Fei Hu tiptoed down the stairs to the third floor. It was already dark, and the hallway was unlit, making it impossible to see anything. Fortunately, as he reached the third-floor corridor, a faint light shone through from a glass window at the other end. Using this light, Fei Hu assessed the situation in the hallway. It was approximately thirty meters long, cluttered with various items, and he had no idea where someone might be hiding behind those piles. 0

While pondering how to find the office that Yingzi mentioned, his pocket suddenly vibrated. Startled, Fei Hu quickly crouched in a corner, covering his phone with both hands. Upon checking, he saw a text from Yingzi: "Have you arrived? Hurry up; I'm afraid I can't hold on much longer." 0

After thinking it over, Fei Hu quickly replied: "I've reached the east entrance on the third floor. The hallway looks complicated, and I'm hesitant to rush in. How about you charge out from inside while I come in from outside? We can catch them off guard." Yingzi responded immediately: "Okay, let's move!" 0

Fei Hu swiftly tucked his phone back into his pocket and began to feel around on the ground. Fortune smiled upon him; he found a rubber stick over a meter long in the darkness. Just as he picked it up and prepared to charge inside, a shadow suddenly darted out from the middle of the hallway. As soon as it appeared, there was a cacophony of sounds as three or four more shadows emerged from behind the clutter. Seeing this, Fei Hu lunged forward at lightning speed. 0

By the time Fei Hu reached them, the shadow that had just emerged was already engaged with those three or four individuals. In the darkness, all that could be heard were the sounds of clashes; it seemed everyone was fighting fiercely. In an instant, Fei Hu struck with both his body and stick, causing those three or four people to collapse onto the ground with a series of screams. He quietly asked, "Is that you?" 0

"It's me," came the reply as a figure leapt in front of Fei Hu. He reached out and grabbed Yingzi's slightly cold hand, pulling her towards the stairway. 0

The earlier commotion had likely alerted those stationed below. As Fei Hu and Yingzi rushed to the second floor, they found four tall figures blocking the stairway. One of them spoke coldly: "Our Boss wants to see you both. We guarantee you won't be harmed; please don't resist unnecessarily. Otherwise, it won't end well for anyone." 0

Though the light was dim, Fei Hu could see that all four were armed with machetes. He quickly turned back and whispered to Yingzi: "Be careful; they all have knives." Yingzi shook what she had in her hand at him. It was too dark for Fei Hu to see clearly, but he felt that whatever she had must be decent; otherwise, she wouldn't have shown it to him. 0

Releasing Yingzi's hand, Fei Hu stepped closer to those four individuals and said coldly: "Step aside if you don't want to fall down; otherwise, don't blame me for being rude." As he spoke, he swung his rubber stick towards their heads. The four seemed prepared and quickly scattered while raising their machetes above their heads. 0

Fei Hu thought to himself: Am I that foolish? Just as his stick was less than twenty centimeters from their heads, he suddenly redirected it backward like lightning and swept it towards their legs. The one on the far left didn't react in time; with a scream, he fell and rolled down the stairs. Suddenly there were only three left. Fei Hu's ferocity took them by surprise; while they hesitated for a moment, he used the height of the stairs to kick one in the abdomen with a loud thud—another one fell. 0

Just as Fei Hu was gaining momentum, Yingzi crouched low and swiftly slipped through his legs. Without mercy, she attacked one of their legs with her weapon. Another scream echoed out as one of them turned tail and ran; he was clearly the smartest among them because otherwise, he'd end up like the other three. 0

Fei Hu waved his hand, and he and Yingzi immediately rushed to the first floor. Upon arriving in the courtyard, Fei Hu and Yingzi were somewhat stunned to see more than ten people on the other side. They had no idea where these guys had been hiding. Fortunately, Fei Hu had climbed up; if they had charged in directly, the consequences would have been unimaginable. 0

"Well, well, impressive skills. With so many of us guarding, you still managed to get up here. It's quite unbelievable. However, if you think you can break through our ranks, it will be a bit difficult. I advise you to come with us and meet our Boss; we guarantee you won't be harmed," said a man standing in the middle of the group, lowering his voice coldly, clearly worried about alarming the nearby residents. 0

Fei Hu did not believe this trickster's words. He grabbed Yingzi's hand and squeezed it tightly before leaping forward, swinging the rubber baton in a wide arc toward the group. 0

Yingzi, not wanting to fall behind, followed suit with her own weapon, targeting their lower defenses. Their rapid attacks caught the opponents off guard, causing their formation to collapse. Fei Hu was relentless; he wielded his rubber baton like a windmill, sweeping up and down, sometimes resembling a spear, moving with incredible agility while the opponents screamed in panic. 0

Even though Fei Hu was brave and skilled, Yingzi was not far behind. However, under such overwhelming numbers, they still felt immense pressure. The opponents seemed like desperate criminals; although their comrades fell one after another, none of those still standing dared to retreat. They brandished their weapons and pressed forward step by step. 0

The fierce attacks and continuous sounds triggered a cacophony of barking from nearby residents' dogs. One bark led to another until the noise became a chorus, especially striking on such a quiet night. Soon, some residents began to wake up and check what was happening as lights turned on one by one around them; the factory courtyard was no longer dark. 0

Seizing the opportunity, Fei Hu swung his baton like a dancing golden snake, sweeping away two or three more opponents. Spotting an opening, he knew he couldn't miss this chance. With a light breath, he dashed toward the large iron gate. Seeing this, Yingzi feigned an attack and followed closely behind him. At this moment, nearby residents had noticed the commotion in the factory courtyard; some had already started dialing their phones to call the police. 0

When Fei Hu reached the iron gate, he remembered the hole he had left in the wall when entering. He quickly turned around and spun his baton like a whirlwind. As his feet touched the ground and he turned back around, he found the hole right beside him. Looking back at Yingzi following closely behind him and noticing that their opponents seemed hesitant—perhaps intimidated by their ferocity—they showed no intention of pursuing further. Fei Hu darted forward and squeezed through the hole in the wall while Yingzi followed suit. Once out of the hole, Fei Hu grabbed Yingzi's hand and ran toward the alley entrance. 0

As they reached Main Road in front of Lihua Hotel, they saw several police cars speeding toward them. Fei Hu and Yingzi quickly pressed themselves against the wall as the police cars zoomed past them into the alley they had just exited. 0

Fei Hu let out a sigh of relief and dropped his rubber baton. "Thank you," Yingzi said softly. Fei Hu remained silent as he took her hand again and hurried along Main Road; he knew this place wasn't safe. 0

Suddenly, a car sped up behind them and came to a screeching halt right next to Fei Hu. A foul smell of burning rubber wafted through the air. Fei Hu cursed inwardly, thinking "What are you trying to do? You don't need to drag me into this." Just then, Yingzi pulled her small hand out of Fei Hu's tight grip. 0

Feeling something was off, Fei Hu turned around only to find that it was Ye Xiaofei in the sports car. He was momentarily stunned while Yingzi looked uncomfortable; just moments ago her hand had been tightly held by Fei Hu. At that moment, Ye Xiaofei leaned out of the window and softly called out, "Get in quickly! Do you really want to run home?" 0

Fei Hu finally came to his senses, opened the car door, and sat beside Ye Xiaofei. Yingzi was quick as well, and once the car started moving, Ye Xiaofei asked, "So, are you two okay?" 0

"With me around, what could possibly happen? You should think about who I am," Fei Hu said, trying to cover up the awkwardness from earlier. Although none of them had any particular thoughts in this situation, there was still a distinction between men and women. 0

After Ye Xiaofei drove the car onto the overpass, he smiled and said, "You always boast so much, but with a bit of small capital, you somehow manage to turn misfortune into fortune. It’s somewhat convincing." As Ye Xiaofei spoke, he suddenly glanced at Fei Hu, and his expression changed. He slowly pulled the car over to the side of the road. 0

Seeing Ye Xiaofei's unusual expression from the back seat, Yingzi nervously asked, "What’s wrong, Sister Xiaofei?" 0

Once Ye Xiaofei parked the car, he turned slightly and touched Fei Hu's arm in surprise, asking, "How did you get hurt?" Upon hearing this, Fei Hu looked back with some suspicion and noticed a large patch of blood soaking through his white shirt on his left arm. He hurriedly raised his hand and felt the pain; he couldn't help but grimace. Perhaps he had been too tense earlier to realize he was injured. 0

Ye Xiaofei said with a hint of concern, "Look at you; you're hurt like this and didn’t even know it. Is there anyone like you?" 0

Yingzi and Fei Hu immediately sprang into action, retrieving a first aid kit from the trunk. They tore open the sleeve on Fei Hu's arm and gasped in horror. There was a deep cut about four to five centimeters long on his arm, exposing white flesh underneath. It looked quite alarming, and Fei Hu could feel Ye Xiaofei's hand supporting him trembling slightly. 0

"This wound can't be treated here; we need to get you to a hospital immediately. Otherwise, it could get infected and become a serious problem," Yingzi said firmly. 0
