I always thought that the 'Demon Abyss' would be a place darker and more terrifying than hell, a place that would send chills down my spine. However, as I stood here, I was truly dumbfounded. 0

"Are you sure this is the place?" I asked. 0

Instead of a sinister cave entrance, there was a crystal-like transparent door. Through it, I could see inside, though not very clearly; it appeared to be a giant garden, very beautiful. 0

"To be honest, this is my first time here too, and it's really different from what I imagined," said the one called Reverse Heaven, shrugging his shoulders. His expression mirrored mine—disbelief. After all, he hadn't ventured far from the Dark Corner. 0

"Is this really the place, Wild Ghost?" Reverse Heaven asked. 0

"Yes," Wild Ghost nodded. 0

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go in," Reverse Heaven said. 0

"Not so fast," Wild Ghost replied. 0

Slowly, the Seven-Colored Flower floated out from his arms, emitting seven rays of light that converged into a blinding white beam directed at the door. 0

Wild Ghost is impressive! With just this Soul Energy, he should be close to becoming a Supreme Lord. 0

But what surprised me even more was that the door had such strong defensive power; it showed no reaction at all. 0

Then, Wild Ghost murmured a few words, and the door slowly opened from the right side. He retracted the flower and stepped inside first. Is he very familiar with this place? 0

For a moment, I stood frozen in place. 0

"Xi Meng, stop pondering. Even if there were ten of you, you couldn't open this door," White Soul said as he walked over and playfully ruffled my hair. He thought I was curious about the door, but no—it was about Wild Ghost. I didn't explain much further and smiled as I followed him inside. 0

Could ten of my powers not open it? That means at least someone at the Realm of the Supreme Lord could do it. Yet Wild Ghost clearly hadn't reached that level, yet he could open this door. 0

Unless he really has ties to the demon race... 0

I quietly followed behind everyone else, speaking less than before and cautiously observing my surroundings. 0

Despite the beautiful flowers blooming all around, there was nothing particularly special about them. However, knowing that this was the place where the demon clan was sealed made me cautious. 0

The flowers here were indeed beautiful and quite large, about the size of a ten-year-old child. 0

For some reason, the more I looked at them, the more I felt they were flawless. They seemed to emit a captivating fragrance. As I walked closer, I even heard—was that singing? Yes, it was singing. It was incredibly pure and natural, tinged with a hint of sadness that made me want to get closer. 0

“Xi Meng!” 0

I was suddenly jolted awake, looking at the Wild Ghost gripping my arm. I couldn't see his expression, but I could sense his tension. 0

“I—I was just looking at the flowers.” As I spoke, I realized my voice lacked conviction; I could hardly remember what I had just done. 0

“Don't look at those flowers anymore. Everything here is off-limits,” the Wild Ghost warned. 0

I nodded blankly, feeling at a loss for words. 0

It was dangerous; I sensed from the Wild Ghost's tone that this place was perilous, filled with deadly threats. Indeed, the more beautiful something is, the more terrifying its allure. 0

The Wild Ghost released my arm and strode away in displeasure. I hurried to catch up with him, unsure why he had suddenly turned cold again. 0

After a couple of steps, I hesitated and glanced back. The flower seemed untouched, quietly blooming as if nothing had happened. 0

Yet I had clearly felt that there was—life—within it. 0

…… 0

“What’s wrong with the Wild Ghost?” Niti approached me and asked quietly. 0

“Who knows,” I muttered, pouting; he had always been so antisocial, hadn't he? 0

“Xi Meng, actually the Wild Ghost isn’t what you think he is—” 0

“What is he?” 0

“We’ve arrived; enter here.” The Wild Ghost suddenly stopped and said ominously. 0

I looked up, and to my surprise, there was a Sky Loft here?! It was so beautiful! Although there was no day or night here, the place still looked uniquely stunning under the twilight... 0

"Are we staying here?" I asked softly. 0

The Wild Ghost nodded and swiftly leaped up to the beautiful Sky Loft. 0

"Let's go, Xi Meng," said the Rebellious One. 0

My body felt light, and in an instant, I arrived at the Sky Loft. Standing on the terrace and gazing into the distance, it truly was a breathtaking illusion that was hard to believe. The wind gently brushed past, and it seemed that every plant had a life of its own, watching over this place. 0

Wait?! 0

Demon Abyss, I remembered where I had first heard that name! 0

It was from Nine Charm. Back in the Demon Emperor Silver Hall, he mentioned that he would be going to the Demon Abyss. However, he also said that the Demon Abyss was the darkest place in the Underworld, where souls would be devoured and lose themselves... 0

But everything here was so beautiful; could it still be an illusion? 0

No, it couldn't be. This place definitely existed in reality; it just had too many secrets and backgrounds... 0

I couldn't help but shrink back as a chill swept over me. Those plants seemed to be looking at me simultaneously, with pairs of hidden eyes. I couldn't tell what kind of gaze that was, but it was unsettling. 0
