“Bang”
The forest was illuminated by a white light, and the Mutated Monkeys scattered like the debris of fireworks, falling to the ground, twitching all over. Liu You'er was not much better off, kneeling on one knee, her chest heaving violently.
This strike seemed incredibly flashy but had directly consumed nearly half of her energy, leaving her body struggling to recover.
In the distance
“Wow wow wow! A white light just flashed over there! So beautiful, so beautiful!!!”
Xiaomin pointed in a direction, jumping excitedly while tugging at Lan Ling's arm, filled with enthusiasm.
Lan Ling maintained her poker face, her expression unchanged, but she turned her head toward the direction Xiaomin was pointing.
“Damn!”
The smell of blood in the air clearly told Liu You'er that Xuan Mo was injured.
She couldn't even see his level, which meant that the monkey was stronger than Xuan Mo...
However, even though they were less than ten meters apart, she couldn't even take a glance at Xuan Mo's situation because she was on the same level as those monkeys, and their numbers were overwhelming...
If it weren't for the fact that these monkeys had previously suffered and feared the White Lightning radiating from her, daring not to approach and giving her a chance, she would have likely been torn to shreds by now.
Earlier, she had cut off one of the monkey's tails and found that it indeed became weaker; its body immediately lost balance and its combat power dropped below that of a Second-Level Zombie. Her eyes lit up as she focused on attacking the tails of these Mutated Monkeys.
However, the good times did not last long. These monkeys had reached the Third Level and developed a certain level of intelligence. Upon seeing the gruesome fate of their companions, they seemed to awaken and tightly protected their tails, not giving Liu You'er any chance to exploit.

Xuan Mo blocked the punch from the Monkey King, but did not guard against its tail, which struck him hard in the chest, sending his body flying towards Liu You'er.
Liu You'er’s ears twitched, and she immediately dodged to the side before turning around to kick away the two Mutated Monkeys that were pouncing on her.
"Cough cough~ You, how ruthless! You actually didn't catch me!"
Liu You'er didn’t even glance at him, continuously batting away the surrounding Mutated Monkeys. Each time her Electric Blade sliced through a Mutated Monkey's body, a portion of electricity would surge into it, directly targeting its brain.
This method was effective but consumed too much energy; her body was already in a state of exhaustion. In front of her were still over twenty Mutated Monkeys, all glaring at her with murderous intent.
As for Xuan Mo, he was still half-lying on the ground coughing up blood when Liu You'er grabbed him and mercilessly threw him towards the Monkey King.
"Damn! You're committing murder!!!"
Liu You'er rolled her eyes, completely ignoring his screams. Her vision began to blur, and a buzzing sound filled her ears...

The Mutated Monkeys sensed something was off and exchanged glances. Just as they prepared to pounce on Liu You'er, they were stunned by her sudden movement and froze in place.
Liu You'er swiftly darted between the fallen Mutated Monkeys, continuously stuffing something into her mouth. Upon closer inspection, it became clear that all the dead Mutated Monkeys had holes drilled into their heads.
"Ha ha, ha ha ha, ha ha ha..."
Liu You'er slowly turned her head, revealing her blood-soaked body, exuding a strong stench of decay. The corners of her mouth curled upward as she chewed on something with a crunching sound, her gaze icy as she looked at the Mutated Monkeys. Her tongue licked the bloodstains lingering on her lips, making her seem more beastly than the beasts themselves.
The Mutated Monkeys, seeing Liu You'er like this, instinctively took a step back. However, under the command of the Monkey King to kill this female creature, they dared not disobey and launched their attack nonetheless.
"So slow."
The group of monkeys continued their assault as before, but Liu You'er's state had changed!
She had been on the brink of exhaustion, but after consuming over twenty Third Level Mutated Monkey Cores, not only was her depleted energy replenished, but she also broke through the Third Level bottleneck and entered Level Four. The monsters that had been difficult to deal with moments ago now seemed as weak as a group of three-year-old children. It was hard to believe how vast the difference was between Third Level and Level Four!
Her killing intent surged even more, and the Electric Blade glimmered with a chilling electric light.
All the Mutated Monkeys that attacked her were killed without exception. In less than five minutes, she eliminated the remaining twenty or so Mutated Monkeys, collected all the Cores into her pocket, and stood aside to watch Xuan Mo and the Monkey King fight.
Xuan Mo was covered in wounds from being struck repeatedly. After failing to defend himself once more and being knocked to the ground, he caught a glimpse of Liu You'er leisurely watching from the side without any intention of helping. Furious, he nearly spat out blood while shouting at the Monkey King, "Aren't you going to help me?"
Seeing that Liu You'er showed no sign of surprise confirmed his suspicions. After picking up the unconscious Xiao Hong, she coldly laughed and said, "I believe you can handle it. Bye-bye~"
Then she walked away without looking back, leaving Xuan Mo and the Monkey King in a daze.
After a while, once Xuan Mo confirmed that Liu You'er had truly left, his expression darkened and became cold. In the next moment, he firmly caught the Monkey King's fist and then gently tossed him aside. The previously arrogant Monkey King fell headfirst to the ground.
"Well, this is actually interesting."
He parted his thin lips as his wounds began to heal at a visible rate while the Monkey King had already gotten back up from the ground.
At this moment, it was filled with immense anger, just about to retaliate when it realized that the person in front of it was completely different from before. A strong sense of crisis urged it to flee, but the terrifying aura of this person made it too afraid to escape; it could only watch as the man wore a wicked smile and slowly reached out towards it...
"Rip!"
The sound of flesh being torn apart echoed, and Xuan Mo vanished, leaving only the dismembered body of the Monkey King behind.
On the other side,
"Xiaomin!"
Liu You'er looked at the indistinguishable level of the Zombie in front of her, along with Xiaomin, who was excitedly clinging to her. Her expression hardened as memories of her time with Liu Yue in the city resurfaced, causing an uncontrollable surge of killing intent to emanate from her.
However, in the next second, she was knocked away by the poker-faced Zombie, while Xiaomin was tightly held in the Zombie's embrace.
Xiaomin was confused and completely bewildered. She wanted to help Liu You'er but was firmly held back by Lan Ling, unable to move. Angrily, she shouted, "Why are you hitting my master! Are you crazy?!"
"Xiaomin!"
Liu You'er transformed back into her human form and smiled at her, saying, "It's okay."
She walked up to Lan Ling and locked eyes with him for a moment. Upon seeing the protective meaning in his gaze, she smiled sincerely, which stunned Lan Ling. Then he turned and communicated telepathically with Xiaomin, saying, "You can go with him; I am no longer your master."
