"I can't believe it!!!" 0

Liu You'er suddenly jumped up from the ground, exclaiming, "Who is tempting me to commit a crime!" 0

Turning around, she saw Liu Yue standing there with a dazed expression, holding an arm in his hands, a hint of confusion in his eyes. Liu You'er was taken aback, and a voice echoed in her mind: "Why isn't the master eating? Is it because there's too little?" 0

This time, Liu You'er confirmed the source of the voice and looked in astonishment at Liu Yue, whose mouth was smeared with blood and flesh, occasionally glancing at the arm he was holding while swallowing hard. The bizarre scene, combined with the cold moonlight and desolate street, left her momentarily confused: "Just now he was shouting about killing, and now he's being fed meat?" Thus, she suspiciously raised her head and asked, "Are you talking to me?" Hearing the voice, Liu Yue reluctantly shifted his gaze from his food to Liu You'er. Although his mouth hadn't moved at all, Liu You'er clearly heard his voice in her mind: "Of course! I now belong to the master, and only the master can hear my voice." 0

"Belong to me???" Liu You'er was momentarily stunned. Recalling the moment she fainted, it seemed that a force had suddenly erupted and transformed into transparent threads that extended outwards, wrapping around a black droplet-shaped crystal in Liu Yue's mind... 0

After that, she had no memory. "Could it be that I controlled Liu Yue?" she wondered. She carefully sensed her physical state and found that the warm current in her brain was still there, but the power from drinking well water was gone. Suddenly inspired, she returned to her space and took another handful of well water to drink. She felt a cool sensation coursing through her body again, eventually flooding into her brain, replenishing the little power she had left. The fatigue in her body and the pain from her broken ribs began to recover slowly. Overjoyed, after about half an hour when her body had fully recovered, she exited the space. Meanwhile, Liu Yue noticed that his master had suddenly disappeared without a trace or scent. He became anxious like an ant on a hot pan. So when his master suddenly reappeared, he excitedly gave her a big bear hug, wrapping Liu You'er completely in his embrace. As soon as Liu You'er emerged from the space and had yet to react, she found herself enveloped in a strong stench of decay emanating from him. With her keen sense of smell, she nearly fainted again and struggled with all her might to break free from his embrace. Gasping for fresh air under Liu Yue's wounded gaze made her feel incredibly happy. She thought to herself: "No way! I have to take him for a bath! If this continues, he'll die." Looking around, she led him towards a nearby five-star hotel. 0

Liu You'er looked at Liu Yue covered in blood and grime and fell into distress. "How do I wash him?" After thinking for a while, she led him into the bathroom, filled the bathtub with water, placed a bar of soap nearby, and instructed him: "Take off your clothes and sit in the bathtub. Wet yourself first before applying soap." Then she turned on the showerhead and told him that after applying soap he needed to stand under it to rinse off the white stuff before coming out dressed in pants. Since Liu Yue was a Spiritual Zombie with intelligence development faster than that of Common Zombies, he already had the intelligence of a three or four-year-old child. However, even so, it still took an hour for Liu Yue to understand what she meant. Although he obediently followed her instructions, he still couldn't grasp why... 0

Liu You'er stood by the bathroom door reminiscing about everything that had happened that day while contemplating Liu Yue's changes. She felt it necessary to capture another Zombie for testing. Listening to the clattering sounds coming from the bathroom made her feel that Liu Yue wouldn't finish washing anytime soon. So she wandered around outside. The streets were no longer bustling as they once were; a cold wind blew across an old newspaper, making the entire world seem exceptionally bleak. The dim streetlights flickered alone here and there. 0

Suddenly, faint sounds came from afar that made all the Zombies on the street act as if they were on stimulants as they rushed towards the source of the noise. This caused Liu You'er to frown slightly as she quickly ran in that direction. 0

Having reached Level One significantly enhanced her physical abilities; without feeling tired at all, she covered a distance of one thousand meters in just two and a half minutes. However, due to her strikingly normal appearance among others, she wore a mask. Upon arriving at the location, she noticed many Zombies rushing into an alleyway. Therefore, Liu You'er had no choice but to use Mental Power to force them away. Initially worried about fainting like before, she discovered controlling several Common Zombies wasn't difficult at all; thus she calmed down and cleared out the area. After watching those Zombies stagger away, she turned her attention to a convenience store surrounded by them. 0

The convenience store was located deep in the alley, and now five Zombies were gathered at the entrance. Inside, there was a man and a woman who looked to be about the same age as him, presumably college students. They should have been enjoying life, but he felt a chill in his heart, experiencing a sense of shared sorrow. "If I hadn't turned into a Zombie, maybe I would be just like them, living in constant fear and running for my life." With that thought, he resolved to save them, but the next scene left Liu You'er in disbelief, her eyes wide open. 0

Li Jie held a baseball bat tightly against the door, watching the terrifying faces outside through the glass window as his heart sank deeper into the Bottom of Despair. He and his girlfriend had only come to watch a movie, but suddenly a group of monsters appeared, pushing him to the brink of collapse. After finally escaping to this convenience store, they had food and water and thought they could safely wait for rescue. But who knew that nearly a month had passed without any sign of help? Two weeks ago, five or six ruthless people had come to steal their food and left without acknowledging his pleas, even beating him up in the process. Now their food supply was running low, and they were surrounded by Zombies. If it weren't for Wang Lan insisting on watching that stupid movie! Why did he come to this densely populated area? It was all her fault! 0

As he thought about this, he glanced at his girlfriend, who was on the verge of exhaustion and tears, then at the loosening door. His gaze gradually turned sinister as dark thoughts crossed his mind: "There aren't many Zombies outside right now, but if time drags on, there will be more and more. At that point, there will be no chance to escape. And she is of no use; why not give myself a chance to survive?" 0

So, at the moment when his girlfriend was weakened, he forcefully pushed her down to the ground. The half of the door she had been supporting immediately swung open, allowing the Zombies to rush in towards Wang Lan. Li Jie quickly opened his side of the door, swung the bat to knock away the Zombie blocking his path, locked the door behind him, and ran toward the alley's exit. Behind him, his girlfriend's scream filled with deep resentment sent chills down his spine; yet it sounded like beautiful music to him, causing a twisted smile to creep onto his lips. Just as he was about to escape, he was stopped by a figure backlit by the sun—someone who looked like a messenger from hell... 0
