Ren's operating interface flickers with fine blue light points, each representing the data flow of Kang Tao. These light points in the darkness resemble stars in the vast universe, flickering unpredictably. His fingertips dance on the virtual keyboard, tapping out a series of commands, attempting to breach the company's firewall. 0

His Artificial eye, a highly advanced electronic eye, emits a faint blue light. This eye is scanning Kang Tao's data defenses, trying to find the weakest point. It not only sees the scenes in visible light, but also data streams and electronic signals, helping Ren find a way through the network. 0

Suddenly, his communicator transmitted the low and tense voice of Lysias: "Are you okay?" he asked. 0

Ren didn't look up, but nodded slightly, indicating that he was still working. "Almost done, just give me one more minute," he responded calmly. 0

Lysias stood next to a sturdy steel door, occasionally poking his head out to check the activity in the corridor. His eyes moved quickly, confirming the positions of the surveillance cameras and sensors around him. He was dressed in a black special forces uniform, carrying various weapons and high-tech equipment, from heavy rifles to silenced pistols. He knew the risks of this operation, but for the sake of the common goal with Ren, he had to give it his all. 0

Ren continued with his mission, and suddenly a bright beam of light emitted from the control interface, indicating that he had successfully infiltrated the mainframe and began rapidly downloading data. However, at the same time, he knew that this kind of brightness would quickly attract the attention of security. 0

Lysias's communicator rang again: "Hurry! security is already on this floor, we don't have much time!" 0

Ren took a deep breath, knowing he needed to speed up. His fingers tapped rapidly like the wind, watching the download progress slowly increase, his heart racing along with it. 90%... 92%... 95%... 0

"Done!" Ren shouted, quickly disconnecting and retreating with Lysias towards the exit. 0

As Ren and Lysias rushed towards the exit, the building's alarm suddenly blared, the piercing sound echoing in every corner. The retreat passage they were supposed to enter was abruptly sealed off by heavy steel doors. Blood-red warning lights on the doors flashed incessantly, seemingly mocking their predicament. 0

"Damn it!" Lysias cursed angrily, firing a few shots at the door, but it remained undamaged, only emitting a few small sparks. 0

Ren widened his eyes and also cursed loudly, "We're screwed!" 0

Two people quickly loaded their weapons, preparing for the worst in their battle against the security forces. The entire corridor was filled with the sound of alarms, and threats could be lurking in every corner, making the environment extremely oppressive. 0

Suddenly, the alarm stopped for a few seconds, and then a man's voice with a strong Chinese accent came over the intercom, "Sorry to disturb you all, I am the Safety Supervisor of Kang Tao." 0

His voice was trembling, but more mocking, "Oh, Mr. Ren and Mr. Lysias, you still have some reputation in Night City. But do you think you can easily escape under the nose of Kang Tao? Hehehe..." 0

His laughter echoed on the broadcast, and this heavily accented laughter sounded very ridiculous, but in the current situation, no one found it funny. 0

"I advise you to surrender obediently, otherwise you will bear the consequences on your own." The voice of Safety Supervisor once again carried a mocking tone. 0

Lysias whispered to Ren, "This guy's accent... I'm about to burst out laughing!" 0

Ren's mouth curled into a bitter smile, responding, "Now is not the time to laugh, we need to find a way to escape!" 0

"Oh, I know what you're planning. But on my turf, you won't be able to escape," the voice of Safety Supervisor said confidently. 0

Ren and Lysias had just finished preparing their firearm when they heard an unusual metallic friction sound. They quickly looked up and saw several openings in the ceiling being moved aside, revealing a deep, dark abyss. Then, several sturdy steel ropes descended from the openings, carrying heavy metal objects. 0

First, several armored and gold-plated combat robots slowly descended. Their size was twice that of a human, and each robot was equipped with large-caliber automatic firearms. Ren could see the red lights of their mechanical eyes constantly flashing, as if scanning for targets. 0

Following that, several unmanned turrets followed suit, fixed on four ropes, with the muzzles of machine guns aimed downward. The turrets' automatic locking system began to operate, targeting Ren and Lysias as the main targets. 0

The two immediately realized that they had entered a deadly trap. 0

Lysias tightly gripped the handgun in his hand and angrily exclaimed, " Kang Tao, what kind of game are you playing?" 0

Ren took a deep breath and quickly analyzed the situation in front of him. He knew that facing these high-tech combat robots and turrets, relying solely on firearms would almost certainly lead to defeat. He looked at Lysias and signaled to him to prepare to escape. 0

Safety Supervisor's voice rang out again, with that peculiar funny accent: "Oh, Ren and Lysias, do you really think these little gadgets can stop you? At Kang Tao, you are like rats, with nowhere to run. Surrender obediently, and I might consider giving you a quick and painless end." 0

Lysias's eyes revealed a hint of disdain, while Ren remained silent for a moment, gazing steadfastly at the robots and turrets ahead. 0

"Give me some time," Ren said to Lysias in a low voice, his eyes filled with determination. 0
