"Wow, Ye Xiaofei, you're amazing! You won over twenty thousand from Li Jie in one go. Why didn't you tell us earlier that your boyfriend is so impressive?" The women who had lost money in the gambling began to chatter excitedly. Ye Xiaofei seemed to ignore them, thinking to herself where they were when she needed support earlier, now only making sarcastic comments.
A martial arts competition turned into an interlude for the gathering. Soon, everyone forgot about it. As the night deepened and the drinks flowed, people began to let loose and have fun. With the music playing, almost no one was sitting idle. Ye Xiaofei tugged at Fei Hu and said, "Come on, why are we just sitting here? It's such a great dance tune; not dancing would be a waste!"
Fei Hu awkwardly smiled and replied, "I'm not very good at dancing; I hope you won't laugh at me."
"Come on, we're all just having fun together. Who cares if you dance well or not?" Ye Xiaofei said as she pulled Fei Hu into the swirling crowd. Dancing this kind of couple dance, especially the slow four, was something Fei Hu hadn't done in years. Back when he worked at a factory in his hometown, they would hold dances every weekend. It was then that he secretly learned to dance with others, though his partners were all male. Tonight, as he danced with the woman of his dreams, his heart felt a little intoxicated.
At first, Fei Hu's steps were a bit clumsy; he stepped on Ye Xiaofei's feet several times. However, Ye Xiaofei didn't mock him but instead leaned on his shoulder and softly said, "Don't be nervous; you're doing great." Encouraged by her words, Fei Hu gained confidence. He let go of his worries and led Ye Xiaofei through the crowd. The two of them became more and more in sync as they danced, quickly drawing curious glances from everyone around.
Sitting on the sidelines sipping her drink, Chen Sisi quietly complained to Li Jie, "Look at Fei Hu! He’s taking on two opponents and making Chen Jianwu and Liu Jian admit defeat. Hey, he dances just as well as any of you! And here I am losing over ten thousand tonight just because of you; seeing you makes me want to throw up." As she spoke, she lifted her foot and kicked Li Jie's white pants.
"What? Are you interested in him? Good! Go ask him for a dance; it might help improve your relationship. Who knows? With your skills, you might even win him over," Li Jie said with a teasing grin directed at Chen Sisi.
Hearing this made Chen Sisi so angry that she stood up and softly cursed, "You're such a jerk!"
As Fei Hu led the sweaty Ye Xiaofei off the dance floor, he noticed that Li Qin was dancing with another woman. He felt a bit puzzled and quietly asked Ye Xiaofei, "Does your good friend Li Qin not have a boyfriend?"
"Many have come and gone; she's very picky. She doesn't even glance at ordinary men. So for now, she's still single. Why do you ask? Are you interested in her?" Ye Xiaofei suddenly changed her tone with a hint of jealousy. This woman's sensitivity was truly remarkable, causing Fei Hu's heart to tremble slightly.

As Li Qin spoke, she sat down next to Ye Xiaofei and cast a light glance at Fei Hu, her gaze enough to make anyone shiver.
Ye Xiaofei smiled, and her smile was truly beautiful. Besides happiness, it contained immense satisfaction. She suddenly turned to Fei Hu and said, "After the next song, you should dance with Li Qin; she dances really well." Fei Hu was taken aback; he didn't understand what she meant and was momentarily at a loss for words.
Li Qin chuckled and said, "Fei, it's no surprise that my good friend can guess my thoughts. Since that's the case, I don't need to say anything more." The two women began to playfully tease each other while Fei Hu sat quietly, still pondering why Ye Xiaofei would suggest that he dance with Li Qin.
"Hey, it's our turn now," Li Qin suddenly extended her fair hand in front of Fei Hu.
Just as Fei Hu was unsure of what to do, Ye Xiaofei gave him a light pat and laughed, "Why are you in a daze? The music won't wait for anyone!" Hearing this, Fei Hu hurriedly stood up and nervously took hold of Li Qin's delicate hand; it was truly soft and smooth.
As the music played, Fei Hu loosened up and boldly began to dance. He felt a sense of clarity; after all, it was just dancing—what was there to be afraid of? Perhaps he had overthought it. Once he let go of his worries, he realized that dancing with anyone was fine as long as they could coordinate together.
Just as he got into the groove, a gentle breeze swept by, carrying a faint fragrance from Li Qin. Fei Hu's heart fluttered involuntarily as he glanced at her. This woman was exceptionally tall; she was nearly eye-level with him. When their eyes met, Fei Hu felt a bit flustered and accidentally stepped on Li Qin's foot.
"Oops, I'm sorry! Did I hurt you?" Fei Hu said with a slightly flushed face as he hurriedly apologized.
Li Qin playfully scolded him, "Am I that fragile? I'm not made of paper!" As she spoke, she gently pinched Fei Hu's back. He couldn't help but shiver at her touch and thought about what she might be up to. Lost in thought again, Fei Hu stepped on Li Qin's foot again—this time a bit harder.
"What are you thinking about? You're always zoning out," Li Qin said as she pinched him again. This time it effectively brought him back to reality. He quickly refocused and danced wholeheartedly until the song finally ended.
As they left the dance floor, Li Qin suddenly leaned in close to Fei Hu's ear and whispered softly, "Make sure to leave your contact information later; don't forget." This woman was incredibly bold; while saying this, her other hand lightly stroked Fei Hu's back. It almost made him faint from the overwhelming temptation. He suddenly felt guilty towards Ye Xiaofei for acting this way.
"What's wrong? Can't control yourself while dancing with a beautiful girl? Is Li Qin's foot really that comfortable?" Ye Xiaofei laughed as she handed a bottle of drink to Fei Hu. As he sat beside her, he felt a bit uneasy but relieved that he hadn't made any major blunders earlier; otherwise, he would have been in trouble. He hadn't realized how sharp Ye Xiaofei's eyes were—every move he made was under her watchful gaze.
"Hi, handsome, how about dancing with me?" Chen Sisi walked over, and Fei Hu noticed the movement of her chest. This woman really prioritized style over comfort; it was a bit cold for her to be dressed like that.
Ye Xiaofei glanced at Chen Sisi and gestured for her to sit down, saying, "Are you kidding? Li Jie is over there doing nothing, and you come over here trying to steal my thunder. Are you upset because you lost money tonight? If that's the case, I can refund you." Ye Xiaofei chuckled, clearly enjoying himself.
Li Qin playfully slapped Chen Sisi's exposed fair skin and said with a smile, "Don't create any chaos for us. I'm dancing with Fei Hu because I'm currently single, but you're about to become someone's bride. What if Li Jie gets jealous and causes a scene? You should calm your restless heart." As soon as Li Qin finished speaking, the three women burst into laughter.
Chen Sisi shook her head dismissively and said, "That depends on who gets jealous. If he dares to be jealous of Fei Hu, he better be ready for Fei Hu to knock him off his feet." As she said this, she glanced at Fei Hu sitting nearby with admiration in her eyes.
When the music shifted to a fast tempo, Chen Sisi didn't care whether Ye Xiaofei was okay with it or not. She ran up to Fei Hu, took his hand without giving him a chance to speak, and dragged him straight onto the dance floor. With the lively music playing, Fei Hu found it hard to remain still. However, when his gaze met Chen Sisi's snow-white skin, his heart began to race. How could this woman dress like that and expect him to dance with her? It was quite overwhelming.
Chen Sisi danced beautifully; Fei Hu was almost led by her. The small dance floor felt like it was spinning around them. In the corner, Li Jie felt extremely displeased. Suddenly he thought that since Fei Hu was dancing with Chen Sisi, Ye Xiaofei would be left alone. He could take this opportunity to dance with Ye Xiaofei. Finding a corner, Fei Hu sat down. To calm the fire within him, he opened a bottle of cold beer and drank it all in one go. Suddenly, Li Qin appeared like a ghost and laughed, "You really have a heroic spirit! If this were ancient times, they'd call you a knight; I wouldn't think it's an exaggeration at all."
Fei Hu smiled and replied, "You're flattering me; what hero am I? I don't deserve that title. By the way, where did Ye Xiaofei go? I haven't seen her." As he spoke, he looked around.
"We're chatting; why are you asking about her? She went to the restroom; she'll be back soon," Li Qin said while throwing Fei Hu a flirtatious glance.
