named Aotian is just a coward. His woman is out there fighting for her life, and he doesn't even show his face. No man should be like that."
Several students from Xuantian Academy passed by Aotian, their comments reaching his ears.
Aotian's expression changed. Snow Qincheng was injured?! Suddenly, a murderous aura erupted from his eyes.
At that moment, Aotian only wanted to tear apart the one who harmed Snow Qincheng. As for being called a coward, he filtered that out completely.
Niu Geng seemed to notice the change in Aotian's expression and quickly caught up with those students, whispering something to them. Before long, he returned to Aotian's side.
Aotian knew that this guy was here to gather information, so he coldly said:
"What happened? How did Xue Qingcheng get injured?"

"The Sky Garment Gang is a colossal force within Xuantian Academy, comparable to the Mo Association. Its leader, Wei Tianyi, ranks third on the Inner Courtyard Rankings."
Aotian was slightly taken aback and quickly asked, "Did Wei Tianyi make a move against Xue Qingcheng?"
"Not really. The top three on the Inner Courtyard Rankings are elusive figures who won't easily take action within the academy," came the reply.
After hearing this, Aotian nodded slightly and then sneered, "No matter what the Sky Garment Gang is up to, I’m going to check on Xue Qingcheng. If she’s been harmed in any way, I’ll dismantle the Sky Garment Gang, beat Luxiong into a bear, and Wei Tianyi won’t escape my wrath either!"
With that, he hurried towards the courtyard where Snow Qincheng was located.
Niu Geng stared at Aotian's departing figure for a long time. Fighting Wei Tianyi? My boss really has guts; after all, the top three on the Inner Courtyard Rankings are all warriors of the Human Spirit Realm...
The courtyards of Xuantian Academy's Inner Academy students mostly looked the same, but the girls' courtyards were always a bit more beautiful.

Upon hearing this, Aotian paused. Indeed, Xue Qingcheng did not seem like someone who would act for fame or profit; so why did she go after Luxiong and the others? This left Aotian puzzled.
Seeing Aotian deep in thought, Snow Qincheng smiled slightly. Then she waved her Storage Ring, and suddenly a plant appeared in her hand. "Aotian, what do you think this is?"
Aotian's gaze fixed on the plant in Snow Qincheng's hand, his face instantly filled with surprise. "Twinleaf Grass?!"
The plant in Snow Qincheng's hand had two leaves—one green and one golden. This was exactly the Twinleaf Grass that Aotian had been interested in at the Trading Hall.
“Xue Qingcheng, how did you get this herb? It's worth two hundred thousand Contribution Points!” Aotian asked in surprise.
Snow Qincheng raised the Twinleaf Grass in her hand and proudly said, “This is the reason I challenged Luxiong and the others. I knew you really needed this herb from our time in the Trading Hall, but we didn't have enough Contribution Points. So, I challenged Luxiong and won two hundred thousand Contribution Points, then I bought this Twinleaf Grass to give to you once you came out of the tower.”
As she spoke, Snow Qincheng hurriedly placed the Twinleaf Grass into Aotian's hands.
Looking at the Twinleaf Grass in his hands, Aotian felt overwhelmed with emotion.

Suddenly, Aotian pulled Snow Qincheng into his arms and kissed her on the lips.
