"Big Cow, why don't you go for it? Are you afraid of this kid?" Fat Woman said as she lunged towards Fei Hu. Just as she reached out to scratch him, Big Cow suddenly grabbed Fat Woman and pulled her back several steps.
Fei Hu looked confused, and the onlookers in the hall were equally baffled. Fat Woman shouted, "You idiot, why are you pulling me? Are you out of your mind?" She continued to yell.
Big Cow leaned in and whispered something in Fat Woman's ear. Gradually, she seemed to deflate like a punctured balloon, standing there without daring to speak. Fei Hu had no idea what Big Cow had said to Fat Woman, but it seemed her gaze towards him had changed.
Li Xiaoran was sharp; she quickly grasped the situation and shouted, "How are we going to resolve this? Who is going to pay? If no one speaks up, I will call the police! Let me tell you, it's not just about compensating for the damaged items; you've also affected my business today at noon, and that money needs to be compensated too." With her hands on her hips, she looked quite imposing. Fei Hu couldn't help but find it amusing; this beautiful woman had a unique flair when she got angry.
Big Cow rushed over and cupped his fists towards Fei Hu, saying, "I apologize. My sister didn't recognize who you are and unintentionally offended you. We'll cover the costs, no matter how much it is; we won't say another word."
"Wait, wait, wait. First clarify what this is all about; we'll discuss the money later," Fei Hu interrupted Big Cow.
Big Cow's expression changed; he thought Fei Hu was unwilling to let it go and wanted to cause them more trouble. He gritted his teeth and said, "It's all my sister's fault. If you're still angry, take it out on me. I'll take the blame for my sister; go ahead and hit me; I won't dodge."
Seeing Big Cow being so righteous made Fei Hu feel a bit pleased.

Li Xiaoran quickly added, "Then you two should talk in a private room; it's too crowded here." Fei Hu nodded and signaled Wang Yun to help Xu Yanfei as they walked towards the private room where they had just eaten.
As soon as they entered the room and Fei Hu sat down, Big Cow led his sister inside. Fei Hu waved his hand for them to sit down as well while Wang Yun ran over to close the door from the inside.
Fei Hu glanced at the tearful Xu Yanfei and gently asked Fat Woman, "Could you please explain what happened? I'll see if I can help resolve this because I know this woman." He pointed at Xu Yanfei.
Fat Woman shot a glare at Xu Yanfei and angrily said, "This woman is no good; she stole my husband."
"Sis, can you speak more politely?" Big Cow nudged Fat Woman as if he were particularly afraid of Fei Hu.
Fat Woman let out a long sigh and slowly said, "Our family is in the seafood business, so we have some money. Just last month, my husband went to Nangang, and when he came back, I noticed something was off. He has been staying out every night without returning, but I couldn't catch him in the act. Plus, several tens of thousands from our account went missing. So, I followed him, from the hotel to the restaurant, and finally caught him red-handed. It turns out this vixen seduced my husband."
Suddenly, Xu Yanfei, who had been crying non-stop, stood up abruptly. She tossed her hair back and wiped her tears with both hands, saying, "You're speaking without evidence. First of all, I didn't seduce your husband because he told me he was already divorced. That's why I started seeing him. If you don't believe me, bring your husband here so we can confront each other."
Upon hearing this, Fat Woman became furious and stood up as well. However, she couldn't find a way to express her anger at first. After a moment, she asked, "Did he really say that?"
"Absolutely true. I swear to God. I'm also divorced, and when I heard he had no wife, I came from Nangang to Shanghang. We agreed that he would take me to his home to see it. If you don't believe me, I have the text messages on my phone where he invited me," Xu Yanfei said as she pulled out her phone from her pocket.
Fat Woman gritted her teeth and shook her head vigorously, saying, "No need to look at it; I understand now. Maybe I was a bit reckless in this matter. I owe you an apology for this. I'll cover all the compensation here, and afterward, let my brother take you to the hospital to check your injuries. If you're still not satisfied, feel free to hit me a few times; I won't retaliate." Fat Woman spoke very sincerely.
Unexpectedly, the situation took such a drastic turn that Fei Hu was left somewhat bewildered. Xu Yanfei expressionlessly shook her head and said, "No need for that; this is all my own doing." With that, she turned and walked towards the door.
"Stop! Is there anyone so inconsiderate? Not even a thank you?" Wang Yun reprimanded with some displeasure.
Xu Yanfei slowly stepped back and sat down on the chair next to Wang Yun, seemingly lost in thought. Fat Woman whispered a few words to Big Cow, then pulled out a card and handed it to him. Big Cow took it and quickly ran out of the room.
At that moment, Li Xiaoran walked in with a slight smile and asked, "Has everything been resolved? Do I need to call the police?"
"No need for that, Boss. Just tell me how much; I'll cover it all today," Fat Woman said generously.
Li Xiaoran did not expect such a complete turnaround from Fat Woman. She looked at Fei Hu in astonishment. She truly couldn't believe what method this young man used to make such an arrogant woman submit so easily. It seemed that Fei Hu was indeed as she had guessed—a remarkable person. However, she couldn't understand what kind of identity this young man had that left Big Cow so dumbfounded upon seeing him.
Just as Li Xiaoran was unsure of what to say next, Big Cow pushed open the door and walked in holding a thick stack of cash. He stuffed the money into Fat Woman's hands and said, "Sister, this is all brother-in-law's fault; we should take responsibility for your earlier recklessness."
Fat Woman approached Xu Yanfei, gently patted her shoulder and said, "Sister, this is my fault. But please be more cautious in the future; never fall for bad people again. Take this money back with you and get yourself checked at the hospital." She pressed the money into Xu Yanfei's hands.
Xu Yanfei shook her head and tried to return the money to her. Fat Woman shouted angrily, "Stop it! If you don't take this money, I'll make sure we settle this!" Seeing this, Wang Yun gently tugged at Xu Yanfei, signaling her not to be stubborn.
The Fat Woman turned around and stuffed the remaining money into Li Xiaoran's hand, saying, "Boss, this is all I have for now. If it's not enough, my brother will bring you more later; you should know him." After saying that, the Fat Woman opened the door and rushed out. Big Cow hurriedly clasped his fists towards Fei Hu and followed her out.
Li Xiaoran awkwardly counted the money in her hand. After taking a few bills, she shoved the rest into Xu Yanfei's hands, saying, "I don't need this much. You can take the extra back and buy some medicine." Xu Yanfei held the money, unsure whether to take it back or push it away.
Fei Hu truly did not expect this situation to turn out like this. He let out a sigh and gently asked Xu Yanfei, "What happened? How did you end up in Shanghang? Aren't you working at your original job anymore?"
Xu Yanfei slowly lifted her head and glanced at Fei Hu with a somewhat scattered gaze. She said, "At my previous workplace, because of a batch of goods, the Boss was detained. Later, when he got out, he fell ill from stress and disbanded the Breeding Farm in a fit of anger. I ended up unemployed too. Now I do odd jobs every day—either working as a waitress in a restaurant or as a sales assistant in a big mall. Not long ago, I met a man who sweet-talked me, and I didn't expect to end up in such an embarrassing situation."
Fei Hu knew what kind of person Xu Yanfei was, but seeing her like this today made him feel somewhat sad. After all, they had known each other for some time. If it weren't for her help, he wouldn't have completed his work with Yingzi so smoothly last time. Even though it was under unclear circumstances, when Xu Yanfei recognized him, she didn't expose him. For that reason alone, Fei Hu felt it was right to help her.

After a while, the food and drinks were laid out on the table. Under the persuasion of Wang Yun and Li Xiaoran, Xu Yanfei reluctantly joined them at the table. Li Xiaoran looked at Fei Hu with affectionate eyes and said, "This fat guy here is quite a notorious thug in this area. I didn't expect that when he saw you, he acted like a cat encountering a mouse. If you didn't have some special identity, he wouldn't be scared of you at all." As she spoke, her eyes roamed over Fei Hu.
"Hey, you flirtatious woman! Stop throwing those looks around! Be careful or I'll turn against you," Wang Yun sitting beside them couldn't hold back any longer and shouted loudly.
