In the early morning, in a simple rental room, a frail seventeen-year-old boy suddenly sprang up from his bed, looking around in panic. He rushed to the window and glanced outside.
The boy then sat on the edge of the bed, pinched himself a few times, and looked at the date displayed on his Wrist Communicator: October 25, 2038, in the Earth year of the Star Alliance. He then burst into laughter, followed by tears.
This frail boy was named Rek. Just moments ago, he remembered being twenty years in the future, evading capture by the Alien Species known as the Blade-like Mantis. At that time, Earth had already become apocalyptic; it had been infected and occupied by Alien Beings from Dark Space. Humanity was on the brink of extinction, with only two human mobile cities left: Fortress from the Star Alliance Federation and Glorious Empire.
Rek shook his head and walked to the sink in the room, splashing cold water on his face. After calming down as much as possible, he began to think.
Now Rek was grateful to discover that his soul had traveled back into his body from twenty years ago. At this time, the Main Plane of Earth was still quite safe; the large-scale invasion by Dark Space creatures had not yet occurred.
The two major factions of humanity, the Star Alliance Federation and Glorious Empire, were still in a phase of plundering resources from Dark Space, completely unaware of the disaster lurking behind it.
Due to resource depletion on Earth and the emergence of entrances connecting to Dark Space, the abundant resources within Dark Space had driven both the Star Alliance and Glorious Empire to madness, ignoring the potential threats of this unknown space.
"Since heaven has given me a second chance to return before disaster strikes, I must become strong this time and cannot run away anymore," Rek thought to himself. There was still one year and two months until the Alien Species uprising would occur in Dark Space.
He recalled later news from the Star Alliance reporting that on December 30, 2039, an uprising of Alien Species launched a surprise attack on the Star Alliance's colonial mobile Academy Fortress—Super Soldier Academy—marking the beginning of an invasion of Earth.
In this battle, a biological group organized by Intelligent Aliens destroyed the most advanced Super Soldier Academy Fortress of the Star Alliance Federation overnight and obtained numerous details about Earth's military deployments and conditions in Main Dimension Earth.
This put Earth’s Star Alliance Federation and Glorious Empire at a disadvantage during the early stages of their conflict with Alien Species. Over the next nineteen years, this disadvantage gradually expanded until humanity's home planet was almost completely occupied.
Rek recalled that in the first years of the war, he had survived by sheer luck after enrolling in a Medical University, still part of the protected population. However, as humanity gradually faced defeats against the Alien Species on the battlefield, this young medical student had no choice but to take up arms and fight against the Alien Species to secure his livelihood.
After more than a decade of life-and-death battles with the Alien Species, he had witnessed too much mortality and understood their strength.
Rek no longer harbored thoughts of saving all of humanity; that was unrealistic. What he wanted now was to become strong. Only by growing stronger could he survive the impending disaster brought by the Dark Space Alien.
Currently, even though the high-ranking officials of the Star Alliance and the Glorious Empire were aware of the threats posed by the Dark Dimension Alien Species, they would not abandon their plundering of resources from the Dark Dimension. Humanity's greedy nature made conflict with the Alien Species inevitable.
"I want to become strong, to eat whatever I want, and never again be chased for miles by the Alien Species over a piece of moldy meat." After setting this special goal for himself, Rek got up, dressed, and left his rented room.

Half an hour later, Rek was in a buffet restaurant, his table piled high with food as he ate voraciously.
With a drumstick in hand, he pondered how he could quickly transform himself into a powerful individual within just over a year.
Supporting himself against the wall as he stood up, Rek left behind a table full of empty plates, bones, and cups. A few astonished waitstaff and customers stood behind him, watching as Rek staggered away.
Walking along the bustling Pedestrian Street, Rek observed the long-missed crowds and the hovering vehicles occasionally flying overhead. He noticed middle-aged women leading children by the roadside. The 3D screens along the street continuously broadcast news about the Star Alliance team making breakthroughs in exploring Dark Space, bringing back numerous resources to Main Dimension Earth.
The citizens listening to the reports wore smiles on their faces.
But Rek knew that this peaceful life would completely vanish in just over a year; humanity would face retribution for plundering resources from Dark Space.
"Become stronger, how to quickly become stronger!" Rek thought desperately in his mind.
In his previous life, Rek studied medicine and knew that towards the end of the war against Alien Species, the research departments of the Star Alliance and the Glorious Empire successfully developed several biological Gene Drugs that could enhance a person's combat power several times in a short period. However, the formulas for these drugs were too complex, and most had significant side effects. The fundamental issue was that Rek could not remember the exact formulas for these Gene Drugs. For over a year, he relied solely on himself without a complete laboratory as support, making it impossible to produce them.
"Gene Drugs, temporarily ruled out!" Rek rubbed his overstuffed belly and continued to think.
"Right, there was a rumor circulating among the underground forces of the Star Alliance during the late stages of the Alien Species invasion, documenting a terrifying and dangerous item, an existence that completely surpassed current human technology.
The highest research laboratory of the Star Alliance had sacrificed hundreds of test subjects without fully mastering this item.
Although it had not been completely mastered, various signs indicated that this unique mysterious item could grant its possessor the ability to rapidly become stronger and obtain some powerful items.
However, the mortality rate for its owners was extremely high. In the rumors from my previous life, it was recorded that during this period, before the Alien Catastrophe erupted, this dangerous and powerful item had not yet been discovered by the Star Alliance Military." Rek suddenly recalled this piece of information.
"Taking a gamble to master this powerful thing could give me the capital to survive in the impending Alien Species invasion." Rek ultimately made up his mind to seek out becoming the owner of this dangerous item.
"The War God System Feather, a strange system that fell to Earth from an unknown time and space. According to future records from the underground forces of the Star Alliance, this terrifying feather known as the War God System can parasitize within humans and issue various missions. Completing these missions can yield unimaginable rewards; failing may lead to death or something worse than death.
This War God System Feather has caused over a hundred Hosts to die since its discovery by the Star Alliance more than ten years ago. Of course, many of these Hosts gained rewards through the War God System Feather during their lifetimes and became top combatants against Alien Species."
Rek began to recall memories from his previous life about the initial owners of the War God System Feather.
