Tang Lan thought for a moment, then smiled lightly and said, "I would like to ask you to accompany me to Vietnam. I wonder if you are willing to go. Of course, as long as you can come with me, money is not an issue. After we return, I will give you a sum of money. You might want to think about it; this matter is a bit challenging, but the danger is not very great because I am going there just to vent my frustrations. As for whether they will pay me or not, it doesn't matter. I just want them to know that I, Tang Lan, am not someone to be trifled with." As she spoke, Tang Lan personally poured a cup of tea for Fei Hu. 0

Fei Hu pondered for a moment and said, "How can you be so sure that I can protect your safety? We are not familiar with each other; how can you trust me to go with you? Aren't you afraid that I might have ulterior motives?" 0

"Hahaha! Fei Hu, you underestimate me too much. To be honest, very few people who can do business abroad are fools. Since our last meeting, I have had friends in City A secretly investigate you. You are indeed the most suitable assistant for me. However, you didn't agree at that time, which disappointed me. But I have never given up on you. Since you didn't come looking for me this time, I will go to City A to find you; it's only a matter of time," Tang Lan said with a proud smile on her face. 0

Fei Hu gently savored the tea in his cup and after some contemplation said, "It is fate that we met. Although our statuses are different, I can regard her as a friend. I can help you with this matter. Since you won't pay me anything, I don't mind. However, you must first understand that my bottom line is that I do not engage in illegal activities or commit violent crimes. I will never bully the weak; however, if someone offends me, I will not hold back. I wonder if you understand what I'm saying." 0

"Hehe! Am I that foolish? It is precisely because you are such a person that I trust you this way. What you just said is good; we shouldn't have an employer-employee relationship but rather a friendship. It's just asking for your help once. As for your bottom line in life, I will never cross it; rest assured. Also, regarding your news in Shanghai, I will keep it confidential. As long as you agree to help me with this task, I will ensure that you appear in Shanghai under another identity; this will benefit your future activities there. What do you think?" Tang Lan added more tea to Fei Hu's cup. 0

Fei Hu nodded and kept glancing at Tang Lan. He was thinking that such a person probably wouldn't engage in any illegal activities; at worst, it would just be a business dispute. Helping her once wouldn't be a big deal. Fei Hu was having an intense internal struggle but finally gritted his teeth and slapped the table saying, "Alright! I agree to help you, but could you briefly introduce the whole situation to me?" 0

"Of course! I will definitely explain it to you," Tang Lan said as she took a sip of tea and began her story. 0

It turned out that Tang Lan knew a big boss in the country named Cheng Yong who was doing hotel business in Vietnam. Later he met Tang Lan, who believed that the hotel industry had great prospects in Vietnam. She spent several months visiting Vietnam specifically to investigate this project and eventually partnered with Cheng Yong to open Lido Hotel in Da Nang City, Vietnam, catering specifically to Chinese customers. They each invested half of the capital; however, after two years, Tang Lan had not received any dividends as Cheng Yong refused to distribute profits citing losses. 0

At this point, Tang Lan seemed very angry as she took another sip of tea and said, "I have confirmed that the hotel has been profitable every year; there are no losses involved. This guy thinks he can take advantage of me just because I'm a woman. Originally, I could take him to court over this matter but then thought it would be too embarrassing. I want him to see that I, Tang Lan, am not inferior to him." 0

Bang! Tang Lan angrily placed her teacup on the table causing tea to splash everywhere. It seemed she was genuinely furious and might even have thoughts of harming Cheng Yong. 0

After listening to her story, Fei Hu took a deep breath. This kind of person is similar to Boss Hong; they belong to the type who only learn after facing serious consequences and dealing with such people requires ruthless methods—both coaxing and intimidating—and there really isn't much one can do about it. Moreover, this guy has been entrenched in Vietnam for many years and likely has some connections there; this must be taken into consideration because otherwise getting no money would be trivial compared to being beaten up and thrown abroad. 0

After thinking for a while longer, Fei Hu said to Tang Lan: "Then I'll accompany you! However, my passport is still in City A and it will take some time." 0

"That's fine; I'll have my driver go get it for you tomorrow. Once your passport is retrieved, we can book our tickets without delay. Since you've agreed to help me, starting tonight you'll move into my villa; the living conditions there are definitely not worse than those at the hotel—just relax and enjoy yourself," Tang Lan replied. 0

Fei Hu shook his head and said, "No need, I prefer to stay outside for more freedom." 0

"What's wrong? Am I really that terrifying?" Tang Lan exclaimed, her mouth agape in surprise. 0

Fei smiled lightly and replied, "It's not that; I just like my freedom." 0

"I'll give you freedom. If you want a villa, you can stay wherever you like and do whatever you want. After all, we have two housekeepers to take care of us, which makes things much more convenient. You shouldn't be too stubborn. I understand your concern; you're worried about what others might say. But can you really control that? Even if you don't move in, people will still talk. Are you going to silence them?" Tang Lan said with a smile at Fei Hu. It was clear that her mood had improved significantly since Fei agreed to go to Vietnam with her. 0

Fei Hu thought to himself how remarkable this woman was; she seemed to know exactly what he was thinking. However, what she said was indeed true. Since she was so sincere, he didn't see the need to be stubborn anymore. After all, living in a villa offered a level of enjoyment far beyond that of a star-rated hotel. 0

In the following time, Tang Lan and Fei Hu discussed some trending topics and eventually talked about their views on life and values. This left Fei Hu greatly enlightened. He hadn't expected someone immersed in business and surrounded by money could have such a clear perspective on life, as well as a unique understanding of money and status. No wonder she had achieved such success. 0

Just as they were getting into an engaging conversation, a staff member entered politely and asked, "Tang Zong, dinner time has arrived. Would you like to dine here? If so, please place your order." 0

Tang Lan clapped her hands in surprise and smiled shyly, "Oh! A friend in wine is worth a thousand cups; when conversation flows easily, it feels like we've been talking for hours. Great! Let's eat here; you order for me the usual dishes, but double portions." 0

The staff nodded with a smile and said, "Understood, Tang Zong. Please wait a moment." 0

When Fei Hu heard it was time for dinner, he finally looked up and noticed that the lights outside were twinkling; it had grown dark. He hadn't expected Tang Lan to become so cheerful and chatty; she didn't seem like the cold type at all. 0

Someone who knows how to enjoy life certainly orders differently. Fei Hu was having an excellent time eating. Halfway through the meal, Tang Lan suddenly remembered and asked Fei Hu, "Aren't you going to have a drink?" 0

"No thanks! You're driving; you can't drink. It wouldn't make sense for me to drink alone," Fei Hu hurriedly shook his head, declining Tang Lan's kind offer. 0

After they finished their meal and headed downstairs, it was already past nine o'clock. As they reached the entrance, the waiter had already brought Tang Lan's S300 to the door. Such considerate treatment made Fei Hu realize this was a privilege reserved for wealthy individuals. 0

After Fei Hu mentioned the name of the hotel he was staying at, Tang Lan remained silent, her feet moving as the luxury sports car quietly sped away. Despite being a strong woman, Tang Lan drove very gently, especially when there was heavy traffic. With such a high-performance vehicle, she typically refrained from overtaking and always yielded to others, which puzzled Fei Hu. 0

Upon arriving at the hotel, Fei Hu had little to pack since he had left in a hurry. He went to the front desk to return his room key, knowing he couldn't get a refund for the two extra nights he had paid for, so he didn't even bother asking. 0

Once back in the car, Tang Lan glanced at him and smiled, saying, "That was easy!" 0

"Yes, I got a few minor injuries and left in a rush, so I didn't bring anything with me. I originally planned to buy some things here but ran into some trouble instead. Plus, I was feeling quite frustrated, so I didn't get anything. But this is fine; it's simple," Fei Hu replied awkwardly with a smile and fell silent. 0

Tang Lan shook her head and started driving. Fei Hu couldn't understand whether her head shake was meant to be mocking or sympathetic. Regardless, it was what it was; whether she laughed or mocked him didn’t matter. Feeling a bit embarrassed, he turned his head towards the window. 0

The car twisted and turned before slowly arriving at a villa area called Last Month's First. As they reached the entrance, the security guard glanced into the car and quickly opened the gate. Tang Lan wasted no time; with a firm press on the accelerator, the S300 roared and swiftly entered the community. Looking out the window, Fei Hu noticed that this place was no different from Ye Xiaofei's villa area—just as enviable as before. 0

Arriving in front of a villa marked with the number 66, Tang Lan stopped the car and smiled, saying, "We're home; please get out." Fei Hu nodded slightly and jumped out of the car. 0

Turning left and reversing slightly, Tang Lan pressed a button on the garage door lock. With a beep, the garage door opened automatically. The car smoothly backed inside as Tang Lan executed her movements with great familiarity. 0

After parking, Tang Lan gestured for Fei Hu to enter while she moved to the front and pressed her palm against another lock. Another beep sounded as the steel door of the hall opened automatically. The fingerprint recognition system was very advanced, which opened Fei Hu's eyes once again. 0

As soon as Tang Lan stepped into the hall, two maids in their twenties came forward and asked in unison, "Miss Tang has returned." 0

"Yes! Quickly prepare the large bedroom on the third floor; this gentleman will be staying here from tonight," Tang Lan instructed before turning to head upstairs. 0
